GCW Rude Awakening is coming from First Avenue in Minneapolis.

Ryan O’Neil vs. Alexander Ladd vs. Jay Lucas vs. Jimmy Lloyd vs. Terry Yaki vs. Anakin Murphy - Scramble Match
Ladd gets in everyone's face to start the match and is taken out by everyone. Murphy is worked over by the rest. Ryan hits a series of high-flying moves and then goes one-on-one with Murphy. Murphy drops him with a strike, and Lloyd takes his place, and he takes out Murphy. Ladd returns to the ring and gets eye pokes. Yaki fights off an eye poke, and Ladd grabs a rear chinlock.
This becomes a chain of sleeper holds. Lee gets a jawbreaker to break up the chain. Ryan returns to the ring and gets rid of Ladd and sends Yaki to the floor. From here, it’s time for dives. Ryan and Yaki return to the ring, and they fight in the corner, but Lloyd interrupts for an attempt at a pin. Lucas and Lloyd face off, and Lucas gets a destroyer. Ryan hits a DDT on Lucas, which leads to Murphy taking his place. Yaki gets a tijeras on Ladd for the pin and the win.
Winner: Terry Yaki
KJ Orso vs. Leedz Lucas
Orso starts by telling the crowd to shut up. He tells them it is a treat for them to see him in their city because he wasn’t supposed to be here today. He then says Buster and the Brain will get their asses beat and their titles taken. He then says he has signed a contract to beat Leedz Lewis’s ass in two minutes.
Leedz comes off the top, and Orso goes to the floor. Leedz dives onto him, rolls him into the ring, and then hits a 450 from the top for a two-count. Orso is able to stop Leedz with the top rope, then hits a piledriver on the apron. Orso rolls Leedz into the ring and stomps on him. He whips Leedz into the corner and hits a charge. Orso gets a big over-the-top armdrag and covers for two.
Leedz gets a series of shots, and Orso drags him down by his hair. Orso misses a Character Assassination, but Orso chops Leedz to the throat. Leedz gets a big kick, then a dropkick, and blocks Orso’s punches and fires back. Leedz gets a cazadora bulldog for two. Leedz gets a series of kicks and a springboard destroyer and tries a Sky Twister Press from the top, but Orso gets the knees up. Orso gets the Character Assassination and pulls Leedz up at two.
Orso goes under the ring and pulls out a chair. He wraps the chair around Leedz's head, and before he can do anything, Bustah and Brain come from the back. As Orso is yelling at them, Leedz gets a surprise roll-up for the pin and the win.
Winner: Leedz Lewis
We get a backstage segment where Brody Lee Jr. meets Avery Styles. Brody then comes out for the crowd to cheer.
Gary Jay vs. Vipress
Vipress gets a shotgun dropkick immediately and hammers Jay in the corner. Jay gets a right hand to drop Vipress, and she rolls to the floor. Jay tries for a kick from the apron, and Vipress sweeps the leg and then dives onto Jay on the floor. They brawl on the floor, and Jay puts a door between the ring and the barricade. Vipress gets a series of blows. They fight to the ramp, and Vipress gets a Death Valley Driver. They return to the ring, and Vipress gets a running back elbow and then a dropkick for two.
Vipress pulls out more plunder from under the ring and then stomps down Jay in the corner. She then sets up chairs, but Jay slams her onto them. He stomps her arm and chokes her with a chair. There is a door set up in the corner, and Jay keeps up the pressure on Vipress. Vipress is able to get a cutter.
They fight in the corner, and Vipress gets a clothesline for two. Jay steps on her hand and gets a right hand for two. They fight to the apron, and Vipress gets a Death Valley Driver through the door between the ring and the barricade. Vipress rolls him into the ring for two. Vipress nails Jay with the broken door. Jay grabs the door on the third swing and gets a clothesline for two.
They throw hands, and Vipress gets another Death Valley Driver, this time through the door in the corner. She hits another Death Valley Driver, followed by a piledriver for the pin and the win.
Winner: Vipress
Otis Cogar comes to the ring and beats down Vipress after the match. He is interrupted by 1 Called Manders.
Otis Cogar vs. 1 Called Manders
They throw hands immediately, and then Cogar charges into Manders and knocks him to the floor. Manders bashes a door over Cogar’s head. He then chokes Otis in the ropes with a piece of the door. He broke the piece of the door by bashing it into Cogar. Manders goes under the ring and pulls out another door. He sets up the door in the corner and beats back Cogar.
