6/11 TNA THURSDAY NIGHT IMPACT ON AMC COVERAGE

By Mike Johnson on 2026-06-11 23:05:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's TNA Thursday Night Impact coverage from Denver, Colorado!

The announcers, as always, are Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt.

TNA Champion MIke Santana vs. Eric Young

Santana took the fight to Young immediately, scoring a two count after a back senton splash.  He nailed a cannonball in the corner and drilled Young with a sit-out powerbomb for another two count.  They battled to the floor, where Santana nailed a big boot.  Young came back with a big right hand and they battled on the floor.  Santana is whipped hard into the ring steps.  Young slammed him into the corner of the canvas outside then began focusing on Santana's neck.  Young worked over Santana, scoring several two counts.

Young went to the top but Santana intercepted and attacked him.  He cut off Young but EY came back to bite him on the forehead.  Young knocked him into the ring below and hit a flying elbowdrop for a close two count.  Young argued with and threatening the referee over not getting the three count.  That allowed Santana to begin drilling him with shots to the mid-section.  Santana tossed him over the top to the floor and attempted to suplex Young back into the ring.  Young blocked and pulled him to the apron, where they battled back and forth as they went to commercial.

When they returned, Young nailed a neckbreaker across the ropes on the champ, who crashed to the floor outside.  Santana made a comeback, sending Young up and over in the corner and snatched him off the buckles with an overhead superplex.  Santana fought to his feet and nailed a back elbow and a big boot.  Santana nailed an enziguiri.  He went for the Rolling Buck Fifty but Young blocked it.  Santana rebounded and nailed the move for another near fall.  They battled back and forth.

Young ducked Spin the Block and Santana almost nailed the referee.  Young charged and the referee got knocked into the corner.  Young turned into a Spin the Block from Santana but when the champ went for the pin, the referee was obviously out.  Santana checked on the referee but Young kicked him low.  Young grabbed the TNA title belt from ringside and nailed Santana in full view of TNA President Carlos Silva, which made zero sense.  He nailed a piledriver and covered Santana but at the last second, Santana's hand touched the rope.

Young set up the title belt, now in front of the referee, which made ZERO sense but Ricky Sosa's music hit and he came out on the stage.  The distraction allowed Santana to pull Young into a forward roll for the pin.

Your winner and still Champion Mike Santana!

Good match but the finish was weak and did nothing to make Santana look strong.  It also made zero sense for Young, even if he's out of his mind, to blatantly use the belt as a weapon in front of the company's top official.

Nic Nemeth came out and it appeared he was going to cash in his title shot but instead offered a hand and helped him up.  Nemeth took the mic and said he could call his shot, pick the bones and walk out as champion.  He said he was a man of his word.  Nemeth said he was a man of his word and he is calling in his shot at the Slammiversary PPV.   He declared they would face off for the title at the PPV.  They held the belt between them.  Nemeth offered a hand and Santana shook it.

Gia Miller interviewed Mustafa Ali with Order 4.  Ali said that he wanted to give a round of applause for Nic Nemeth for being honorable, even if it was idiotic.  Ali admits he lost to KC Navarro several weeks ago, but this week, Navarro lost his Uncle.  KC wants to dedicate this match to his Uncle, who KC has been telling everyone that he fought to the end.   He said KC will fight to the end and lose as well.  He issues condolences to Navarro for his loss...both of them.

They showed the highlights of AJ Francis' attack last week.

Elijah cut a promo as he came to the ring.  He said Francis wants to take his music and silence his voice but he's not going to let that happen.  He asked who wants to walk with Elijah and began playing, getting the audience to sing along.  Someone came out and "served" Elijah.  That allowed Elegance to nail Elijah from behind...

Elijah vs. Mr. Elegance.

Elegance rolled up Elijah and pinned him.  You gotta be kidding me.

Your winner, Mr. Elegance!

AJ Francis came out and mocked Elijah for losing the match, just as he lost his music, likeness and license.  He said Elijah is going to lose the lawsuit that will now happen because he didn't listen to the cease and desist.  Francis said there's nothing he can do about it.  Elijah clotheslined Francis to the floor, dove out on him and attacked him.  They brawled away as Elegance celebrated in the ring.

TNA Knockouts Champion Lei Ying Lee hit the ring and attacked Elegance.  She nailed a Blockbuster off the ropes and railed away with punches on the mat.  Xia Brookside hit the ring and yanked Lee to the mat by her hair, then began drilling her with punches.  Brookside went for the DDT she uses but Lee pulled her into Warrior's Way and executed it.  Lee went to the top but Brookside retreated up the entrance.

Injury Report: Trey Miguel is hopeful of being cleared to return within eight weeks.  Moose has been cleared to return.

Backstage, Nic Nemeth told KC Navarro to go do his thing.  Navarro said he appreciated what Nemeth did earlier.  Navarro said that had Nemeth attacked Santana earlier, he would have been crushed personally.  Ryan Nemeth showed up and said that's what Nic should have done.  Nic told him he said he would fight Santana man to man, one on one.  He said at Slammiversary they'll see who the best man is.  Santana showed up and said he doesn't trust anyone in the locker room.  He said when he beats Nemeth, Nemeth will shake his hand.  Navarro asked Santana and Nemeth to watch his back tonight in case Order 4 gets involved.  Nemeth and Santana agreed.  Ryan Nemeth told Nic not to help "this idiot" but Nic told him to relax.

