Where do you think they’re going with the Heyman/Breakker relationship? Bron is obviously not happy with Paul. Do you think at this point Bron even needs Paul him at all onscreen?
Given how Bron has gone backward since losing the feud to Seth Rollins (and to me being a tag champ is going backward from being a top single), I think he needs Paul with him unless Creative decides to have him beat Oba Femi, which would be insane to me. Oba should not lose right now but Bron also will be hurt from a loss. This is a program that I think that they went to before they should have, but that is par for the course lately.
Not really a question; Chad Gable vs; Rey Mysterio was everything I thought it would be, what a match. The fact that Rey Mysterio can still go like that at 50+ is unreal. The match gave me the feeling I used to get when Vince was still in charge; despite all the shitty booking, we would still get an amazing display like this once in a while.
I couldn’t agree more. The match was great, for sure. Rey is amazing, he really is. He’s almost 52 and he moves like he is still in his 20s. It’s unreal.
Why would you put Lyra and Sol out there when both women need wins? Lyra’s entrance wasn’t even televised. I know they have to run commercials but I am conditioned as a viewer when entrances don’t get televised for lower and midcard talent it usually doesn’t go well for them.
You are right, both needed the win and the one that didn’t get it was going to mean less than she did going in. They probably tipped their hand by not televising Lyra’s entrance.
That main event segment was all over the place in terms of how fans were supposed to feel, what a mess.
Yes it was! Roman Reigns has been confusing for a while now but it’s pretty clear to me now that he is a dick heel. I was glad that Solo got the pop that he did.
A. The Bloodline do their babyface entrances and the fans chant away for Roman, and then he activates “douche mode“ and cranks it up to 11. It’s like he does a heel turn every time he speaks and the fans just forget from week to week. Is this just another thing where HHH thinks he’s booking with great layers of storylines and no one will tell him otherwise?
Well, at this point Roman has a lot of say in what he does, which he has earned. But I agree, it’s so bizarre to give guys a huge babyface intro when they are acting like dicks.
B. By the end of the segment, you couldn’t help but feel Roman and the Usos deserved everything they got.
100 percent. I hated that they had Solo lose last week but at least it was a protected loss. Him taking out Roman last night was a great spot.
C. I had hoped Solo wouldn’t submit and take their shit, and he didn’t. But now it’s right back to where it was before he lost to Jey. Why bother with that match then? The only thing that had some intrigue was where Jacob is going to stand.
The announcers said that Knight had gotten in the Title picture. I was like, “What about Solo?” But with Solo as a face, and a new friend of Knight’s, I am OK with LA getting a shot first. Jacob was interesting because Roman called him off, so he listened. I hope it leads to Roman berating Jacob and him bucking up. Jey was the CHAMPION and now he is happy to be a Captain? HUH? The Bloodline was so good, for so long, but now it’s just a mess.
