NWA Powerrr on Comet opens with highlights of the Kerry Morton vs. Thrillbilly Silas Mason storyline, leading to Morton no showing their bout last week, The Wrestling Machines attacking Silas and Bryan Idol making the save.
On the call are Joe Galli, Danny Deals and Tim Storm.
The Immortals came for an in-ring interview. They said that standing in the ring without the NWA Tag Team Championships, they get to stand in the ring and see fans that value work ethic and may have had the oddds stacked against them - but as they stand in an NWA ring, they will get what is theirs back. They will have what is earned. NWA Tag Team Champions The Country Gentlemen with Joe Cazana came to ringside. Cazana said that he's getting ready to take his team on a European tour to make the belts relevant again all over the world. He started naming all the places they would go, none of which were in Europe. He said The Immortals are at the bottom of the list but if they can beat a mystery team that is as "big and bad" as The Immoirtals, they can get their rematch.
Out came Jack and Eddie, which are, well, pretty scrawny.
The Immortals vs. Jack Valor and Eddie Grayson
Odinson wastes no time lighting up Valor with a barrage of Asgardian uppercuts, and even Grayson attempts to engage in what can only loosely be described as a power battle. Kratos quickly teaches him the error of his ways, launching him clear across the ring.
Grayson later catches Kratos with a crucifix pin for a near fall, but the Most Feared is far from finished and promises more punishment. Valor and Grayson find success by leaning on their tag team chemistry, stringing together crisp tandem offense, but their momentum comes to an abrupt end when Odinson gets the hot tag.
Just as it looks like Kratos and Odinson are taking control, The Gentlemen interfere. They blast Kratos with the book behind the referee's back, leaving him vulnerable for Grayson to capitalize with the pinfall and steal the victory.

Storyline stuff to give The Immortals obstacles on their path to the belts.
King Trevor Murdoch vs. Boom Boom Groom
They said this was an exhibition match for the King. He pretty much controlled things until being kicked off during a charge. Murdoch caught him going for a strike and pulled him into a full nelson slam for a two count. Murdoch hit a DDT variation, which they called The King's Landing. Tim Storm quipped, "We call that over." Indeed, Murdoch scored the pin.

Murdoch was interviewed. He introduced his Royal Court - Sire Tyler Franks and Sir Michael, Duke of Knox (Mike Knox). He declared they were the Royal Family and told the fans to love it.
Backstage. Aron Stevens was exasperated dealing with The Slimeballz and Wrecking Ball Legurski. He finally walked off. Stevens was pretty funny reacting to their silliness.
HollyHood Haley J vs. Gina Sais Quoi
Haley J worked over Gina for some time but Gina tried to bite her finger. Haley responded by unloading with a series of stomps. A Shining Wizard earned Haley a two count, and she soon tried to stack the deck by reaching into her tights for a pair of brass knuckles. The referee caught her before she could use them, but the distraction allowed Sais Quoi to blow black dust into Haley's face. She nailed a stunner but, Haley kicked. They battled outside, where Sais Quoi gave chase. As the referee stepped between them, Sais Quoi shoved the official aside, creating just enough of an opening for Haley to connect with a devastating power slap, playing off her competing in the Dana White promotion. That set up the pinfall.

Backstage, Kerry Morton commented on what went down last week. He said that Silas will have to watch what he's saying here because Silas isn't worth his time. He said the fans and Silas will watch him make an announcement in Atlanta in a few weeks to reveal exactly what's next for Morton.
Carson Drake was back with another edition of The Carson Drake Experience with Pretty Boy Smooth and Pastor C-Lo. Drake will be facing C-Lo at Hard Times 6. He was insulting to them from the start. Smooth warned him he would slap him. Drake bragged about his accolades and how he had beaten each of them before. He said C-Lo would be in trouble in Atlanta. Smooth stood up to fight him, so Drake called an end to the show.
The Wrestling Machines (NWA National Champion Mike Mondo & NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Slade with Aron Stevens) vs. NWA Champion Thrillbilly Silas Mason & Bryan Idol.
Everyone brawled at the onset of the bout. They went to a break to "gain control." When they returned, Mondo missed a diving headbutt on Mason. That allowed the champ to make a tag out to Idol. They battled back and forth. Idol looked to put things away with the Idolizer, but Mondo cut him off. Slade and Mondo regained control, isolating Idol in their corner and cutting the ring in half. The duo took turns wearing him down for some time until Idol shoved Mondo off the top rope and hit a missile dropkick.
After another commercial break, Mason finally got the hot tag and chaos erupted. The Slimeballz attacked Idol on the floor, but The Hardway charged in and brawled with them at ringside. Mason planted Mondo with an airplane spin bomb with the idea that would set up the victory but the referee was distracted by Aron Stevens getting on the apron. Kerry Morton hit the ring, drilling Mason with a lowblow. Mondo rolled up Mason and pinned him, hooking the tights during the rollup.

8/1 NWA Powerrr - Hard Times 6
They are in Atlanta's Center Stage, which was the home of WCW Saturday Night for many years. It's also within walking distance of a puppetry museum, but none of you care about that.
On the call are Joe Galli, Tim Storm and Danny Dollars.
NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Slade with Aron Stevens vs. Damian Fenrir
They noted this was the biggest match in Fenrir's career. Stevens distracts Fenrir, and Slade takes advantage, Fenrir nailed a dropkick followed by a suplex. Stevens gets on the apron to distract him. Fenrir takes a swipe, which opens the door for Slade to take him down with a series of suplexes and slams. They battled to the top over a superplex. Fenrir goes for a suplexx, but Slade counters and snatched an ankle lock. Fenrir escapes and nailed a flying knee for the pin but Stevens pulled th champ's foot over the ropes. Fenrir nails a Lightning Bomb, but Slade counters and hits the Slade Slam. He went for the Slade Lock, but Fenrir rolls through and attempts another pinfall. Fenrir goes to the top but Stevens hits him with a loaded glove. He crashed into the ring. Slade locked in an anklelock and the referee called for the bell, but he disqualified the champ.