Eddie Edwards & X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander with Alisha Edwards vs. Fabian Aichner & Leon Slater.

Edwards and Slater kicked off the match.  Slater was shoulderblocked down but came back to kick Edwards.  Aichner tagged in but was drilled from the outside by Alexander.  Aichner nailed him and hit a tiltowhirl backbreaker on Edwards.  Aichner was knocked to the floor, where Alexander slammed him outside on the apron.

After a commercial break, Edwards was in control of Aichner, scoring several near falls.  The crowd tried to rally Aichner.  They collided and Aichner was able to tag Slater.  Slater went nuts on offense and scored a two count after a big dive off the top on Alexander.  The crowd chanted for TNA.  Edwards got involved and was clotheslined to the floor by Aichner.  Aichner hit a dive to the floor.  Aichner nailed a DDT.  Slater went to the top but Bear Bronson and Brian Myers got involved.  Aichner, then Slater nailed dives to the floor.   Alexander caught Slater with the Lumbar Check for the pin.

Your winners, The System!

Aichner saved Slater from a beating but was attacked by Bear Bronson.  Moose's music hit and he came to the ring for the save as The System split from the ring.  Moose took the ring mic and said he was back and now it was time to put an end to this.  He said at Slammiversary, it's Eddie Edwards vs. Moose.

Backstage, Santino Marella said it was a big win last week and now he can move on with his life.  He said it will be a long time before Arianna Grace and Stacks come back and when they do, he hopes they have a better attitude.  Indi Hartwell showed up and thanked Marella for teaming with her last week.  She asked for a rematch against Elayna Black.  Marella made the match for next week.

The Righteous came to the ring as TNA showed highlights of last week's Wicked Garden match.  Vincent said he told everyone in that match, the vines don't let go.  History was made last week in the first ever match of its kind.  The Hardys met Lilly of the Valley, beautiful and delicate but poisonous.  He said it wasn't to hurt Jeff Hardy but to show the world that even legends decay.  The Hardys have survived it all, but then they entered The Wicked Garden.  They have classified the Hardys as obsolete.  They said that's what's next for them is the TNA Tag Team titles.  Santino Marella came out.  He said that Wicked Garden was fantastic and they have earned a title match.  But, the Hardys still have a rematch clause so at Slammiversary it will be a three-way ladder match.  Vincent said that the Hardys are gone and he's in control now.  The lights went out and when they returned, there was a ladder in the ring.  This freaked out The Righteous.

The Elegance Brand vs. Rosemary & Allie & Mara Sade

Mr. Elegance tripped Sade as she entered the ring, allowing The Brand to attack Sade.  This sparked a brawl on the floor.   Team Sade nailed a triple-clothesline on the floor.    Sade nailed a missile dropkick on M by Elegance.  Rosemary tagged in and used a voodoo doll on Ash by Elegance.  She reacted to it.  Rosemary tossed the doll by Heather by Elegance caught.  She used it to make Ash duck a charge from Rosemary and nailed Rosemary with the doll....but the shot somehow didn't hurt Ash?  Dear God, why am I writing about the internal logic of voodoo in pro wrestling?  The Elegance brand worked over Rosemary.  Rosemary bit her way out of it and tagged in Allie, who cleaned house.  Allie used a hanging leg scissors while upside down.  Lots of shenanigans.  Allie scored the pin with the Codebreaker.  That sets up Allie and Rosemary challenging for the Knockouts Tag Team belts at Slammiversary.

Your winners, Rosemary & Allie & Mara Sade!

TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali with Order 4 vs. KC Navarro

KC slapped Ali when they went face to face at the bell. KC nailed a DDT out of an attempted wheel barrow takedown, then hit a dive into a DDT on the floor.  They battled on the floor.  John Skyler distracted KC, allowing Ali to hit a back suplex on the floor.  Ali worked over KC and scored several near falls.  The announcers wondered where Nemeth and Santana were.  Ali cinched in a chinlock and continued to take apart KC.  Ali locked in an STF, trying to force a submission.  Ali made it to the ropes but was stomped.  Ali worked over the neck and back of KC, drilling a knee to the neck.  Ali ascended to the top and went for a 450 splash but KC slipped out of the way.  Navarro drilled Ali, sending him crashing into the buckles.

They battled to the top.  Ali went for a DVDR but it was countered into a stunner off the ropes for a close two count.  Navarro started to build some momentum and nailed a Famouser for a close two count.   Navarro was snapped into the ropes.  Ali tried to cover him with his feet on the ropes for leverage but KC kicked out.  Navarro scored several two counts.  He went to the top for a missile dropkick but Ali evaded it and cinched in a Sharpshooter.  Navarro, trapped, tapped out.

Your winner and still TNA International Champion, Mustafa Ali!

Ali locked it back on after the bell, leading to Nic Nemeth hitting the ring.  Order 4 neutralized him from being able to help.  Santana's music hit and he came out of the crowd and helped Nemeth clean house.  Special Agent Zero drilled them both but they knocked him to the ring.  Santana and Nemeth went back to back waiting to fight but Order 4 backed off.  Ali charged Santana with the International title belt but Nemeth saw him coming and nailed a superkick to save Santana...and then hit a Danger Zone on him.  The show ended with Nemeth standing over Santana.
