The police investigation into the July 2025 passing of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has been completed and investigators in Florida have determined Hogan passed away of natural causes after his heart stopped while he was sitting in a recliner chair while with family member and in-home nurses and that there is no evidence of criminal wrongdoing, according to The California Post.
A 72 page report states that Hogan passed away after cardiac arrest. It also noted that he had been diagnosed with leukemia at the time of a surgery to repair his heart and had undergone one round of chemotherapy.
The Clearwarter Police Department told to The Post, noting, "We want to thank the family of Mr. Bollea — Sky, Nick and Brooke — and their attorney, Kevin Hayslett, for their cooperation. Their willingness to allow our investigators access to very personal information, at a time when they were grieving and struggling, was extremely helpful. We would not have had the legal justification to obtain much of the information without their cooperation.”
The Post article noted:
"Investigators wrote in the document that several close to Hogan told them he had been in rough shape following multiple recent surgeries.
On the day of his death, Hogan had been with his wife, Sky, and two healthcare workers when they suddenly noticed he had stopped breathing while sitting in his recliner, according to the report.
Sky called 911 while one of the medical professionals administered CPR, the report stated.
Hogan was ultimately transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Authorities said at the time they did not suspect foul play."
The Clearwater Police Department posted on their website:
"Terry Bollea Investigation
The investigation into the death of Terry Bollea is now closed, and classified as an attended natural death."
