5/29 NJPW BEST OF SUPER JUNIOR RESULTS FROM NIIGATA, JAPAN

1 - Tiger Mask vs. Tatsuya Matsumoto

Tiger Mask hits a Tiger Bomb and pins Matsumoto.

2 - Masatora Yasuda, Toru Yano and Daisuke Sasaki vs. Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa and Robbie Eagles

Jackson pins Yasuda after hitting a Senton.

3 - Gedo and Taiji Ishimori vs. Dick Togo and SHO

Togo chokes out Gedo with a wire, then SHO hits Gedo with a wrench.   SHO pins Gedo.

4 - YOH, KUSHIDA and El Desperado vs. Zane Jay, Jakob Austin Young and Francesco Akira

KUSHIDA forces Zane to tap out to the Hoverboard Lock.

5 - B Block Match:   Hyo vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru

SHO and Togo come out to interfere in the match.  SHO has Hyo's stuffed leopard in a cage.   Kanemaru tries to spray whiskey but Hyo sprays him first with red mist in the eyes.   Hyo with a Stunner on Kanemaru.   Kanemaru spits his whiskey in SHO's eyes.   Hyo knocks Togo to the floor.   Hyo hits The Hunting on Kanemaru and gets the pin.  

Hyo has 6 points.

Yoshinobu Kanemaru has 6 points.

After the match, SHO and Togo attack Hyo and steal back the stuffed leopard.

Very balanced records in B Block.   That will be interesting to watch as we head into the final days of this tour.

BOSJ 33 - A Block Matches:

6 - Master Wato vs. Daiki Nagai

Wato pins Nagai with the Tsutenkaku German.

Master Wato has 10 points.

Daiki Nagai has 0 points.

7 - Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Robbie X

Robbie hits X Marks the Spot and an X Express.   Robbie pins Taguchi.

Robbie X has 8 points.

Ryusuke Taguchi has 6 points.

8 - Nick Wayne vs. Titan

Good match.   Titan hits a double stomp off the top rope.  Two count.  Wayne with a small package.  Two count.  Titan hits a running lariat.  Wayne hits a Cutter off the top rope.  Wayne hits Wayne's World.    Wayne pins Titan.

Nick Wayne has 8 points.

Titan has 10 points.

Big win for Wayne who gains points, but also keeps Titan from advancing higher in the tournament.

9 - Kosei Fujita vs. Valiente Jr.

Fujita hits the Thrill Ride and gets the pin on Valiente.

Kosei Fujita has 8 points.

Valiente Jr. has 4 points.

In the A Block, Wato and Titan continue to lead followed by five others at 8 points.    Nagai and Valiente Jr. are eliminated mathematically.
