1 - Satoshi Kojima and Yuya Uemura vs. Taisei Nakahara and Toru Yano
Uemura forces Nakahara to submit to an arm submission.
2 - Tatsuya Matsumoto and Aaron Wolf vs. Gedo and OSKAR
OSKAR forces Matsumoto to tap out to a Nightmare Sleeper.
3 - Jakob Austin Young and HENARE vs. Dick Togo and Ren Narita
Narita forces Young to tap out to a knee bar.
After the match, Narita and Togo chokes out HENARE with a wire and hit his right knee with a chair.
4 - Daiki Nagai and Drilla Moloney vs. Zane Jay and Callum Newman
Moloney pins Jay after a superkick.
Moloney is using this new finisher which is a good thing. The Drilla Killa should only be used in big matches or when it means something.
G1 Climax 36 A Block Matches:
5 - Hirooki Goto vs. Great O-Khan
O-Khan tried to use chairs multiple times in the match. When Goto got the chair, O-Khan dropped to his knees begged. Goto threw the chair aside and O-Khan punched him in the groin. O-KHan hits an Eliminator and gets the pin.
Great O-Khan has 4 points.
Hirooki Goto has 4 points.
After the match, O-Khan blasts a young lion with a chair and hits Goto in the head with same chair.
This all cements that O-Khan and the United Empire are true heels. This will lead to an eventual confrontation between Will Ospreay and United Empire, whenever he decides to return to New Japan.
6 - Jake Lee vs. SANADA
Lee ties up SANADA's arm in the guardrail and hits running boot to the arm. Lee focuses his attacks on SANADA's arm. SANADA goes for the Paradise Lock, but Lee reverses into a double arm submission. SANADA with a rope break. SANADA hits a Magic Screw. SANADA applies a Dragon Sleeper. SANADA misses a moonsault and Lee hits a Giant Killing Knee. SANADA with a Shining Wizard. Lee with an ankle lock. SANADA escapes but Lee locks in a front face choke. Rope break. SANADA dropkicks the knee and hits another Shining Wizard. SANADA hits a moonsault, but only a two count. Lee hits a brainbuster. They fight to the floor. SANADA hits a Magic Screw on the floor. SANADA ties Lee to the guardrail. SANADA get back in the ring. Lee is counted out.
SANADA has 4 points.
Jake Lee has 4 points.
7 - Konosuke Takeshita vs. Boltin Oleg
Good stiff match. Both men trade elbows. Takeshita hits a hard rolling elbow. Oleg hits a powerbomb. Two count. Oleg goes for the Kamikaze but Takeshita blocks it and hits a Shining Wizard. Oleg absorbs one Power Drive Knee. Takeshita hits a second Power Drive Knee and follows with Raging Fire.
Takeshita pins Oleg.
Konosuke Takeshita has 6 points.
Boltin Oleg has 4 points.
8 - Yuto-Ice vs. Ryohei Oiwa
Yuto's neck and shoulders are taped up. Oiwa has his ribs taped.
They start out brawling. They fight to the floor. They fought back to the ring. They pounded the hell out of each other. Oiwa applied a Dragon Sleeper. Yuto gets to the ropes. Oiwa rips off the tape and hits two Tenzan Suplexes. Oiwa with a Lariat. Two count. Yuto punches Oiwa and kicks him in the head. Oiwa with a Sleeper. They trade strikes. Oiwa hits The Grip. Yuto kicks out. Oiwa hits The Grip in the turnbuckle. They trade strikes and reversals. Yuto hits Cruella. Yuto pins Oiwa.
Yuto-Ice has 4 points.
Ryohei Oiwa has 4 points.
9 - Yota Tsuji vs. Shingo Takagi
Another good stiff match. Takagi hit a powerbomb on the floor, which stunned Tsuji. Tsuji beats the count back in the ring. Takagi hits a superplex for a two count. Tsuji comes back with knee strike and suplex into a sit-down powerbomb. Two count. Takagi hits Made in Japan. Two count. Takagi goes for a Gene Blaster, but Tsuji avoids it and hits a Made in Japan. Takagi kicks out. Tsuji with a Pumping Bomber. Two count. Tsuji applies a Boston Crab. Tsuji lets go of the hold and hits a curb stomp. Tsuji goes for a Gene Blaster but Takagi hits a Pumping Bomber. They trade strikes and elbows. Takagi with two suplexes and a Pumping Bomber. Tsuji hits a German Suplex and a Gene Blaster. But Tsuji cannot make the pin. Tsuji goes for a Fire Blaster but reverses into a neck breaker. More strikes. Tsuji with a Gene Blaster and a Blue Thunder Bomb. Two count. Takagi hits a running elbow to the back of the head. More strikes. Takagi hits the Burning Dragon. Two count. Tsuji hits a Fire Blaster out of nowhere. Tsuji pins Takagi.
