I attended the MLW tapings in Charleston, SC last night. One thing to note, they taped the show completely out of order, so the Fightland special was taped last but will actually air before the Fusion tapings.
Here are some highlights.
Fightland Special
-Templario defeated Black Tiger
-Masha Slamovich debuted, as the newest member of Contra, taking out Clara Carter as she was making her way to fight Lady Frost. Masha took Clara’s spot in the match and defeated Lady Frost.
-Killer Kross and Josh Bishop defeated Austin Aries and Mistico in a tag match where rivals had to tag with each other.
Fusion Taping highlights
-Paul Walter Hauser defeated Cody Fluffman
-Masha interrupts a Shotzi Blackheart promo which leads up to a match between the two. Masha defeats Shotzi for the MLW World Women's Featherweight Championship.
-Austin Aries wins the 2026 Opera Cup defeating Matt Riddle in the finals.
Next taping in Charleston will April 10, 2027.
