We start off with a look back at SummerSlam.
Roman emerges from his LOCKER ROOM and he his handed his title belt by his belt valet. Roman walks in the back.
Roman receives his speaking implement from his microphone caddy.
Roman looks around, maybe for his Mug Root Beer celebration, and then . . .
Roman wants the entire state to acknowledge him. He says he is a man of his word and he called his shot. He said he would win the Rumble and save the company. He went to Maina and beat the old man. He owned the summer. Last night, he beat Seth Rollins. In these parts, that stings a bit. Roman says Seth is your boy and he is his brother. Last night, they may have found some peace. He can only acknowledge as much, but it is okay if you do.
LA Knight interrupts and makes his way to the ring.
The crowd chants for Knight.
Knight wants to talk to ya.
He congratulates Roman on his win at SummerSlam and still being the World Champion. Despite him and Seth saying you couldn't do it by yourself, you did it by yourself. You are still a fraud. Knight says he has been calling Roman names for months, you called out the dogs. He wants what Roman owes him. Knight says the last time they had a match, it wasn't one-on-one. He wants what Roman gave Seth. No Bloodline. They can do it now, next week, Money in the Bank, or even at Wrestlemania. The only right answer is yeah.
Roman says this is what he is talking about. Who are you talking to calling him a fraud. He doesn't call himself a megastar and wear a Walmart Watch. This is what a megastar wears. Evreyobdy is running their mouths. You beat his cousins in a six man tag match. What else have you done? You haven't won a tournament, a battle royal, or a big match. You don't get a number one tcontender match for bitching and complaining. You may have wasted his cousins times, but yuu ain't wasting his time.
Knight stops Roman from leaving the ring. He says Roman is so much cooler not standing in front of him. Knight says he has earned it time and again. You and 38 other people beat him. You have used the numbers to shield himself. You suck. You are on a different level because you hold the title. You are not on his level. Knight says he is lightning in a bottle. He tells Roman when he buys a pair if he cannot grow a pair, he will knock him back to his factory settings.
We look back at Hell in a Cell.
Match Number One: Je'Von Evans versus Ethan Page
They lock up and Page with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Page does some jumping jacks and Evans with a springboard rollup for a near fall. Page with a kick and punch. Page goes for a slam and Evans with a matrix to avoid him. Evan flips away from Page and connects with a boot to the head. Evans with a slingshot head scissors and drop kick to send Page to the floor. Evans with a plancha. Evans goes up top and he hits a cross body and then Evans goes up top but takes too much time. Evans goes to the apron to avoid Page and Evans goes for a suplex but Page gets Evans into the ring and Evans with a rollup for a near fall. Evans with a drop kick for a near fall.
Evans with a kick and then Page sends Evans' head into the turnbuckles. Page sends Evans to the floor and then Page follows. Page sends Evans' head into the apron. Page with a forearm and he sends Evans back into the ring and page with a back elbow for a near fall. Page with a back breaker. Page with a forearm.and he sends Evans into the turnbuckles. Page with a hard Irish whip. Page with punches and a kick. Evans with punches. Page with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Page with a reverse chin lock. Page adds more pressure to get Evans back to his knees. Page iwth a forearm to the lower back. Page with a second forearm to the lower back.
Page pie faces and kicks Evans while belittling him. Evans with punches and kicks. Evans with a punch and he sends Page into the turnbuckles. Evans with a kick to the back and he hits a springboard clothesline. Evans goes for a springboard move but Page hits the ropes and he hits a Regalplex for a near fall. Evans with an inside cradle for a near fall. Evans with a lateral press to counter a belly-to-back suplex. Page charges and is sent to the foor but Page pulls Evans to the floor and Page send Evans into the announce table. Evans escapes a slam and sends Page into the announce table and ring post. Evans sends Page into the time keeper's area and then Evans hits a Wacky plancha.
Evans with a rebound round kick for a near fall. Evans goes for the double jump cutter but Page stops him and then Page with a cover using the ropes for a near fall. Evans with a boot to the head and a Page with a Confidence Breaker for a near fall. Page with a power slam for a near fall. Page sends Evans to the floor. Page tries to expose the turnbuckles but the referee stops him. Evans leaps over Page and the referee and hits a double jump cutter for the three count.
Winner: Je'Von Evans
After the match, Big Cass is in the ring and he connects with a boot to the head. Cass with a clothesline and then he picks up Evans and drags him around the ring. Cass with a bear hug into East River Crossing.
We look at what happened in the six man tag match.