Cogar gets a shoulder tackle, knocking Manders through the door for a two-count. He bashes part of the door on Manders and then chokes Manders with part of the door. Cogar covers for two, and then Cogar gets a series of blows. Cogar pulls out another door and slides it into the ring. He grabs a chair and uses it on Manders.
Cogar sets the door up in the corner, and Manders is able to get a series of blows on Cogar. Cogar gets a side slam for two. They brawl with chops, strikes, and biting. Manders gets a slam through the door in the corner and covers for two. Manders runs into a headbutt. Manders gets a series of slaps, sending Cogar to the corner, and then gets the big lariat for a two-count. Manders grabs a chair and tosses it to Cogar and hits a lariat for two.
Manders grabs another chair and bashes Cogar’s back with it. He nails Cogar in the chest with the chair. Manders goes to the top, and Cogar nails him twice with a chair. Manders is left in the tree of woe, and Cogar slams the chair into him. Cogar hits a moonsault from the top for the pin and the win.
Winner: Otis Cogar
Cogar continues the beatdown after the match, and Vipress rescues Manders with a cutter. Manders hits Cogar with a lariat.
Marcus Mathers vs. Avery Styles
They go immediately to waistlocks and leg picks, and they break with neither getting an advantage. They lock up and go around the ring, collar and elbow, and they break with Mathers giving him friendly chest slaps. They run the ropes, and Avery gets a dropkick. Mathers goes to the floor, and Avery dives onto him. Avery gets a baseball slide on the apron and then lays in blows on Mathers.
They brawl around the ring, and when Avery goes for the Phenomenal Forearm off the barricade, Mathers nails him in midair. They fight onto the ramp and up to the stage. Avery then gets the Phenomenal Forearm from the stage onto Mathers on the ramp. He puts Mathers into the ring and gets a Northern Lights suplex with a bridge for two. Avery gets chops in the corners. Mathers gets a charging shoulder in the corner and then suplexes him into the turnbuckles. Mathers gets a snapmare and finishes with a leaping kick for two.
Mathers gets a hard chop in the middle of the ring. They start trading chops, and Mathers follows with a slam into an elbow drop. Mathers gets a German suplex and yells at Avery. Mathers gets another German suplex. Avery fights out of the suplex and tries for one of his own. They go back and forth, and Avery finally gets the suplex on Mathers. Avery lays in right hands and then an elbow strike. Avery gets a leaping splash and follows with a Fameasser. Avery gets another leaping forearm for two.
Mathers shoves Avery to the corner, and Avery gets a back elbow. Mathers gets a stunner and gets a Blue Thunder Bomb for two. Mathers beats Avery down and then pulls him up and throws blows. Mathers goes for a powerbomb, but Avery makes it a Code Red for two. Avery gets a moonsault into a DDT from the corner for two as Mathers gets a foot on the ropes. Avery gets a series of elbow blows to the back of Mathers’ head. He then gets a series of right hands followed by an enzuigiri. Mathers catches Avery off the ropes and gets a Death Valley Driver for two.
Mathers gets a slam and goes to the top. Avery joins him there and gets a hurricanrana, leaping onto Mathers’ shoulders. Mathers is able to reverse it into a Styles Clash for two. Mathers lays in a nasty chop and then kicks Avery down. Mathers chops Avery down and yells at Avery to show him something. They then start throwing hands, and Avery gets a Pelé kick and hits the Styles Clash for two.
They are both down and slow to get up. Avery is up first, and he lays in strikes and kicks. Avery goes to the top, and Mathers hits the ropes. Mathers tries for an attack, and Avery turns it into a back body drop. Mathers gets a Bozo Buster and then goes to the top and hits a 450 splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Marcus Mathers
A different match than the ones that came before, and Avery Styles (AJ’s son) looks great in the ring with Mathers.
Mathers grabs a mic and pulls up Avery. He tells Avery that his dad was a dream match of his, and this match meant as much as that would have. He then says Avery is a future WrestleMania main eventer.
