JASON HOTCH VS. BDE AND MORE: 6/12 TNA XPLOSION REPORT

By Mike Johnson on 2026-06-14 18:49:00

Welcome to this week's TNA Xplosion report!

TNA Slammiversary 2023 - Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo vs. Trinity.

The crowd is clearly pro-Trinity.

Mercedes Mone is there, but not on camera.

They had a nice feeling out sequence early before facing off.   Purrazzo went for the Fujiwara armbar but Trinity made it to the ropes to break the hold.  Purrazzo went to the floor to avoid the Rear View.  Trinity nailed a flying bodypress but bounced off and Purrazzo drilled her.  She began focusing on Trinity's arm, working it over and scoring several near falls.  Purrazzo used an arm wringer to continue breaking down the extremity.

The champ scored another two count after a suplex.  Trinity kept trying to fight back but Purrazzo kept maintaining control.  Purrazzo tried to lock her in a submission but the crowd chanted for the challenger as escaped.  Trinity finally mounted a comeback with a kick from the ropes and nailing a series of clotheslines and kicks.  Trinity nailed a Samoan Drop and a kick to the face but Deonna kicked out.

Trinity cinched her in Starstruck but they went into a series of counters.  Trinity went for a headscissors but was trapped and nailed with a piledriver for a close two count.  Purrazzo went for The Queens' Gambit but Trinity fought her way out.  Deonna used a Side Russian Legsweep and cinched in a Fujiwara armbar.  Trinity fought and made it to the ropes.  Deonna refused to release until the referee got to five.  Trinity came back to hit a split-legged moonsault off the corner for a two count.

They battled to the outside, where Deonna nailed Queen's Gambit on the apron outside but Trinity kicked out at the last second, which they played up like a big moment.    Trinity made a comeback and cinched in Starstruck.  She locked up Deonna's legs and Purrazzo had no choice but to submit.  Great ending.

Your winner and new Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Trinity!

This was a very solid match with Deonna shining as the heel champ and Trinity looking  like a fiery babyface with the big offensive maneuvers.  Deonna submitting really makes Trinity look strong as Purrazzo had never tapped since coming to Impact.

TNA Impact - 6/11/26 - TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali with Order 4 vs. KC Navarro

KC slapped Ali when they went face to face at the bell. KC nailed a DDT out of an attempted wheel barrow takedown, then hit a dive into a DDT on the floor.  They battled on the floor.  John Skyler distracted KC, allowing Ali to hit a back suplex on the floor.  Ali worked over KC and scored several near falls.  The announcers wondered where Nemeth and Santana were.  Ali cinched in a chinlock and continued to take apart KC.  Ali locked in an STF, trying to force a submission.  Ali made it to the ropes but was stomped.  Ali worked over the neck and back of KC, drilling a knee to the neck.  Ali ascended to the top and went for a 450 splash but KC slipped out of the way.  Navarro drilled Ali, sending him crashing into the buckles.

They battled to the top.  Ali went for a DVDR but it was countered into a stunner off the ropes for a close two count.  Navarro started to build some momentum and nailed a Famouser for a close two count.   Navarro was snapped into the ropes.  Ali tried to cover him with his feet on the ropes for leverage but KC kicked out.  Navarro scored several two counts.  He went to the top for a missile dropkick but Ali evaded it and cinched in a Sharpshooter.  Navarro, trapped, tapped out.

Your winner and still TNA International Champion, Mustafa Ali!

Ali locked it back on after the bell, leading to Nic Nemeth hitting the ring.  Order 4 neutralized him from being able to help.  Santana's music hit and he came out of the crowd and helped Nemeth clean house.  Special Agent Zero drilled them both but they knocked him to the ring.  Santana and Nemeth went back to back waiting to fight but Order 4 backed off.  Ali charged Santana with the International title belt but Nemeth saw him coming and nailed a superkick to save Santana...and then hit a Danger Zone on him.  Nemeth stood over Santana.

They ran down the top five Don West trending topics of the week with #1 being Nic Nemeth calling his shot for the Slammiversary PPV bout against Santana.

Jason Hotch with John Skyler vs. BDE

They locked up with BDE backed into the corner and nailed with a hard chop.  He was whipped into the corner but went up and over and drilled Hotch, sending him to the floor.  BDE hit a tope to the outside and dumped Hotch back into the ring.  BDE went for a top rope stomp but Hotch moved.  BDE rolled through but Hotch clubbed him and scored a two count.  Hotch cinched in a side chinlock.  BDE fought to his feet but was nailed with a back suplex for another two count.  Hotch maintained control with a slam for yet another near fall.  BDE came back with a sunset flip while rebounding off the ropes but was unable to build and momentum as he was caught with another back suplex, nearly pinned and caught with a chinlock again.

BDE came back with a DDT and drilled Hotch with a running forearm, then a splash in the corner.  He nailed an inverted DDT.  Hotch caiught him with another sunset flip but Hotch drilled him.  Hotch missed a top rope clothesline.  BDE nailed a lariat that turned him inside out and hit a cutter off the ropes for a near fall.  John Skyler distracted BDE a he was on the ropes, allowing Hotch to avoid a move and score the pin with a Whirlybird into a sit-out powerbomb for the pin.

Your winner, Jason Hotch!
