Former ECW World Champion Mikey Whipwreck appeared at The Gathering in Charlotte, NC over the weekend.
Whipwreck, who has lost considerable weight, underwent surgeries on each of his knees to repair damage to the meniscus in each one and also had surgery on his elbow to clear up issues with that as well.
Whipwreck is feeling considerably better than he has in years, but was steadfast that he has zero interest in returning to the ring and performing. Instead, he's concentrating on his family and has undergone the surgeries to improve his quality of life.
While at The Gathering, Whipwreck had a massive line of fans waiting for professional photo-ops with him and took part in an ECW panel with Steve Corino, Shane Douglas and Francine.
