Spotlight Match: Rain Conway vs Jermaine Marbury (w/ Benny the Basketball)
The crowd right under Rain’s skin with these chants. Marbury shines early until Rain takes over. The D-Fence chant brings him back around. Marbury with the Kobe connects and a top rope cross body gets the three! Rain got no game!
Match 1: The Bobby Orlando Gauntlet
Max Caster is making Bobby go through this to get the right to fight for his music rights. Caster comes down with Colton Charles & GKM, the first two opponents. Bobby has Caster’s trademark plaque. Caster hints at the third opponent…maybe it’s Max himself…we’ll see.
Round 1: vs GKM
GKM misses a body splash and nearly gets rolled up in 5 seconds. Orlando on a roll early…but he’s forced to deal with outside distractions and GKM takes over. Really good, fast paced opening round. Bobby finally stuns GKM with a kick and hits a powerslam for the three!
Round 2: vs Colton Charles
Charles IMMEDIATELY attacks and starts throwing Bobby corner to corner. Orlando manages to survive the assault, designed to break him down, and hits a sick trick cutter for the three! Bobby put both these guys down in under three minutes EACH.
Max says that Bobby did the impossible. But he won’t get past his third opponent. Max directs Bobby to the aisle…and immediately blindsides Orlando with a mic shot to the back of the head. Max IS the third opponent.
Round 3: vs Max Caster
Max takes this slow as he pummels Bobby with lariats and stomps and takes in the jeers of the crowd. Bobby throwing hands but Colton definitely worked those arms a bit. Not a lot of mustard left in those punches. Max keeps on kicking and slamming Bobby…but it’s never enough. Orlando finally flips out of a DVD! Max sent to the floor! Big dive over the top! He wants that sick trick cutter again but Max catches him with an iconoclasm and a powerbomb. Max hits the mic drop elbow. He’s got this…Bobby with a crucifix roll up…Bobby gets the three!!!! Orlando wins!
Max starts beating on Bobby after the bell. He hits a second rope stomp to that weakened arm. He beats it with his silver chain. Max is unhinged and finally leaves the refs to tend to a battered Bobby Orlando. But maybe Bobby just got his song back?
Apparently Traevon Jordan is sick and the Stetson Ranch demanded to have the tag title match tonight regardless. So Jaelyn Brandyn has found a partner. It’s Shooter Boy Anthony Vecchio!
Match 2: The Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & Brian Morris) vs Jaelyn Brandyn & Anthony Vecchio (For the Wrestling Open Tag Team Championships)
The Ranch doesn’t love this. Vecchio is a former Open tag champ. Vecchio drops Morris quickly and pummels him. Stetson tries to distract but ends up being chased around the ring. None of this is working. Stetson keeps trying his bs but Vecchio knows it WELL and has answers for everything. Vecchio is looking like a million bucks right now. Morris finally elbows free from Brandyn and gets Stetson in there. Steve is ALSO faring poorly as Brandyn counters all his big stuff. Stetson tries to get out of there but Morris misses the tag and gets launched in for more pain. Stetson FINALLY manages to intercept Jaelyn with a kick and the ranch starts to take over. Stetson and Morris with quick tags, try to keep Jaelyn grounded and away from the tag. The ranch messes up, hitting a midnight special but Stetson wasn’t the legal man for the pin! Brandyn manages to hit a springboard lariat. He tries to get the pin but Stetson knocks Vecchio off the apron. Brandyn is caught off guard and Morris rolls him up for the three! Nooooooooooooooo!
Match 3: Kylie Alexa vs Liviyah
Liviyah wants to get one back on Kylie after last week’s attack. She hits the ring and they get right to brawling and rolling. they take it to the floor and Kylie eats a suplex. Alexa fighting back and posts Liv. Liv rages back and just lands vicious chops. They might get counted out with how hard this is going. They make it in, trading chops…Kylie with a stomp and a senton for two! Liv tries a TKO! Kick out! They are both going for it, putting in a hell of an effort. Side Russian! Crossface! Will Kylie tap? She rolls it up for two! Kylie catches her with a toss into the corner. Kylie just hits a boot and not the dropkick. This could be a mistake. Liv picks her up into a Samoan drop. Kylie uses ref Scott as a shield and blasts Liv with a boot and hits a spike piledriver! That should be it but Liv gets the rope at the last second! Kylie is furious and shoves ref Scott…HE DQ’S HER!!!! Kylie flips her lid and gets back to brawling with Liv until people runs from the back to pull them apart.
Liviyah says next time they are both in Cranston…it’s a STREET FIGHT! “You got it!” Screams Kylie. This was a blast.
