SHOULD PENTA WIN TONIGHT, LIV HAS A BEEF, AEW IS IN A BETTER PLACE AND MORE

Would you for any reason pull the trigger and have Penta win the championship, even if it's just for a short run?

The only reason that would be worth arguing for is the moment that it would create in Mexico City.  With that said, no I wouldn’t do it.  I would book Penta to be super competitive and be elevated in the loss, but I wouldn’t do a shock title change.

I probably already know the answer to this but it's there some sort of health screening/physical for wrestlers on independent shows? I know that they'd never be able to do blood tests and stuff like that but is there any kind of medical clearance before getting in the ring?

In most cases, no there isn’t.  Those kinds of screenings are expensive and most indies don’t have the funds to have those tests run.

At this point, do you think Ric Flair's legacy as a wrestler will be always be overshadowed by his foolish behavior? It almost feels like he's intentionally trying to erase his status as one of the greatest pro wrestlers in history in favor of embarrassing social media conduct, gaffes, public feuds, and his inability to separate himself from his gimmick outside of the ring,

I think that two things can be true at once.  His behavior in his later years does tarnish the man, for sure, but that doesn’t take away from what he accomplished in the ring as he hasn’t done anything THAT egregious.  To me, he just comes across as sad, not evil.

Do you think that AEW is in a better place now than it was a couple years ago? I know you generally don't care for the company's product (which is totally valid), but it seems like AEW and TK have learned a lot of lessons since the CM Punk fallout and have grown substantially for it.

I do think that they are in a better place.  They have a better TV deal, which is very important.  Also, Tony Khan himself has grown in his role and handles himself and the company much better than he did a few years back.

Liv’s shoulder was clearly up when Becky Lynch counted the pin.  That HAS to be mentioned on Raw right?

I would think so, for sure.  Also, Becky stopping the count at 2 also should come up.  Liv has a beef, for sure.  The flip side is that she did put her hands on the ref.  In any event, it had to feel great for Stephanie Vaquer to get the win in her home country.
