LA Knight told Solo to wait and pick the bones of The Bloodline and Keys’ group while they take each other out. Two questions:
How is Knight a babyface? He basically told Solo to leave him alone while he tries to win the Title.
To me, Knight is a dick. He said he cared about Solo but when Solo wanted his help, he blew him off. Plus, what babyface wants to pick the bones? None. Heels pick the bones.
Should Solo turn on him and kick his ass?
Hmmm, in real life yes. In wrestling booking? No. Solo has been doing such great work turning face. I hope that they don’t destroy that.
OK, three questions. Given how badly HHH is booking right now, should we expect him to undo all of the great booking that he has done with Solo by having him do something stupid?
I hate to say this but there is at least a 50/50 chance that happens. HHH and his shades of grey booking is a shit show. I hate it.
Not much really moved me about Smackdown. Well, Baron Corbin is babyface in my eyes. Anyone that lays out Lil’ Yachty is gold in my book. I can’t recall the last time celebrity involvement in wrestling annoyed me this much. Unfortunately, TKO seems to love having them around.
Two things can be true at once. Yachty does act like a heel. But, he was brought in to be a heel. I think he did a great job at SNME in the ring and I love his commitment to the business. He has a lot of value. Paul Levesque needs to do better in booking him, and most other people on the roster.
Punk & Zayn delivered, as expected. I just don’t think Zayn is the right guy to dethrone Punk. So now I guess we somehow get Owens/Zayn for the 438th time?
They killed it in the ring, for sure. But yep, the Title should not have changed hands, especially if it’s for another short reign. Sami is a whiny baby. They can’t let him be champ for too long so what’s the point? Levesque has lost his way. He went from being an amazing booker to, well, this. It’s sad. Business is still strong now but as I say all of the time, you only know when you peaked when you look back later on and see how you fell from your high point.
