Spotlight Match: Ryan O’Neill beat Georgio Lawrence
Rich Palladino is trying to start the show but Max Caster storms the ring. He says someone went into his bag in the locker room and stole his trademark. He starts accusing everyone of stealing it. Bobby Orlando in the balcony. Bob’s got the plaque! He wants a match next week to get his music rights back. He threatens to destroy the plaque. Caster says Bobby has to beat THREE PEOPLE next week just to get to him. DEAL says Orlando.
Match 1: Ichiban & Sammy Diaz vs The Verdict (Bryce Donovan & VSK)
The Verdict is announced as being sponsored by an anonymous benefactor. Mark Sterling is nowhere in sight so….who is he fooling? Ichi and Sammy dive right at them in the entryway and we’ve got a full brawl! Sammy gets wiped out but as the fight hits the ring, Ichi manages to start taking both his opponents down. It doesn’t last though. Numbers game, man. Ichiban takes a two on one beating until Diaz can recover and get the tag. Sammy almost gets it with a Styles Clash but a Hidden Blade from Bryce breaks up the pin! Donovan hit with a cutter! Ichiban off the top with a Frogsplash to Bryce for two! Bryce avoids a double superplex…Sammy tries a sunset flip but Bryce sits into the pin and Vinny reaches through the ropes to give him leverage and steals the three! Noooo!
Match 2: Nessa Ferrari vs Liviyah
Nessa getting all the boos as she bullies Liviyah. It’s a good match as Liv keeps trying to rally back. As she gets on a roll, big series of lariats in the corner. Liv has her up in a fireman’s carry but here come Kylie Alexa to ringside. The distraction lets Nessa hit some kind of tornado ddt and get the pin.
Kylie puts a cherry on top with that killer basement dropkick in the corner and grabs the mic to tell us that her goal is to take her away from Cranston for good
Match 3: Nick Battee vs Jermaine Marbury (w/ Benny the Basketball)
Nick wants Jermaine to take the Pledge of Batteegence. Marbury is just here to fight this loudmouth, especially after getting robbed of the win when these two clashed a couple weeks back. This is fun. Nick showing off as he does but the crowd is waiting for Jermaine to hit that Kobe and go for the kill. Nick tries to steal the pin again with some feet on the ropes….Ref Scott catches him in the act, Marbury rolls him up and puts his feet on the ropes. Scott misses that and counts the three! The series is evened up! Battee IS FURIOUS but we clearly need to do this again. He’s easily hateable but I’m high on Battee.
It’s time for the contract signing between Bobby Casale and Bear Bronson! Bronson says it plain: LEAVE THE RANCH. Casale has been thinking hard about it but WHY hasn’t he left? It’s because Create A Pro just took his money and showed him how to wrestle. As for Stetson? Steve BELIEVED in him. Stetson gave him money. Bobby wants to get married, get a house, have a family. Does he like the Ranch? Not really. But he likes the financial stability he has with them for his future. Bronson is stunned and admits this is a SOLID answer. “You are looking at the final boss of guys who love their wife”. Bronson respects it immensely. He apologizes for never saying he believed in Bobby. He didn’t think Casale needed it. But he does believe in Bobby and if he wants the Open title…Bear invites him to give it his best shot. This is an EXCELLENT promo segment. The contract is signed and we are having a war next week!
And in addition to THIS war….next week, we have the return of the Open Door War!
Wonderboy Brian Morris has been told the Ranch should defend their tag titles next week. Morris says no other team is on their level so he’s doing an open challenge tonight and if he gets beat…they get a title shot! Who steps up? JAELYN BRANDYN!!!
Match 4: Wonderboy Brian Morris vs Jaelyn Brandyn
Worcester has been calling Waves & Curls the tag team aces for weeks. This could set up a heck of a match for next week! Jaelyn rides the energy early but Morris takes a cheap shot and tries to grind the life out of Brandyn. He starts hitting moves and pulling the pin with a ton of unearned confidence. And out of the blue? Jaelyn snatches him to the mat with a jackknife pin and gets the three! Morris is beside himself!!!
Match 5: Oxx Adams (w/ BRG) vs Dutch
These two big men clashed in the Open Rumble a few weeks back. Dutch sent Oxx over the top. Adams wants revenge. It’s Meat O’Clock in Cranston. We have long wondered about the true strength of the noisy ring of Rhode Island…Dutch and Oxx grapple heavily and chop the life out of each other! This is good stuff…and then BRG distracts everyone and Oxx hits a blindside lariat. Adams tries to beat the life out of Dutch but he gets his ears clapped. Oxx tries to fight it off but he runs right into a black hole slam. BRG hits the ring and stomps the pin to cause the DQ. And of course, Dutch wins…but he is getting beaten down by Oxx and Brett and is left laying as the crowd boos this hard.
Main Event: Kylon King vs Corey Duke (Chairs are Legal)
Kylon can’t stop swinging steel at Duke so let’s make it legal and remove all doubt. Duke slides right in and clotheslines King to the floor! They battle through the crowd! Corey hits a good dive but Kylon’s starts unloading chops I can use as sonar. They get it back in the ring and Duke flies off the top but lands into a northern lights. Sick spot. No chairs so far. As if Kyle heard me, here comes the first chair. Duke ducks the swing and dropkicks the steel into King’s face! He winds up and BLASTS Kylon! Duke grabs more chairs! Like…a lot more chairs. But as he takes the time to load the ring, Kylon recovers and catches him with a Hangman’s DDT right into the metal. Kylon lands some of the loudest damn chairs to the back I’ve ever heard. He set up a chair in the buckles but eats it! Duke tries the same and gets brained too. They are both out in the center of a pile of scrap. Back to the feet, chair duel! Kylon hurts his fingies! Duke sets up a chair but King powerbombs him into it! Yiiiiiikes! This is awesome, says Cranston! Kylon sets up a four square…he wants a plex into it but Kylon gets stunned into the chairs. It’s a trap! Kylon blasts Duke coming back in! Suicide chair torpedo! Suuuuuuperplex into the chairs!!!!! Kylon covers Corey confidently….KICK OUT! King sets up Duke in another chair….tripped into it….Duke with a Blu-ray into the steel! COREY DUKE WITH A VAN TERMINATOR!!!! Ref Gina has a tough time getting into position but she counts the three and Kylon is DOWNED AND OUT! Hell of a match!
Denver Colorado is out to announce the participants of next week’s Open Door War. Corey Duke, Oxx Adams (w/ BRG), Bryce Donovan, Dustin Waller, Ichiban & Marcus Mathers! That’s gonna be a hell of a clash!