Ronan says he wants to keep the respect. This is what you wanted. You don't lose. You lost to your little brother? He should be getting coffee. LA Knight calls him a fraud? WHy does he hear that Royce Keys is Jacob's family? Are you his family? Royce isn't his family? Maybe he is one of the boys. Don't let the circus freaks confuse you. This is the only Bloodline. Trust no one.
Jey says they will get LA Knight.
Roman says leave Knight for him.
LA Knight walks past the Usos and Fatu and he asks if he heard someone say leave him alone. He says he will see everyone next week.
Byron is with Lyra Valkyria in the Interstital Interview Area.
He asks about her focus on the IC title.
Lyra says she created that title. It was made for her, by her, and she will find her way back there. She wants to talk about poor Sol Ruca. She knew that Sol would crash and burn. She doesn't have the grit or mental strength. Sol lost the title in the same building Lyra lost it in.
Lyra wants to talk to Raquel. She says she hopes that Raquel saw what she did to Bayley. She is gone and never coming back. If she did that to a friend, what will she do to someone she doesn't like?
Jacob is in LOCKER ROOM and Royce shows up.
Royce asks how many times do they have to do this. How many times have their fought together? He can forget everything. They are brothers. They are family.
Fatu says Royce ain't his brother or his family. You are just one of the boys. He is Bloodline. Me versus you . . . tonight, in a street fight. He says he will dog walk Royce's ass.
Liv Morgan makes her way to the ring and she is accompanied by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
Liv sasys you are in the presence of the greatest women's champion of all time. You already knew that because on Saturday, she defeated one of the best in the world. She defeated Iyo Sky. Liv says she will give Iyo props. She is the only woman in the division to challenge her. She doesn't see any challengers. They look around.
Do you know what that means? She will be the longest reigning champion of all time. She wants to talk about another member of the group. Her best friend, her sister, the new Intercontinental Champion, Raquel Rodriguez.
Liv mentions Roxanne as well. Liv says that Roxanne will embarrass Sol Ruca and they will prove why they run Raw.
Match Number Two: Sol Ruca versus Roxanne Perez
Sol with a clothesline before the bell and the referee asks Perez if she is raay to go.
The referee starts the match and Perez goes to the floor. Sol goes to the floor and chases Perez around the ring. Perez with a kick when they return to the ring. Perez with forearms. Perez with a side head lock. Sol tries to send her off the ropes and Perez holds on. Sol blocks a side head lock take down. Perez with a side head lock take down using the turnbuckles. Sol with a shoulder tackle. Sol misses a knee but hits a back senton for a near fall. Sol with a wrist lock and wrm wringer. Perez gets to the ropes to force a break. Perez goes back to the floor.
Sol chases Perez around the ring again and Sol pulls Perez to the floor. Perez with a forearm and then she kicks Sol. Perez tries for a side Russian leg sweep but Sol blocks it. Perez with a rollup and bridge for a near fall. Sol with a near fall. Perez slaps Sol. Perez with a forearm to the back. Perez kicks and chokes Sol in the corner. Perez with more kicks in the corner. Sol blocks a kick and Sol with a leg sweep and forearms. Sol with an Irish whip and a few more. Sol misses a hip in the corner and Sol catches Perez and her hip attempt in the corner. Sol with a face plant and a drop kick. Sol gets a near fall.
Sol with a surfboard but Perez escapes. Sol flips over Perez and hits a back heel kick. Perez goes to the floor and Sol with a moonsault off the ring post. Perez blocks a Rainbow DDT and Sol hurts her arm. Perez with a knee drop to the arm. Perez with a hammer lock DDT for a near fall. Perez stomps on the injured arm in the ropes. Perez with a hammer lock and she sends Sol into the ring post. Perez with a kick to the ribs for a near fall. Perez with a seated abdominal stretch. Sol gets back ot her feet and Perez with a suplex for a near fall. Perez returns to the arm bar. Perez and Sol exchange punches and forearms. Sol with a kick and elbow. Sol with a back elbow or two. Sol with an Irish whip and elbow. Sol with a German suplex. Sol with a running knee for a near fall. Sol gets Preez up for a power bomb but Perez counters with a rana for a near fall.
Sol with a rollup for a near fall. Sol goes for an X Factor but Perez lands on her hands. Sol blocks Pop Rox and hits X Factor. Sol knocks Raquel off the apron and then Sol goes to the turnbuckles and Liv trips her. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Sol Ruca (by disqualification)
After the match, Perez kicks Sol and then hits Pop Rox. Raquel with a Tejana Bomb.
Becky Lynch's music plays and everyone stops to watch her walk to the ring.
