With a lot of speculation about Bayley's future as it is believed her WWE deal expires later this year, she was beaten down by Lyra Valkyria and long-time friend Mercedes Mone has been making social media posts teasing the idea of the pair reviving their classic NXT feud in AEW, WWE removed Bayley from advertising for next weekend's Summerslam tryouts in Minneapolis.
In Bayley's place, Ivy Nile is now featured.
While certainly this doesn't confirm anything, the change was enough to raise curiosity due to its timing.
PWInsider.com broke that Bayley had signed a new deal with WWE back in the summer of 2023. She has been with the company since signing a developmental deal in December 2012.
