For those of you attending the sold out AEW Double or Nothing 2026 PPV tomorrow at Louis Armstrong Stadium, if you are using public transportation, Jeff Wirtheim sent the following advisory:
If you are using the Subway:
If you are coming from Manhattan, there will no 7 train service between the city and 74th Street in Queens. You would need to take the E, F or R trains to 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue and walk upstairs to transfer to the 7 train there. You would get off at the Mets-Willets Point stop.
The M train is also not running in Queens this weekend, so do not attempt to take the M to 74th.
If you are using the Long Island Railroad:
The LIRR will be running to Citi Field all weekend. The official name of the stop is Mets-Willets Point. It is on the Port Washington branch, which is displayed in red on the boards at Penn Station. There are only 2 trains per hour - one to Grand Central (though at some point late night - they only go to Penn) and one to Penn. The Port Washington line does not go to Jamaica where every other LIRR line goes. So if you are coming from Long Island via train - you must go to Woodside and change platforms to a Port Washington bound train. Citi Field is the next stop. If you are taking the LIRR from Manhattan - you can buy a City Ticket via the MTA app - and pay a significantly reduced fare. The MTA is running a shuttle bus between 74th st and Queensboro Plaza for the Queens residents.
