SOMEONE NEEDS TO TELL THE ANNOUNCE TEAM THAT ROMAN AND THE USOS ARE HEELS, BROCK-OBA, JD-BALOR AND MORE

RAW was one helluva show, for my money.  One of the better episodes I’ve watched in quite some time.

1.  The show opened hot, that’s for sure.  Great segment as far as action, but as I’ve stated before, Roman and the Usos looked like dicks yet again.  I know it’s “family business” , but 3 on 1?  Not a good look for the supposed babyface trio.  You?

Hell no, it’s not.  And the way the announcers acted like Roman tried to do the right thing was ridiculous.  He did not try to do the right thing one time in this whole deal and the three on one attack?  Heel move.  And, remember Jey was going to hit Jacob with a chair before Jacob caught him.  Roman and the Usos are the dicks here.  Jacob is fighting for his family.  It’s odd the way they are having the announcers present it like he hasn’t gotten screwed.

And when the Usos did the 1D on Jacob, I didn’t think Jimmy was going to be in position for his end of the move.  It looked sloppy to me.

It wasn’t pretty, for sure.

2.  Roman/Jacob rematch;  does Fatu eat another loss here?  Or will the Tribal Combat match be non-title and Roman can take a loss?  That option doesn’t seem likely to me, but how does this play out in your opinion?

My hunch is that Roman will cheat to win since I can’t see him giving up being the OTC.  Hopefully, it leads to them fighting at SummerSlam and Jacob winning.  I seems like they are booking Jacob in a Steve Austin-like way, but they need to get the announce team up to speed because their call doesn’t match what my eyes see.

3.  Balor/JD street fight;  great opener, and the crowd let them know.  Superb match that over-delivered for me.  Did you like it?

I did but honestly, I would have had JD win to elevate him.  I didn’t like that he took the loss…..again.

4.  Oba Femi Open Challenge:  I don’t know if you had any info beforehand, but never in a million years did I expect Brock Lesnar to come lay him out.  I know you and I agreed that if WM was Brock’s swan song, it was perfect.  BUT,  the selfish fan in me is happy to see Suplex City a couple more times.  Does Brock hand Oba his first main roster loss?

I had no idea it would be Brock, and that made it better.  I don’t think Brock should beat Oba.  I think it’s fine to have it be a competitive bout but Oba has to win.  Brock’s at the end and Oba is in his prime.

5.  Does Brock coming back open the door for him to actually retire at Summerslam?

It could, for sure.  Paul Heyman presented this as a one time match for Brock.  If they have Oba beat him fairly easily, they could do an angle where Brock trains to get in the best shape of his life because he can’t just get by as The Beast anymore, and he gets his close match there in a loss.  Then, he could walk away proud.
