It was announced this morning by Conrad Thompson at the request of the Dundee family that Memphis Wrestling legend Superstar Bill Dundee passed away this morning at 82 years old.

Bill's son Jamie Dundee wrote, "With a heavy heart ot hurts me to have to say this ...At 330 this morning the SUPERSTSR BILL DUNDEE has passed away ...I love you Dad illl catch you on the OTHERSIDE........REST IN PIECE SUPERSTAR ...

While I will write more about him as soon as I can, Dundee had a legendary run in Memphis as one of their top talents, feuding with Jerry Lawler, was a booker for Bill Watts' Mid-South Wrestling, performed in WCW as Lord Steven Regal's manager and lots of other accolades. He was one hell of a performer and was very much one of the best minds and performers. He had been dealing with health issues related to dementia for some time but was still regularly appearing at conventions and making other public appearances. He was just honored this past weekend by the current incarnation of Memphis Wrestling and had attended the street re-naming in honor of Dundee's all-time greatest foe, Jerry Lawler last month.
