Gotham Wrestling returned to West Nyack, NY for another round of television tapings tonight at Levity Live. The live crowd was down, but this was expected by those within the company as school started this week locally in the area.
A big focus on the taping was to create challengers for Raz Jaz as the UWN Television Champion with Jarett Diaz, Papadon, Leo Sparrow, and Joey Conway all jockeying for position across the taping.
UWN owner David Marquez missed the taping as he was under the weather but monitored the taping remotely from California. Nick Bonnano, who is the head of creative here, ran the taping.
Papadon, Patrick Fitzpatrick and Dan Parker worked as Producers at the taping. Peter Avalon, who usually works as a Producer, was not at the taping.
Former Ring of Honor referee Gino Colucci worked backstage as a producer as well. He was also at the recent Red Carpet Rumble event working in a similar capacity. He recently worked as a stage manager for a country music stadium tour.
Joey Conway now has a group he is leading with The Backseat Boyz, Vinnie Pacifico and Michael Mistretta, sort of a Raven with his flock.
Pacifico's horror film Mr. Reset and The Society of the Turnbuckle and Bone is now streaming on Tubi.
The belief is Little Guido has finished his run here, at least for now.
The promotion will return on 10/15. They now have about 8-9 weeks of TV banked in advance.
