GOLDBERG TALKS MEMPHIS, D-VON TALKS, PG-13 REUNITING AND MORE

The Memphis Commercial Appeal featured a piece on WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg drawing a big crowd for an appearance at the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest in the city over the weekend.    When asked what the city meant to him, Goldberg commented, "Oh man. You know what it means to me? I just met a young man who had me sign a photo from one of my early matches here. Way back in 2001. My first thought was, ‘Am I that old?’ But then I realized what a dream come true this town has been for me. Memphis has always carried the tradition of being the mecca of wrestling. I’m not the first monster to come through here, and I won’t be the last. This city is just the very best.”

WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley spoke with Jacksonville Channel 4 about putting the late Mae Young through a table during the WWE Attitude Era and more.

Shayna Baszler commented on Ronda Rousey's MMA win over the weekend against Gina Carano, noting, }If you want to know how fast the memory of MMA fans gets erased, 17 seconds isn’t even her fastest win and people think it was worked, lol. What about her :14 win over Zigano? Or her :16 win over Davis? Or her other 5 wins under :30? Or her 9 total wins under a minute?"

Former WCW star Big Vito is working the next Memphis Wrestling TV taping on 5/31.  They are bringing in PG-13, Jamie Dundee and Wolfie D on 6/13.
