Dave Herro's Great Lakes Championship Wrestling will be returning to Milwaukee next year for the 2027 Crusherfest. They present the annual festival bi-annually, located near where the city's Crusher statue is situated. There are usually live wrestling events and Q&As. Beyond the wrestling events, the two-day festival features Mr. Saloon Competition. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in events like keg holding, trivia, throw-the-drunk, sausage eating, and beer drinking, all in the pursuit of being crowned Crusherfest's Mr. Saloon. The event also features food trucks, vendors and more. Crusherfest has been held regularly in Milwaukee since 2019, coinciding with the city unveiling the statue honoring the former AWA World Champion, Reggie "The Crusher" Lisowski.
Speaking of the AWA:
TMart Promotions has released an updated schedule for its annual Gathering 7 convention, which will take place July 22-26, 2026 at the Hilton University Place in Charlotte, North Carolina. The multi-day fan convention will feature autograph sessions, Q&A events, vendor appearances, special parties, an awards banquet, live wrestling, and a lineup of wrestling legends from multiple eras.
