Why would they take the title off of Trick Williams? Did they just deflate his push?
I wasn't personally a fan of WWE booking that, but if they use it as a way to give Trick something to chase and win back, perhaps it can be a positive in the long run. I don't think it was designed to deflate him. It just wasn't a great idea in my opinion.
Do we know if WWE is paying the Busted Open crew now?
They are not. The Busted Open crew are under contract to SiriusXM and we are told that has not changed. So, the idea WWE is paying them would not be correct.
Mike's recent answer about Jerry Lawler's reaction to a fan admittedly popped me as I can mentally envision the laugh. Which reminds me, how much of an MVP talent was the King between 1995-96 WWF?
Lawler absolutely laughed. He was a pro, especially when he had every right to throw a punch. Lawler was awesome in 1995 WWF, but I think his peak year was 1993 when he was feuding with Bret Hart. I can absolutely confirm that at live events in the Northeast, especially at The Nassau Coliseum, he was getting true heel heat with fans wanting to "get" him for what he was doing to Hart at the time. It was awesome to see as someone who loved Memphis Wrestling.

MLP is a partner promotion. The short answer is Tony Khan approved the appearance in order to help MLP. Khan is 100% benevolent in that way.

Yes, they were removed from the platform. I don't know it was ever promised to be there until the end of time, but if it was, I suggest you reach out to FITE.