Obviously, no title change.
Backstage, The Pope told Mims that next week, Pope would be fighting Carnage and when he was done, the world would know how great he is.
NWA United States Tag Team Champions The SlimeBallz (Sage Chantz and Tommy Rant vs. The Hardway (Jack Vaughn and Dalton McKenzie)
The Slimeballz are Bill & Ted meet Spicoli from Fast Times meets the most annoying people you ever met in a seedy bar.
Chantz wastes no time going after the much larger McKenzie, but the size advantage quickly pays off as McKenzie catches him in a military press before dumping him hard onto the mat.
Rant and Vaughn are next in, with the veteran Vaughn looking thoroughly unimpressed by The Slimeballz' antics. McKenzie charges in looking for a tackle, but Chantz wisely pulls Rant to safety. Moments later, Jake Stevens tries to tip the scales in The Slimeballz' favor by tripping up The Hardway from the outside. The referee catches him in the act, however, and immediately ejects him from ringside.
With the numbers even again, Rant and Chantz isolate McKenzie, keeping him trapped in enemy territory. They attempt a double suplex, but McKenzie powers out, turning the tables before making the desperately needed hot tag to Vaughn. The veteran explodes into the match, cleaning house with a flurry of offense.
The Slimeballz go for their SnotRocket finisher, but McKenzie shoves Chantz out of the way at the last second. Hardway drills Rant and scores the pin.

In the parking lot behind Center Stage, Natalia Markova cut a promo saying that next week she gets her hands on NWA Women's Champion Tiffany Nieves. She says Nieves never deserved to have the title. She said when the spotlight is on Nieves, she doesn't really have much to offer. She promised to see her in one week.
They showed highlights of last week's tag team main event.
Kyle Davis interviewed Kerry and Ricky Morton. Kerry said that when you watch someone and see that someone is everything they claim they are, that's him. He doesn't care what the fans think. They don't put money in his pocket. The boss is who knows Morton will bring the NWA to where it needs to be. He said he's going to NWA Champion and Thrillbilly can kiss his ass. Davis asked Ricky if he agrees with his son. Ricky said that for 40 years, he was part of The Rock N' Roll Express. Morton said no one knows what he sacrificed to keep that team together and when it was all said and done, Robert Morton would sell him out for 15 cents. Is that 1986 money or today? He said that he wants Kerry to learn from the mistakes Ricky made and he knows Kerry Morton will be a future NWA Champion.
Does this prove once and for all The Midnight Express were the superior team vs. The Rock N' Roll Express. Why, I say it does. The MX never turned on each other!
NWA Champion Alex Misery cut a promo about facing Daisy Kill next week.
Hammerstone vs. Richard Adonis
It's all Hammerstone power early. Adonis eventually finds his rhythm, as he tries to slow the pace and targets Hammerstone with some effective joint manipulation and mat wrestling, trying to cut down Hammerstone's power moves. Hammerstone roars back to life, overwhelming Adonis with a barrage of power offense, including a thunderous belly-to-belly suplex that sends him flying across the ring. Tim Storm said that when your brain rattles around inside your skull, it changes life. I would assume that is correct. Hammerstone nailed the Nightmare Pendulum and scored the pin.

Paige Collett cut a promo about her girly, Sirena Veil and Alice Crowley, challenging for the NWA Women's Tag Team Championships tonight.
The latest Carson Drake Experience episode features King Trevor Murdoch and his Royal Court. They will face Big Strong Mims and The Light in a few weeks. Murdoch said it would be a glorious exhibition. They will get the opportunity to display their skill and wit.
Tiffany Nieves and friends cut a promo previewing her title defense next week. Nieves promised the NWA is TVMA.
Eddie Grayson & Jack Valor.were cutting a promo about a future match when NWA Champion Thrillbilly Silas Mason walked in and stopped them. He said he was hunting Mortons and that they have a yellow streak a mile long down their back. He said when he gets to Atlanta, he's going to get Kerry.
NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions Pretty Empowered (Kylie and Kenzie Paige, with their father Tommy Henry) vs. Sirena Veil and Alice Crowley (with Paige Collett)
Kenzie Paige barely has a chance to start before Kylie tags herself in and comes out firing, teasing continued issues between the sisters. Crowley quickly brings in Missa Kate Veil, and the challengers begin to seize control before they go to commercial. When they return, Kylie is getting worked over by the challengers. Veil plants her with a Michinoku Driver for a two count. Crowley and Veil methodically isolate the younger Paige sister for a long time. After a miscommunication, Kylie escapes and make the hot tag to Kenzie. Kenzie cleans house with a flurry of offensive maneuvers. She piledrives Crowleyon Veil, who was down on the mat, for a two count. Kenzie follows up with a nice Kenzie Cutter, but before she can capitalize, Kylie tags herself back in and scores the pin.
Your winner and still NWA Women's Tag Team Champions, Pretty Empowered!
Kenzie was not happy about this. Their dad entered the ring questioning, but Kylie slapped him and walked off.
