So, did Joe Hendry and Giulia have to take a bite of the same shit sandwich? She got killed on Friday, and they just ran the same play on Hendry tonight on RAW. I’m not saying Joe should be in the world title picture, but jeezus….
They both were definitely pushed down many pegs on the totem pole, for sure. That has happened to a lot of newer talents of late. It's a shame.
And not for nothing, but did Dirty Dom have some of the crumbs, too? Talk about defined down….
The guy is the AAA Mega Champion and they have booked him like a jobber. I don’t get it, not one bit.
I really liked Oba’s interaction with Heyman backstage. After Summerslam, I was actually hoping Heyman would offer his guidance to Oba should he want it. Not that Oba needs a manager, but I think it’d be pretty cool. Do you see anything in their future, or this was a one-off ?
Heyman is a slippery heel. I don’t see how he would work with Oba the face. It’s not like Oba needs promo help. They could be going down the road where Heyman tells Bron Breakker to prove something to him and try and beat Oba. For Monday, it seemed like Oba paying respect to Brock and Heyman accepting it.
Where did Sol Ruca disappear to after the DQ in her match? Did she just sell at ringside forever while Lynch and Vaquer came out or slink to the back?
HHH’s pattern of giving new talent a push, only to make them seem secondary continues. I would have thought after all of the years of Vince doing that to the talents that he cultivated in NXT, HHH would have learned not to do the exact same thing but of late, he has not.
Dick Roman is back - scolding the Bloodline, saying that Solo should be fetching coffee, etc. And then he approves Fatu’s actions later in the show. I know on the Summerslam audio you said with Eps that Roman must be a babyface now, but I guess not. Is HHH ever going to just slot him decisively as one or the other?
And he also mocked most of the fan base with the “Walmart watch” comment to LA Knight! Yep, Dick Roman is back. I have not liked how they have booked him for a while now. This is just an attempt to regain the original Bloodline aura but it has not worked like the original did. I wish that they would just let him be an ass kicking babyface. HHH is booking way too much shades of gray stuff for my liking. I had hoped with the promo that he did after his SummerSlam match it was a turning point for his character. It does not look like that will be happening.
How do you feel about Oba & Bron likely being set up? I don’t think either guy can afford losses at this stage.
I scratched my head at that. Bron just lost his feud to Seth Rollins and is now a tag team guy, which I hate. He deserves so much more. You are right, he shouldn’t lose again but by the same token, given how he has been booked there is no world where Oba should lose to him. Creative’s bizarre booking continues.
