This is the first time I have used the MyAEW.com service and it was absolutely flawless. I installed the app on my Roku, ordered the show and once it was "live" I clicked play and there was no buffering, no loading, just a perfect stream.
They opened with everyone being welcomed to Arena Mexico. There was a countdown to the start of the official anniversary for the promotion and then a live band playing with dancers in the ring and around the entrance to the ring. Nice pageantry.
Maika & Mei Seira & Ema Maishima vs. Candela & Sanely & Kira
The theme here is CMLL vs. STARDOM from Japan.
Seira reaches for a handshake, but Kira quickly takes her down with a single-leg before following up with a springboard crossbody for a two-count. Candela tags in and performs a handstand off Seira’s back, but the flourish gives Maishima an opening to blast Candela with a dropkick, sending her to the floor and allowing Sanely to enter.
Sanely avoids an armdrag by answering with a series of stomps to the body before drilling Candela with a shotgun dropkick. Maika tags in and strings together a series of cradles on Sanely, each producing a two-count. The STARDOM trio then triple-teams Sanely in the corner before peppering her with a barrage of mid-ring dropkicks.
The CMLL trio fights back, landing stereo Ligerbombs and a missile dropkick to regain control. Candela follows with an inverted C4 in the center of the ring, and Kira tags in to hit a springboard Codebreaker. Candela brings Seira back into the match, but Seira catches her with the Checkmate crucifix bomb to score the victory.

MLP President Scott D'Amore wished everyone at CMLL a happy anniversary and called them the home ot Lucha Libre. He hoped for another 93 years for the world's oldest wrestling promotion.
Jeff Jarrett vs. Blue Panther
Jarrett came to the ring alone, no Karen Jarrett. He played to the crowd at the bell and was booed like crazy. He attacked Panther as Panther went to remove his entrance robe. He used it to fling Panther to the mat, then blew his nose in the robe. Happy birthday to Blue Panther! Jarrett immediately went after his mask. The crowd serenaded him with "culero" chants. Jarrett pulled him back in a chinlock while against the ropes. He railed Panther in the corner with a right hand and stomped away at him.
Jarrett whipped Panther into the corner, but he returned with a series of clotheslines, taking Jarrett down each time. Panther ripped off his mask and climbed the ropes but Jarrett knocked him to the floor. Jarrett grabbed the entrance mask and wiped his rear with it. He shoved Panther hard backwards into the barricade, then whipped him into it. Jarrett choked Panther against the barricade while jawjacking with the fans. He kicked Panther before shoving him back inside the ring.
Jarrett covered Panther but pulled him up before the three count in a display of arrogance. Jarrett stomped away at him, then nailed a suplex. Jarrett again choked Panther against the ropes and charged with a leap down onto his back while Panther was trapped in the ropes. Jarrett did the Fargo Strut and kicked Panther to the floor. He went to whip Panther into the guard rail but it was reversed and Jarrett crashed over the railing in the crowd. Panther nailed a dive off the entrance ramp to the floor, on his 66th birthday. He tossed Jarrett back into the ring and covered him for a two count.
Jarrett boxed the ears of Panther, then jabbed him in the chin. Panther absorbed it and battled back with chops. They battled back and forth with punches. Panther took him down with an armbar and forced him to tap.

Perfectly fine and acceptable legends bout.
After the bout, a number of officials came to the ring to celebrate the anniversario along with several wrestlers and minis. They did a countdown and revealed a new banner to replace the old one, signifying 93 years of the promotion.
The head of Rev Pro in the UK congratulated CMLL and looked forward to welcoming them to the UK this Fall.
CMLL Tag Team Champions Los Hermanos Chavez (Ángel de Oro & Niebla Roja) vs. Villano III Jr. & El Hijo del Villano III vs. Mascara Dorada & Neon vs. Los Hermanos Calavera (Calavera Jr. I & Calavera Jr. II)
Everyone began brawling before the bell even officially began.
The Villanos eat a pair of ranas from the Calaveras that send them to the floor, and Neon follows with his signature double-jump moonsault block! Sky Team sends the Calaveras crashing into the buckles with belly-to-belly suplexes before hitting imploding 450s for a near fall.
The Calaveras answer with a double superplex on Neon, only for the Villanos to swarm them with stomps in the corner. Los Hermanos score a two-count on the Villanos with German suplexes, but the Villanos recover with springboard Destroyers to Sky Team! Sky Team fire back with poison ranas to the Villanos.
Los Hermanos hit Sky Team with avalanche slams for two after a save, before Neon takes the fight to the ramp and launches a Spanish Fly from the top onto a pile of bodies on the floor! Back inside, Los Hermanos finish things with a Liger Bomb and frog splash combination for the win.