Match 4: Bear Bronson(c) vs Bobby Casale (for the Wrestling Open Championship)
This is a HUGE opportunity for Casale, in his first Open championship match against the wildly popular Bear Bronson. Will he play the spoiler tonight or will the crowd’s prediction of “Bear’s gonna kill you” prove true? Bobby powers Bear into the corner and unloads a hard kick. This is the fight Bear wants and he gets right to throwing meat with Casale! Bear hits his seated senton and sends Casale to the floor. They brawl in the crowd! Bear comes charging in but Bobby catches hit with a forearm! Casale is being talked to by ref Scott….The Stetson Ranch comes out looking to do something evil…Casale stops them and sends them to the back! Bear might like the sportsmanship but that ain’t gonna stop this comeback. Casale avoids a slam to the apron and suplexes Bear back into the ring! He works that lower back…but Bear is still throwing bombs. Bear with an exploder! Charge into the corner! Casale runs into the black hole slam! Kick out! Bear selling his shoulder hard as he struggles to get into position on the buckles. Casale catches him up there and super plexes him down! Hard kicks from Casale and a German! Bobby powers out of the chokebomb! Bobby hits an AA! Bear out at one! He’s enraged! He escapes and Olympic slam and just clubs Bobby’s head off! Bear going for the Fire Thunder Driver…Bobby slips it…Olympic slam! Both guys down and struggle to get back into a brawling position. Casale throwing bombs right back but Bear starts eating them happily! Bobby can eat shots too! They fire back up and swing for the fences. Bear tries the discus lariat but Bobby connects with a head kick! He crawls for the pin but can’t make it in time! “I need to win this. I need this for my family” shouts Casale as he starts landing kick after kick into Bear’s chest. He rains forearms down and tries to choke the life out of Bronson. Bear finally rams Bobby into the corner….Casale tries to choke him from the top. Bear with a chokebomb off the top! Super Seated Senton!!!!!! Bobby is crushed! Bronson picks him up and and plants him with the Fire Thunder Driver for the three. This was FANTASTIC. They both lay out in the center as the crowd cheers for this one. Bear pulls Bobby up and they shake hands. The crowd continues to call for Bobby to leave the Ranch but it’s clear he has earned some respect from this crowd for the effort he put into the fight.
Main Event: Ichiban vs Dustin Waller vs Oxx Adams (with BRG) vs Corey Duke vs Eye Black Jack vs Bryce Donovan
Oh good, BRG gets to be out here. That will certainly not factor into anything that happens. Waller and Bryce tries to fire up Oxx to kill the other three…but Adams has his own ideas…let’s kill everyone! Jack saves Ichiban with a chop block and and manages to dump him out to the floor! Ichiban with a big dive puts Oxx to the ground! Waller follows with a somersault to the floor. He comes Duke with a moonsault! Duke goes for the doors! He sets one up on the corner and Bryce strikes! Duke counters him with a scissor kick. Here comes BRG. Oxx blindsides Duke and whips him everywhere but the door. Oxx baited into the corner post! Another scissor kick! BRG in the ring and attacks Duke directly. He sets up a door…Duke puts BRG through the door. Oxx back up and eliminates Duke by putting him through the other door.
Ichiban in with a chair but Oxx punches it into his face. Jack hits Oxx with the chair but it doesn’t faze him. Oxx wants another door. Ichiban tries to stop him but gets thrown off! Oxx sets up the classic door table and sets his eyes on EBJ. They head to the top. Jack gets Oxx into an electric chair! Ichiban blasts Oxx in the head with some lumber and Jack puts Oxx out of the match with an electric chair drop through the door!
Bryce attacks! Huge popup powerbomb to Jack! We got another door in the mix! As they fight over who is going through the door, Dustin Waller is clearly hiding out at ringside, mocking some of the children who are trying to call him out for being a coward. Waller finally gets in there and gets into a tug of war with I hi am over a door. Bryce Donovan settles it but choke slamming Eye Black Jack throw the door to get the elimination.
Waller and Bryce teaming up on Ichiban. They are having a great time of it. Ichiban still fighting back. Bryce and Waller hit a 3D! Bryce tries a “get the door” to Dustin but maybe was a little over exuberant with his shove. They both pick up Ichiban…Ichiban slips it and dropkicks Bryce through a door! We’re down to Ichiban and Waller!
Dustin comes running with some wood. Ichiban superkicks it in his face! He grabs that door part and puts Waller’s head through it. We’ve got one last door! Waller with a baseball slide and he wraps that piece of door around Ichiban’s skull. Dustin gets another door set up. They scramble with a bunch of near misses. Dusty hits the Lethal Injection. He knocks the door over, he doesn’t want to WIN. He wants to DESTROY Ichiban. Ichiban with a crossbody that sends them both to the floor! Ichiban grabs a chair. Waller intercepts it but stuns himself smacking the post! He atomic drops Dusty right on a chair! Round the world 111 off the post! Ichiban loading up on chairs! It’s time to end this! Dustin tries the Lethal injection again but Ichiban lands a destroyer! Ichi sets up the chairs and door. He lays Waller out in it. Ichiban heads to the top……Dustin crotches him on the top buckle! He sets up Ichi…Ichiban escapes and goes for a superplex….he lands a bunch of punches and looks like he going for a rana from the top…Dustin with a blatant low blow uppercut and slams Ichiban off the top to win the Opportunity Knocks Contract. You know he’s going to be looking for a measure of revenge after Bear Bronson used this same contract to win the Title Tournament last month.
