Bron/Oba didn’t do much for me, unfortunately. Heyman tried to give it a big fight feel with his intro, but the match just missed for me. I expected a non-finish & Vision shenanigans so that was no surprise. Maybe it’s just a result of Bron’s booking insomuch that this didn’t have the juice it needed for the match to happen and mean something. What did you think?
I think that the booking of Breakker leading up to the match definitely had a role in your enjoyment. I cluster finish was pretty obvious since that is what they had to do or Bron was dead in the water. I think the work was very good but I can see how the lack of investing was there for you.
So I guess Oba is in the Vision Vortex for a while?
I am OK with that. He needs something to do until he moves into the Title picture and this time of year probably isn’t when it’s going to happen so I am fine with him having mountains to climb.
Now, Oba will want revenge and this isn’t over, so did they just put off Bron eventually losing to Oba?
That would seem to be the way this ends, and should end. Now, you could question whether they should have paired them in the first place because I certainly do.
I loved Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes. What did you think about Randy getting the win?
I think it was the right call. I have said this a few times but Cody has been given a lot in the booking over the past few years and I think at least some in the crowd have had their fill of him always getting shoehorned into the Title picture. There were audible chants for Orton in Cody’s home town. There is a message there. I think that they need to keep Cody out of the Title picture for a while so a program with Randy could be the perfect tonic for him.
So WWE is censoring blood on Netflix but partnering with strip clubs? I don't think they censor on YouTube. So does this mean it's a Netflix call? And what could be the reason?
Netflix makes the final call on censorship, not WWE. TKO, however, does make the final call on strip clubs. Then. Now. Forever (with an STD). Now there’s a slogan.