Becky gets a mic as she walks right past them.
Becky asks Raquel if she came for that title. She made that famous and her work is done.
Becky says she came for you, sweet cheeks. To make sure it isn't another 100 days before you defend the title again. You have become a glorified valet. The Women's champion should be fightning, not flirting. You have had the worst title reign of all time. Becky says things are about to get a whole lot worse.
Liv says that is very very very typical. You should be at home being a mommy to your daughter. It is pathetic to be in her face. You are jealous of her. Your time is over and Liv says her time is now. She is the greatest women's champion.
They leave the ring.
Becky says she isn't the greatest women's champion in her group. You aren't even the best women's champion to sleep with Dominkik Mysterio.
Stephanie Vaquer shows up and she attacks Raquel and Perez. Liv goes into the ring and Vaquer grabs her while Becky watches from the turnbuckles. Vaquer punches Liv.
Raquel and Perez come to the ring and Vaquer with a head butt to Raquel. Vaquer with a spine buster to Liv.
Becky comes up behind Stephanie and they have words for each other.
We have a Brock Lesnar video package.
Paul is in HALLWAY watching video and Oba Femi stops to talk to him. He says he wants to thank Brock for what he said to and about him. He wants Paul to tell Brock.
Paul says it would be a pleasure. Paul congratulates Oba on his win.
Danhausen comes out during the commercial.
He mentions his victory and how he is rich since he got his money back. He has money to shoot into the crowd.
Oba Femi makes his way to the ring and he is dressed like Count Iblis He says words cannot describe what happened on Night One of SummerSlam. They went to war in Hell in a Cell. They came out with scars and bruises. There was a winner and a loser. They had new found respect. He thought Brock knew that he was the one when he won at Wrestlemania. Oba says he thought Brock was jealous when he came back, but now he knows it was a test to see if he chose right. Can Oba swim? That was answered quickly.
Going into SummerSlam, the question changed. It went to how long can you hold your breath. That is what Brock did. He went into the cage with the most decorated combant participant. He swam up and he emerged victorious and he passed the test. The beast can now rest.
Oba says his destiny seems clear. There is no path. We forge our own destiny. He says he will lead a new generation and the old guard will fall. If any man has a problem with the man who holds the torch, you answer to him.
Bron Breakker's music plays as Oba is on the stage to go to the back and Bron is joined by Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri.
Bron and Oba stare at each other for a bit until Austin leads him to the ring.
Match Number Three: Joe Hendry versus Bron Breakker
Bron has not moved since he got to the ring, but the referee starts the match and Joe does NOTHING. Joe yels at Bron and Bron with a clothesline that sends Joe to the floor. Joe pushes Theory into the ring post and connects with a clothesline. Bron goes for a WACKY spear but Joe with a leap frog and Bron goes into the ring steps. Joe sends Theory over the announce table. Bron iwth a spear for the three count.
Winner: Bron Breakker
Bron goes to the back and Austin Theory punches Joe after the match. Theory with a knee and punches. Tozawa comes out and Theory snap mares him. Theory runs into a boot and Tozawa with a head scissors take down and kick that sends Theory to the floor.
Jackie is with Big Cass.
She welcomes him back to Raw and says no one expected what they saw. She asks why Je'Von.
Cass says eight years. He was left for dead in the dirt. It took him eight years to get back here. Nothing personal, you were in the way. He is here to stack bodies. You were just the first and won't be the last.
Byron Saxton is with Ethan Page in the Interstitial Interview Aew.
He asks about Ethan's match tonight.
Page is asked what went wrong and he says maybe Byron should be asking Evans. He says he would love to know who Je'Von is doing. Evans might have won the battle but Page won the war. Karma came for Evans and Karma is named Big Cass.
Byron asks Page why did he lose.
Page says he won't give away his game plan to everyone. He won't give a leg up to the competition, especially the IC Champion and division. He won't stop chasing gold in WWE. Page says he will capture gold on Raw and will become IC Champion.
Chad Gable makes his way to the ring.
Chad says he loves the energy. Last night was the single greatest moment of his career. Everyone he has talked to told him he deserved it. Chad says he has never said he deserved anything, but he thanked everyone. He says he has some people to thank tonight. First, he wants to thank Penta for being the epitome of a fighting champion and cementing his legacy as one of the greatest luchadors. He wanted to thank all of you for sticking with him for ten years. For sticking with him when he came close and it didn't happen. Sticking with him when he was Shorty G. Sticking with him when he vowed to become a singles champion. When you make a promise, you bust your ass until you finish your promise.
Penta's music plays and he comes to the ring.
