Why are so many outraged that Kenny Omega won the AEW World Championship? He’s a part timer who took a title from a full time talent.
I have no idea why. Anyone who is outraged needs to take a chill pill and understand that business is about drawing money. Kenny vs. Will Ospreay in The UK will sell more tickets than MJF vs. Ospreay. Plus, if Will wins then he and MJF can have a program here in the US. It’s not like Omega isn’t worthy of holding the Title and frankly after all he has come back from I am happy for him to reach the pinnacle again.
Doesn’t CM Punk winning the title on Raw prove more than ever that he has major heat with WWE and that he’s about to give notice and return to AEW?
Ah, Uncle Dave and his army of dimwits. They never cease to amaze me with the stupid things that they say.
I thought I heard a little while back that Cody Rhodes is turning heel. Is that still the plan? Or did it change? Do you know?
I never heard that. I think it would be stupid to turn him heel at this juncture. He’s the purest babyface that the company has.
Any idea when Randy Orton is coming back?
As we reported at the time, we were told that Orton went into his WrestleMania match with Cody Rhodes nursing an injured back. I have been told that is why he has been out of action since then. I have no update on his condition as none has been provided. He’s expected to return at some point. It would be interesting if that point was at SummerSlam during the Rhodes-CM Punk match.
