TNA will begin their post-Slammiversary storylines this week when they tape episodes of Thursday Night Impact on Wednesday 7/1 and Thursday 7/2 in Albany, NY at The Broadview Center. The tapings will start the build to Lockdown in August, will kick off the tournament for the Knockouts TV Title and feature Nic Nemeth's first appearance as the new TNA Champion.
The company was very happy with how the event played out. Quite a few talents described it to PWInsider.com as an event "the company needed" and to a person, pretty much the locker room wanted to deliver and make a statement.
Road Dogg Brian James was backstage at the PPV. We are told he and the company are still ironing out a deal for him to come in.
We are told there were no major creative departures from what had been planned going into Slammiversary PPV following the creative team changes right before the show.
The new TNA Knockouts TV Championship belt was designed and constructed by ZBROS.
