I was reading a story on the WCW Tag Team championships and a reference was made to the Fabulous Freebirds having negative days on their championship run. Can you explain that?
In 1991, The Freebirds defeated Doom for the WCW Tag Team championships. They held the belts for several days technically, but in actuality, had already lost the belts to the Steiners as THAT title loss was taped days before the Freebirds had ever won the championships.
If Jushin Liger is retired, why is he doing convention appearances?
To get a payday.
Why didn't Vince offer a wrestling contract to Sting aka Steve Borden when the UWF was going/gone out of business? After all Vince had raided The UWF for many of his newest stars Ted Dibiase,Hacksaw Duggan,etc.
Sting was signed to a deal with Jim Crockett immediately and quite frankly, he wasn't a star at that point, so he wouldn't have popped up on the WWF's radar. He had just turned babyface but was some time away from the first Clash of the Champions making him a star for life. Plus, WWF wasn't offering guaranteed money at that point while Turner Broadcasting did. If the name of the game is to make as much money as possible, you'd certainly take that money if you were him.
I was at Gamespot and saw a used AAA video game. Is this the same company WWE later bought?
Yes, same company.
Why did WWE turn Maxxine heel?
They obviously wanted to take her in a new direction and saw something in her.
With CM Punk returning, do you think AJ Lee is far behind?
I don't think his run has anything to do with hers. Lee has a lot of other irons in the fire, so she'll fit WWE around that schedule when it makes the most sense for all parties.
