BloombergLaw.com is reporting that a Delaware judge ruled todat that Vince McMahon and WWE senior leaders “acted recklessly” in allowing Signal messages dealing with WWE's merger with UFC to be deleted and were sanctioned by the court.
This will make it harder for McMahon to defend himself in the upcoming trial that alleges that McMahon manipulated the merger that ended up happening with Ari Emanuel and TKO.
In today's opinion Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster said in his 40-page opinion, “The court will presume the truth of a limited number of facts relating to the conduct and motivations of two defendants: the controlling stockholder and the senior officer who openly encouraged Signal use,” referring to McMahon and WWE President Nick Khan.