MLW owner Court Bauer wished CMLL a Happy 93rd birthday from everyone at the promotion.
AEW vs. CMLL: Komander vs. CMLL Welterweight Champion Titan.
Titan starts fast with a tope, then kicks Komander in the back before double stomping him off the steps of the entrance. Komander catches Titan with a 619 as he tries to enter the ring, but Titan rebounds with a superkick off Komander’s springboard. Komander avoids a double stomp and retaliates with a double-jump moonsault to the floor. Titan evades the ropewalk SSP, but Komander catches him with a draping pump kick and a draping legdrop off the top for two. Komander goes for a ropewalk attack to the apron, but Titan catches him and hits an DVDR on the apron. Titan misses a double stomp on the floor—and if you’re going to take that kind of risk, an anniversary show is the time to do it. Komander recovers and hits the ropewalk into an inverted flip dive to the floor.
Back inside, Komander’s ropewalk SSP to the back gets a near fall. Titan fires back with a second-rope tornado DDT, a Gourdbuster, and a superkick before landing a double stomp for a near fall. Titan hits a superkick off a whip but eats a C4. Komander gets two from a cradle and sets Titan up for an avalanche back suplex. Titan fights free with elbows, then sends Komander into a tree of woe and follows with an double stomp for another near fall. Titan finally locks in a Dragon Tamer submission variation for the tapout.

This was a lot of fun.

A live band played with masked singers. MyAEW muted the audio, likely due to rights, so I can't tell you if they were any good.
ROH Champion Bandido vs. Soberano Jr. (non-title)
The audio was not turned back on until a few minutes into the match. The storyline was Bandido's title was not on the line as Soberano didn't want it, feeling that Bandido going to the United States for wrestling was selling out. They went after each other's masks, to the point Soberano needed another mask. He pressed and slammed Bandido on the apron. He nailed a twisting dive to the floor. Bandido caught him with a cutter and a shooting star press for a two count. Soberano fires back with a handspring Code Red for a near fall.
They battled back and forth. Bandido drilled Soberano with a knee strike and hit a Michinoku Driver for a two count. Bandido lands the X-Knee and follows with the 21 Plex for a close two count. Soberano Jr. batted back and hit a tombstone off the ropes for the pin.
Your winner, Soberano Jr.!
This was really good with a nice intensity.
The President of New Japan sent congratulations to CMLL.
CMLL Women's Champion Persephone vs. Tessa Blanchard vs. Starlight Kid vs. Mina Shirakawa.
Tully Blanchard accompanied Tessa to the ring.
Tessa and Perspehone scrapped on the mat. The champ pulled her to the floor, where she was crotched on the top of the guard rail right in front of Tully Blanchard. Perspehone worked over Tessa and brought her back to the ring. Tessa tried to fight her off but was superkicked. Starlight Kid nailed a 619 on Persephone. Blanchard and Mina hit stereo slingshot splashes in the ring on Perspehone and Starlight, scoring two counts. Mina attacked Tessa and locked on a figure four leglock. Starlight grabbed Tessa in a Dragon Sleeper. Persephone broke it up. She and Mina tried to double-team Starlight but were caught with a stereo takedown.
Mina nailed a dove to the outside on Tessa. Starlight hit a moonsault from the top to the floor on Persephone. They each covered their opponents, going for a pinfall at the same time. Mina and Starlight began battling each other in the center of the ring. Tessa snatched Persephone and rolled her up. She dropkicked Persephone to the floor, then dove off the ring apron with a flying clothesline to the floor. Starlight attacked her on the floor. Perspehone and Mina battled in the ring, Mina drilled her with a spinning backfist, then hit a big DDT but Starlight broke up the pinfall.
Starlight nailed a Michinoku Driver on Mina for a two count. She went to the top for a moonsault and nailed it. Persephone grabbed her title and went up the entrance aisle. Blanchard nailed Ace Cutters on Starlight and Mina. Persephone tossed her title at Blanchard and laid down as if she was hit, pulling the old Eddie Guerrero deal. The referee saw Tessa holding the title and called for a DQ. LAME.

