by Pico

Hulk Hogan and Brooke were introduced.  They spoke about Season 3 of Hogan Knows Best premiering on Sunday.  Hulk was asked what it was like to have cameras following you around, he stated he's use to being in the limelight, but having someone taping you as you're waking up is a different experience.  Brooke said she doesn't like being filmed without her make-up.  She also spoke about Josh, a camera man who walked in on her three times as she was changing without knocking.

They mentioned her FHM cover.  She was asked what athlete she would date, she mentioned some guy named Vince from the Tampa Bay Lighting.  They mentioned how she became a good luck charm for that team, how every time she sang the national anthem at there home games they would win, and ended up winning the Stanley Cup.

They moved on to a clip of a NASCAR driver who went crazy, and dropkicked someone else's car, Hulk said that guy has a future in WWE.

He was asked if would wrestle again, he said he spoke to Vince two days ago about being at Wrestlemania 23, the 20 year anniversary of him slamming Andre, so there might be a chance of him wrestling again.

The host asked who would win a steel cage match between Shaq, TO, A-Rod, and Tony Stewart, they both said Shaq.

Finally, they asked Brooke what has she done behind Hulk's back without him knowing, she said the FHM cover, she had told him that she was asked to do it, he was at Monday Night Raw and said they'd talk about it when he got home, instead she went on and did it without him saying yes, Hulk then said "now there's no going back to Disney".

They plugged Hogan Knows Best on Sunday, and Brooke's CD dropping on Tuesday.

FORMER WWF STAR CPL. KIRCHNER PASSES AWAY
by Mike Johnson

World Wrestling Entertainment announced this afternoon that former WWF star Cpl. Kirchner (Thomas Spear), passed away of natural causes Sunday in his home in White Marsh, Maryland.

Kirchner had a short run in WWF from 1985 to 1987, replacing Sgt. Slaughter as a patriotic character for the company. He later had a long run in Japan for different companies, including FMW and IWA, working under a mask as Leatherface (and was also billed as Super Leather).

Several years ago, his mother, Genevieve O'Callaghan wrote a fictional book "Corporal Punishment" which was inspired by events in Kirchner's career.

On behalf of everyone at PWInsider.com, I'd like to express our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Kirchner.

As we noted several weeks ago in the PWInsider.com Elite section, WWE has instituted a working agreement between developmental territories Ohio Valley Wrestling and Deep South Wrestling, with the idea that the talents can share the wealth of those heading the respective companies and also have to travel loops like an old territory would, to give them road time and experience working against different talents in different areas. This is the first of many overhauls being made to the developmental system.

WWE champion John Cena recently filmed a commercial for Subway sandwiches.

Mike Informer sent along the following press release, which is the latest chapter in the ongoing legal battle between game company THQ and WWE.  Essentially, this was just THQ making public that WWE has now officially filed a lawsuit against THQ for alleged improper sales of WWE video games in Asia.  Here is the press release:

AGOURA HILLS, Calif., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- THQ Inc. (Nasdaq: THQI) and THQ/JAKKS Pacific LLC (the "LLC") today announced that a lawsuit was filed on October 12, 2006 in Connecticut state court by World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. against THQ and the LLC, involving a claim previously reported in Securities and Exchange Commission filings concerning allegedly improper sales of WWE video games in Japan and other countries in Asia. The lawsuit seeks, among other things, a declaration that the WWE is entitled to terminate the video game license and monetary damages. THQ and the LLC believe the lawsuit is without merit and we intend to defend ourselves vigorously.
