Wrestling Open

9/3/26 Worcester, MA

Spotlight Match: Colt’n Charles vs Erik Chacha

Chacha gives up a lot of size here and Charles is making him feel it. Charles can just parade Erik around and slam him into buckles or the mat at will. Chacha with some well timed dodges and starts to stun Charles with kicks. And then he whips Colt’n off the ropes and Chacha eats a spear that ends things in an emphatic three.

Match 1: Jose Zamora vs Bobby Casale

Oh Jose has a 360 post camera now. How 2017 WWE of him. Zamora catches a full cycle of him running from Casale. I bet that won’t be a clip. Casale pummels him a bunch but Zamora launches into a rally when Bobby looks to touch the camera. And then Zamora goes to talk to the “chat” and Casale clubs him in the back and tosses him around. Bobby catches Zamora trying to fly and lands a sitout powerbomb for the three. He’s cooked, chat. Afterwards, Bobby says he and Danny Miles are looking to take the Tag belts off of the Ranch. Worcester wants it.

It’s time for the Discovery Gauntlet! You gotta win it to stay in it!

Match 2: J Bouji vs Jordan Moses (Discovery Gauntlet)

Jordan has a young clean shaven Russel Crowe look to him and boy, the people seem to like him out the gate. Bouji is absolutely laughing at tonight’s competition. Also, Bouji is ranked #10 in PowerSlap lightweights??? Moses makes Bouji WORK tonight. He shows his strength and desire as he dominates J in the early minutes. Bouji finally dodges a body splash and lays the boots in on Moses. Jordan kicks out of some big slams before coming back with some big slams of his own. Jordan goes for the kill but Bouji dodges, lands a solid right hand and gets the win after a package powerbomb. Good match!

Match 3: Rex Lawless vs Sammy Diaz

Most people give up size to Lawless but Sammy ain’t scared. He’s ready to chop this  big oak down. Rex lands a lot of big offense,  Sammy stays quick when he can but he’s digging deep to keep kicking out. Sammy can’t take Rex down though and every time he tries, Lawless cuts him in half. Rex goes for the sitout bomb….Sammy twists and rolls down, Rex’s shoulders are down…Sammy gets the three!

Match 4: As Above, So Below (Buck Sawain & Brian Kilgannon) vs Big Buisness (Love Doug & Big Bacon Brad Hollister)

Love Doug won the Big Business triple threat at Americanrana but it was Bacon who came to his rescue and prevented Brick City from doing more damage after the match was over. AASB are intense but the sheer team experience of BB is overwhelming them early. The NH mountain men start to get one over on Big Bacon. Brad gets caught in the wrong corner for a while but he gets Doug in there to show that

Love conquers all. Huge knee strike bulldog combo. Brad’s back in it and Business is Booming on Sawain. One. Two. Three!

Brad on the mic. Big Business is back and better than e—BRICK CITY RUNS IN AND ATTACKS! Bacon and Doug getting flattened. Hit the Bricks on Doug and they stand tall on the fall back of Brad.

Match 5: Gabby Forza vs Amira

This was fun last time so I’m glad we’re running it back. It’s a hell of a welcome back for both these ladies, who push each other HARD. It starts fun but Amira smacks the gnome hat off Ref Gina early and this becomes a way more serious fight for the tower of power. Amira means business and takes it to our homie. But Gabby isn’t staying down and Amira is getting frustrated. Gabby with the comeback and  they trade a LOT of finisher quality offense but Gabby finally catches Amira off the top and powerslams her down for the three.

Match 6: Rain Conway vs Bruss Hamilton

After losing to both Thatcher and Gresham in the last week, you’d think he’d humble up some. Nah. Bruss is a big beefy strongman with a mustache that is exactly what you expect in a big beefy strongman. Conway screams and charges right into Hamilton and knocks himself out. Conway swarms after he trips Bruss into the buckles. That’s…the best he can do it seems. He thinks he is putting this man to sleep. Nah. Bruss back up and just smashing with forearms and axehandles. To his credit, Rain is kicking out of all of this. Bruss holds Hamilton up for a long delay suplex…but Conway rakes the eyes and rolls the big man up for the three. Boooooooo!

Kylon King is out here with Colt’n Charles. King says the Miracle Generation isn’t going anywhere…they are just in divide and conquer mode. Dustin Waller is holding down Mondays. Thursday has the King. Kylon has Charles with him for backup…and is pretty happy about the Shooter Boys getting split up last week. But it seems like Aaron Ortiz is coming to Thursday and Kylon is looking to establish some dominance.

Match 7: Kylon King (w/ Colt’n Charles) vs Aaron Ortiz

Ortiz is looking a little more aggressive in his presentation at the moment. Kylon might be trying to establish dominance but Ortiz has a chance to make a MARK as a singles threat tonight. And he is definitely giving Kylon way more than he expected a big northern lights. A suicide dive. Going toe to toe with superkicks. Charles is staying in the outside for the most part  while Ortiz and Kylon go to war. Ortiz with a destroyer. Kylon with a brain buster! King goes for the Kyledriver….Ortiz rolls him up for the three!!! He did it! And then Kylon and Charles swarm and beat the heck out of him.

Main Event: 23 Hazard and the Breadwinner (Cash McGuiness & Patrick Wheatman) vs Bear Bronson, Bobby Orlando & Alec Price

I didn’t realize you could make the Breadwinners look dumber but alongside 23 Hazard, they look like the Young Schmucks. And Bronson’s crew treat them like the clowns they are. After wiping out the breadwinners, Bear throws Wheatman to his own corner to get hazard in there. Chaos reigns but Bear and constant tall. After being sent to the boards and thrown back to the wolves, the Breadwinners finally save their captain after wiping out Price and Bear on the apron. Our mom gets triple teamed but finds his way free of the gang to get the Northeast Beast in there. Price takes a little too long taunting and the Breadwinners double team him. Bear gets in there and smashes everyone but the numbers game starts to work against the champ. Wheatman hits a top rope elbow for a near fall??? Bear rips the durag off Hazard. He’s so bald! The breadwinners hold Bear up for the hidden blade but Price drags Hazard outside! Wheatman eats splashed and elbows from everyone but McGuiness makes the save. Everyone makes it to their feet as the teams start to square up again. Big flurry of superkicks and lariats all around. The Breadwinners superkick party Bear but he spears them into toast. Bronson picks up Wheatman for the Fire Thunder Driver for the win!

Hazard attacks after the bell. Price quickly drives him off. Bronson on the mic. He wants Hazard to stay put. Since they won, Bear gets to pick the stipulation for their match next week. In two weeks, it’s Bear vs Hazard for the Open Championship. But next week? It’s Bronson vs Both Breadwinners and Hazard will be forced to sit there and watch Bear feed on his family. The Breadwinners look HORRIFIED!