All the challengers protested but nothing was changed.
The match was fine until the end.
AEW President Tony Khan wished the promotion a happy 93 years of wrestling at the highest level. He thanked CMLL for being a great partner and said they are so proud to work with them.
AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo vs. Volador Jr.
Volador starts strong with a forearm shiver, but eats a springboard headscissors and a springboard tornillo to the floor! Volador uses the opening to hit a rana that sends Andrade into the barricade. Andrade hits Three Amigos and sends a kiss up to Eddy for a near fall. Andrade nailes a Destroyer for a near fall. Andrade follows with a nasty powerslam on the apron. Andrade gets sent ass over teakettle over the barricade in a scary spot. Volador hits a rana off the barricade before hitting a dive from the top of the stage to the floor. That looked awesome. They battle back to the ring and to the top for an inverted Spanish Fly that gets a near fall for Volador but Andrade kicked out.
Andrade eats a basement superkick, and Volador follows with another and another! A Poisonrana drops Andrade, but he pops back up and hits a nasty elbow for a near fall. Andrade lands the shotgun knees, but the Hammerlock DDT only gets a one count. Volador answers with a pop-up Destroyer out of the corner for a near fall, followed by a Butterfly Destroyer for another near fall. Andrade hits the Elbow of Death and follows with a moonsault for the pinfall.
Your winner, Andrade el Idolo!
This absolutely ruled. Just a great physical confrontation.
CMLL Heavyweight Champion Hechicero vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
A fast back and forth and back again series of pinfall attempts early on. Hechicero even attempted to pin both at once. Zack wraps Hechicero in a cobra twist on the ropes, but Claudio breaks it up with a big boot. Claudio nails Hechicero out with a gutwrench suplex from the apron to the floor. Claudio hit a bodypress from the top to the floor on Sabre. Back in the ring, Sabre transitions a modified octopus hold into an armbar, then a vertical triangle choke. Claudio sends him over the top, but ZSJ keeps the hold on tight.
Hechicero lands a springboard dropkick and a swinging backbreaker on ZSJ in the middle of the ring. ZSJ locks in another standing octopus, but Claudio breaks it up and goes for the Giant Swing on Hechicero. Hechicero counters into a cradle for a near fall. After Claudio unloads on Hechicero to soften him up, ZSJ hits the Zack Driver for a near fall. ZSJ lands a running boot to Hechicero’s chest, while a cradle on Claudio gets a near fall. Claudio hits the Neutralizer on Hechicero and the Ricola Bomb on ZSJ! Hechicero answers with the spiking headscissors for a near fall on Claudio. Finally, Hechicero traps Claudio’s limbs and keeps pulling, forcing Claudio to verbally submit.

Mistico & Averno vs. Templario & Ultimo Guerrero vs. Dragon Rojo Jr. & Barbaro Cavernario vs. Star Jr. & Zandokan Jr.
EVERYONE brawled as they hit the scene. Mistico received the final introduction and dove off the balcony onto the pile below. The story is that each team is made of rivals. The final team will be forced to face each other, putting their hair or mask on the line to close out the Anniversario event.
Rojo hit a dropkick on Templario, who then was drilled with a double-jump crossbody to the floor from Cavernario. Averno followed with a flip dive, but was then drilled with a big splash to the floor by Cavernario. Templario hit a Liger Bomb on Rojo Jr., scoring the pin.
Dragon Rojo Jr. & Barbaro Cavernario are eliminated.
Ultimo Guerrero fire off a series of overhand chops to Star Jr. and Zandokan Jr. in the corner, before Star Jr. scored a near fall on Guerrero with a doubleteam splash. Star Jr. and Ultimo Guerrero battled in the corner before Guerrero was hit with an avalanche Gourdbuster for a near fall. Star Jr. hit a Wasteland on Guerrero, followed by an avalanche inverted superplex, but Averno broke up the pinfall and took out Star Jr. with the Devil’s Wings to score the elimination.
Star Jr. & Zandokan Jr. are eliminated.
Two teams left.
Mistico hit a springboard rana on Guerrero, then nailed springboard Destroyer to score the win.
Templario and Guerrero are eliminated........so..........
Averno vs. Mistico - Mask vs. Hair.
Averno attacked Mistico and they battled up the ramp and around the ringside area. Mistico battled back and hit a big dive. He nailed a springboard cross body and back in the ring, nailed a Code Red for a two count. Averno went for La Mistica, but Averno cut him off and drilled him with a facebuster for a two count on Mistico. He worked Mistico over for a bit, even catching him on a springboard move and transitioned that into a powerslam on the entrance ramp.
Averno avoids the tornillo on the floor, leaving Mistico to crash out hard. A doctor and others check on Mistico, but just as they are going to call it, he refuses to stop the match. Nice drama there. Averno attacked him and sent Mistico crashing into the barricade. Mistico came back to nail a Code Red in the middle of the ring for a near fall. Averno climbs to the top and eats a kick, but catches Mistico with an avalanche Devil’s Wings for a near fall. Mistico fires back with a Spanish Fly for another near fall Mistico locks in a standing Tequila Sunrise, but Averno reached the ropes.
Mistico caught him with La Mistica and forced the tapout, even knocking the referee over in the process.
Your winner, Mistico!
White streamers rained down to the ring.
Averno had his head shaved. He acted as if he was going to hand the hair to Mistico, but then attacked him and ripped the mask off him as well as Sky Team, who had joined him in the ring.
He walked off with the masks with the idea that he was blowing off the lucha tradition of having the rest of his head shaved.