Darin Corbin vs. Shotzi Blackheart
Corbin is from Robbinsdale, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis. He has a mic, and the crowd isn't interested in what he has to say. He asks how many people are here to see his ass get kicked. He says his opponent isn’t here because he was scared he would shove his pizza cutter up his ass, and no man has the balls to fight him. Well, Shotzi Blackheart is no man. Shotzi has a picture of Lio Rush with her and is wearing a Lio Rush shirt.s
Corbin is able to grab her from behind for a slam. Shotzi crawls back to the picture and gets an upkick on Corbin. She then hits a Tiger Feint Kick. She gets a flying crossbody off the top for two. She then puts on a camel clutch, and Corbin gets to his feet and backs her into the corner. Corbin lays in stomps and a big punch to the midsection. Shotzi keeps crawling back to the picture of Rush. Corbin grabs her hand and stomps on it.
He gets a slam and then stomps her midsection. He puts on a Figure Four, but Shotzi kicks him off. She charges at him, but he holds up the picture, and she stops. He pulls her out of the ring and slams her on the apron. Corbin gets a snap suplex for two. Corbin plays to the jeers of the crowd. Shotzi gets a dropkick to his back and then lays in chops in the corner. Shotzi gets a side headlock takeover, and Corbin goes to the eyes.
He chokes Shotzi with his shirt, releasing at four. Corbin gets a backbreaker after mocking someone’s XFL shirt in the crowd. Corbin goes to the top and misses a moonsault as Shotzi rolls inward into a ball. Corbin taps her to see if she is OK, and she stands up, black ooze coming from her mouth. She gets a series of kicks, a suplex into the corner, and then a cannonball in the corner. Corbin rolls to the floor, and Shotzi dives onto him.
She rolls him into the ring and covers for two. Corbin shoves Shotzi into the corner and hits a End of Days for two. Corbin gets a cutter and then gets End of Days for two. Shotzi is able to recover and hits Sliced Bread for two. She goes to the top, and Corbin holds up the picture of Rush to stop her. She takes it from him, and he knocks her off the top. He then joins her on top, and she smacks him with the picture. He drops to the mat, and she hits a senton for the pin and the win.
Winner: Shotzi Blackheart
Bustah and the Brain (Alec Price & Jordan Oliver) (GCW Tag Team Champions) vs. Janelasus (Joey Janela & Megan Bayne)
Joey and Oliver start the match and quickly go to waistlocks and headlocks. Oliver picks the leg, and Joey is able to escape. They lock up and move to mat work and then run the ropes. Joey gets a roll-up for two. They run the ropes again, and Oliver stops Joey. Oliver is able to get a leaping attack as Joey tries for a waistlock.
Bayne is tagged in, and they lock up. Oliver gets a side headlock, and Bayne fights free. Bayne gets a shoulder tackle. She gets a series of shoulder thrusts in the corner and then chops him. Joey is tagged in, and Bayne gets a full nelson suplex, and Joey is tossed at Oliver for two. Price tags in, and they double-team Joey. Price gets a one-count. They work over Joey with quick tags.
Bayne finally is tagged in and runs wild, ending by suplexing Oliver and Price at the same time. Price clotheslines Joey on the apron, and they double-team Bayne, covering for two. Price gets a snap suplex on Bayne for two. Oliver tags in and gets a back elbow for two. Bayne is whipped hard to the corner. Oliver gets a Boston Crab. Bayne is unable to get a tag as she gets worked over by Oliver and Price with quick tags.
Bayne rolls out of the way of a springboard frog splash and gets the tag to Joey, who cleans house. Price is able to get a backslide on Joey for two. They go back and forth, and Price gets a lariat off the ropes for two. Joey tags in Megan, and Oliver tags in as well. They trade blows, and Oliver gets a lariat, but Bayne pops right back up. Oliver gets a series of slaps, and Bayne gets a T-Bone suplex.
Joey and Price are tagged in, and they throw hands in the middle of the ring. Joey ends it with a lariat takedown. Oliver tries for an attack, but Joey drops him as well. Joey puts Price on his shoulders, but Oliver pulls him down. Price gets a superplex, and Oliver gets a frog splash for two. Joey tags in and gets a swinging DDT and holds on for a brainbuster for two. Oliver drops Joey with an Acid Kick. Bayne gets a double waistlock on Oliver and Price for a back suplex on both at the same time. Bayne puts Oliver on top for a hurricanrana, and Joey hits a double stomp from the top. Price gets a seated senton from the top on Joey.
