I can't believe I'm in Red Hook for pro wrestling and it's NOT for Taz.

Tonight's show will be streaming live on MyAEW.com.  For those seeking to purchase a bundle of all of the first six upcoming PRODUCE events, PWInsider.com is happy to offer a special discount code - producePWInsider -  for the price of $50, down from the retail price of $90.

Dark Sheik, Emersyn Jayne & Gabby Forza vs. Janai Kai, Jordan Blade & Nixi XS

Gabby wanted her partners to wear their own gnome hats but Sheik wasn't interested.  NIxi grabbed the hat and threw it down to the mat in a sign of disrespect.

Janai and Forza started out with Forza using her strength to drill Kanai to the mat.  Blade and Jayne tagged in.  Jayne nailed a head scissor takedown for a rwo count.  Sheik and Nixi tagged in and battled.  Sheik controlled Nixi and tagged in Gabby, who nailed a big swing on XS with Sheik dropping a legdrop.  Team XS cut off Forza and worked her over as they tagged in and out.  Kai drilled her with a series of kicks.  Forza was drilled with a DDT for a two count.  Forza fought back and made the tag to Jayne, who cleaned house.  She went to the top but XS shoved her off to the floor. Forza nailed a Michinoku Driver on XS and scored the pin.

Your winners, Dark Sheik, Emersyn Jayne & Gabby Forza!

Veda interviewed the winners and said they made history winning the first ever match in PRODUCE.  They gave Dark Sheik's cat a shoutout.

Dominic Garrini vs. Oni King

King is from Brooklyn so he received a big reaction.  Garrini has been in MLW and is a regular with AIW.  They exchanged some stiff shots.  Garrini kicked King hard in the back.  King dared him to do it again but harder.   Garrini obliged several times.  King fired back with a hard chop and a big overhead throw suplex.  He charged with a leg lariat in the corner but was caught with a big back suplex and a DDT for a two count.  They began throwing bombs at each other.  Garrin nailed a big running knee but King took him down and began wailing away.  The referee ruled Garrini couldn't defend himself and ruled King the winner.

Your winner, Oni King!

The show is now live on MyAEW.com and I believe is the first live independent event on My AEW.com.

Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Darian Bengston

Back and forth chants for each.  Bengston had an awesome vignette with his dog before the match where he was reading Shakespeare to study for the match.  Some nice mat grappling early.  Bengston rope Zack and spanked him, which led to Zack taking him down and snapping his fingers.  Bengston came back, escaping out of head scissors and taking Sabre to the mat with a headlock.  Sabre came back with an armbar.  Bengston slipped out and snapped his ankle.  The crowd chanted for each.

Sabre came back to drill him with a kick and began tying him up and with holds before stomping him.   Bengston continued to battle back and worked over Sabre's arm.  Zack backed up and Bengston told him to get up.  He confidently battled Zack but was caught in an armbar before making it to the ropes.  Sabre nailed several European uppercuts.  Bengston would fire back with his own.  Sabre kicked him hard and began tying him up again before Darian made it to the ropes.

Bengston escaped a hold and took Sabre down.  He nailed Sabre with a running kick and snapped his neck.  Sabre responded in kind but went down as well, exhausted.  They battle back and forth.  Sabre used a backslide for a rwo count.  They go back and forth with reveesals and near falls.  Sabre snapped Bengston's arm.  He covered him with the Backlund Bridge and made the pinfall.

Your winner, Zack Sabre Jr.

An excellent opener with some awesome grappling, strikes and the type of pro wrestling I always enjoy.  Great way to kick off the broacast,  Bengston hung right in there with Sabre and the crowd atmosphere made it something special.

NYC chanted, "Both these guys" after the bout.

Veda Scott interviewed Zack Sabre Jr.  He can't guarantee when he'll be back in NYC but he'll be back in PRODUCE.

LaBron Kozone vs. Tracy Williams

They went back and forth until Kozone scored with a leaping elbow.  He tackled Williams in the corner and drilled him with shoulderblocks.  He missed one and Williams nailed him with a 619.  Williams hit a sliding kick to the outside and brought Kozone back into the ring.  Kozone  nailed an overhead throw suplex and scored a two count. Williams was tied up and they battled over  a suplex. Williams gained control and hit a back suplex.  He nailed a flying forearm in the corner but missed a charge.  They battled to the top where Williams grabbed a front facelock and rode Kozone down, then cinched in a crossface, trying to force the submission.  Kozone battled back and scored a near pinfall with a powerslam.  The crowd chanted back and forth for each.  They battled to their feet and fought back and forth with strikes.  Kozone scored with another suplex.  He nailed an over the knee backbreaker for a two count.  Williams surprised him with a backslide.  Kozone slipped out but was trapped in a pinfall combination and defeated.

Your winner, Tracy Williams!

Rich Swann vs. Man Like DeReiss with Julius Smokes

Electric entrances from both.  Live, it's very much a party atmosphere.

They had a dance-off, with even the referee getting involved.  When Smokes danced, he dropkicked Swann.  That allowed DeReiss to go on the offense and work over Rich early, nailing some near falls and a big suplex.  Swann was tossed to the floor, where he was hit with a kick through the ropes by DeReiss.  DeReiss drove Swann hard into the corner.  Smokes choked Swann while the referee was distracted.  The crowd chanted for a red card warning.  Swann made a comeback and nailed a series of punches and kicks.  He looked spectacular.  He went for a 450 splash but DeReiss rolled oiut of the way.  DeReiss caught him with a superkick.  Swann returned the favor.  DeReiss hit a big back suplex.  DeReiss slammed Swann for a two count.  DeReiss locked in a Sharpshooter but Swann escaped and used an inside cradle for a rwo count.  Swann made a comeback with a Lethal Injection for a two count.  Swann went to the top but Smokes distracted him so he was late on the Phoenix Splash.  DeReiss drilled him and scored the pin.

Your winner, Man Like DeReiss!

Another super strong match.  DeReiss was great here and Swann looked absolutely awesome.  Smokes hasn't missed a step and I don't know how AEW doesn't use him as part of Shane Taylor Promotions.  It just seems like a perfect match.

Veda interviewed DeReiss and Smokes after the bout.

We are having a musical performance by Abel Ferrera now!

Adam Priest & Tommy Billington vs. Cowboy Way (1 Called Manders & Thomas Shire)

Priest disrespected Shire's cowboy hat before the bell, establishing they were the heels I suppose.

They locked up with Priest grabbing a side headlock but Shire easily overpowering him.    Billington tagged in and hit a series of shoulderblocks, finally taking Shire down.  Manders tagged in and chopped him hard in the corner several times.  He missed a charge and was hit with a dropkick and a series of forearms by Billington.  Priest tagged in and they double-temed Manders.  Manders was beaten down for a long time including Priest nailing a running boot to the face and Billington choking him in the ropes.  Manders tried to fight out of the corner but was taken down.  Shire was nailed in the corner for good measure.
