AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley's media tour in the Cincinnati market continued with an appearance on FOX affiliate WVIX channel 19 promote this week's AEW Dynamite and Collision tapings at The Andrew J. Brady Music Center.
Moxley said AEW will be the best place to be this week in Cincy. He said AEW is the best professional wrestling in the world. It's as "good as it gets." It's the best rock concert and sporting event rolled into one. He'll be defending the Continental title tomorrow against Shane Taylor.
Moxley said he doesn't get nervous before stepping out to perform. He said he tries to stay in a "ready" state at all times.
Moxley said one of the things he loves about AEW is going into unique venues like The Brady Center, a music venue and see and feel the sweat and blood coming off the wrestlers as they battle.
The Continental Championship has sort of a gentleman's agreement to keep things "relatively clean" but joked fans need to be there to see if you want to see things get a little out of control. He talked about how to use pressure in order to pop eyeballs out of sockets and how fans see it live when they cut away on camera. This cracked up the anchor interviewing him.
Moxley said there will be nothing funny happening when he faces Shane Taylor in Moxley's home area. He said things will come to a head over the next few days. You can't be emotional in an emotional situation. He talked up the seriousness of the situation.