Bayne and Price throw hands, and Oliver gets a superkick, and Joey does as well. Everyone is hitting big moves on an opponent until everyone is down. Price dives onto Bayne on the floor, and Janela gets hit with a double superkick and then a double-team spike suplex; Bayne breaks up the pin. Bayne gets a suplex on Oliver, and Price gets a superkick. He gets a second, misses a third, and Bayne tries for a piledriver, but Price rolls through. They go back and forth, and Bayne gets a tombstone for two.
Joey tags in and they set up for the Doomsday Device, but Price rolls forward so that Bayne misses off the top. Price holds on for the pin and the win.
Winners and still GCW Tag Team Champions: Bustah and the Brain
Atticus Cogar (GCW World Champion) vs. Devon Monroe
Devon Monroe is from Minneapolis.
They lock up, and Cogar forces them to the corner, and he breaks clean. They lock up again, and this time Monroe forces them to the corner and breaks clean. Cogar calls for one more, and then he kicks Monroe in the midsection. Cogar works over Monroe in the corner with a choke. They run the ropes, and Monroe gets a pair of armdrag, blocking hip tosses. Monroe gets an armdrag and follows with a one-legged dropkick. Monroe gets a leaping punch in the corner. Monroe tries to get his version of chocolate kisses in the corner, and Cogar tosses him to the floor.
Cogar grabs plunder from under the ring. Cogar runs Monroe into the guardrail. Cogar drops Monroe on top of the guardrail. Monroe is rolled into the ring, and Cogar sets up a chair and sits, waiting for Monroe to recover. When Monroe charges, Cogar gets a drop toe hold into the chair and follows with a suplex for two.
Cogar gets a rear chinlock. Cogar fishhooks the mouth and releases at four. Cogar then grabs a chair and waffles Monroe’s back with it for two. Monroe gets a sunset flip. He knocks Cogar into the corner and gets a series of running knees and then a leaping clothesline. He leaps over Cogar, who gets a shotgun dropkick for two.
Cogar pulls out a pack of skewers and then gets a catapult into the bottom turnbuckle. Cogar hangs up Monroe in the ropes and dropkicks him. Cogar runs into a back elbow, a big boot. Monroe gets a running clothesline and then a facebuster and a spinning punch. He gets an enzuigiri out of the corner and gets a high crossbody out of the corner for two. Monroe grabs a chair and sets it up. Monroe then goes under the ring and pulls out a door to slide into the ring. Monroe sets the door on a chair and lays Cogar on it. Cogar gets up and hits Monroe with the door as Monroe is on top.
Cogar sets up the door in the corner, and they go back and forth on top. Cogar pushes off and sets up the door again. Monroe gets a sunset bomb from the top through the door, and both men are down. Monroe covers for two. Cogar is able to grab Monroe off the second rope and slams him into a chair for two. He then kicks a chair into Monroe’s face for two.
There is an interruption to the feed for an upcoming show.
Cogar grabs his skewers, and Monroe stops him from attacking him with them. Monroe gets a camel clutch, and Cogar powers out of it, and Monroe gets a snapmare for two. Monroe gets a poisonrana. Cogar gets a DDT for two. Cogar gets a camel clutch of his own and bites Monroe’s head. Cogar gives up the hold to jam skewers into Monroe’s head and grabs the camel clutch again. Monroe fights free and then hits a spinning DDT for two.
Monroe pulls out the skewers and goes for a Code Red, but Cogar shrugs it off and hits a Brain Hemorrhage DDT for the pin and the win.
Winner and still GCW World Champion: Atticus Cogar
Cogar says he is sick of hometown heroes thinking they can challenge him. He then says he should have an open challenge at the Homecoming show. He then says that there have been interruptions in his matches and he will explain it. He says he knows Joseph Sawyer is behind them, and that he is in Minnesota. He says if Sawyer wants the GCW title, he needs to come out and tell him.
Frank The Clown comes to the ring and tells people they are about to witness history. FTC says he respects Cogar. He says it is time for FTCGCW, and he says that he is challenging at Homecoming, and Cogar hits him with the Brain Hemorrhage DDT. The lights go out, and when they come back on, Joseph Sawyer is in the ring, and he gives Cogar a Sister Abigail, and we are desperately out of time.
