OBA MADE SENSE, SETH-ROMAN IS INTERESTING, BEING CAREFUL NOT TO PUSH OLDER TALENT AT THE EXPENSE OF YOUNGER WRESTLERS AND MORE

An earlier RAW, and I'll take it!

Overall, a really good show, I don't have any beefs, honestly.

1.  Oba/Brock;  Oba made his point plain & simple, he wants Brock, the title can wait.  For 99% of the roster, you'd likely say "That was dumb, go get the title", but with Oba, it's more like " Yeah, when he wants it, he's just taking it. "  I felt it was the best way to book themselves out of him winning a world title too soon.  You?

I have said for a while now that it would make sense for Oba to want to get revenge on Brock rather than go for the Title since Brock is at the end of his career so he has to take that opportunity now.  It made perfect sense to me.

2.  Seth challenging Roman;  This to me, was a great example of someone who's not really in the title picture making it seem like a must see match with one simple promo.  Everything Seth said was true, and even Roman agreed.  VERY well done, considering the limited build time they have.

I agree.  When Seth came out I was wondering how they would make this work.  They did a great job.  I still don’t like Seth beating Bron Breakker, but HHH is thinking about what has the best chance to sell the most tickets at SummerSlam.  My one concern is that if you keep relying on the older guys at the expense of the younger guys, it makes the job harder to get the fans to see the Breakkers of the world as equals of the older guys.

That said, how do you see them heating this up?  Do Roman and the boys go full heel and attack Seth and just make it (hopefully) that the fans have to boo them, or do you see this winding up a split crowd in Minnesota?

Roman seemed to accept that Seth was the bridge he hasn’t been able to cross.  I would think he approaches it pretty straight up to prove he can beat “little brother” on his own.

3.  Austin Theory announcing he and Breakker are getting a re-match next week;  I don't see them winning, but do you see this as a possible time to split the faction?  Not saying Theory and Breakker need to come to blows or one turns babyface, but they lose, and basically throw their hands up and say "screw this".

Theory sure seemed like a lost man on Monday.  Paul Heyman even blew him off.  Breakker is not part of a tag team and it’s way to soon to take the belts off of the Profits some something will happen next week.  Maybe Bronson Reed returns.

4.  They seem to be dropping hints that we'll get a multi-man IC Title match at SS.  If they do, is it time to give Chad Gable a singles title run, is it Rey Mysterio with one last title on his resume or does Ethan Page get to step up into a title?  What would be YOUR call, both from a booking standpoint and from the point of who you'd like to see take the title?

First off, I didn’t like having Rey beat Ethan Page on Monday.  It made no sense to me and took some steam off of Page.  But if they go with the multi-man match, I would love to see Gable win.  I have loved what the are doing with him and he deserves a run with the belt.

5.  I know the brand split is very loose at times, sometimes non-existent;  but do Bloodline members (and ex-members) just get to jump between shows as they please?   Jey is going to SD, Solo showed up on RAW again (which I loved, by the way.  Him smiling as he screws over his brothers is awesome).

They have definitely loosened the supposed rules of the brand split.  As long as it adds to stories, I won’t complain.
