Welcome to this week's PWInsider.com report for AAA Lucha Libre from Queretaro, Mexico!
Corey Graves, JBL and Rey Mysterio are the announcers.
Lince Dorado vs. Octagón Jr. vs. Cruz Del Toro
Relentless energy with dives, counters and near falls throughout. Lince scored early with a tilt-o-whirl backbreaker into a clothesline combination on Octagón before Cruz broke up the pin attempt. Lince landed an impressive Asai moonsault to the floor after Cruz slid underneath him on the apron. Back inside the ring, Dorado connected with a top rope crossbody and briefly attempted to wear Cruz down with an armbar, but Cruz powered free and answered with a powerbomb. Octagón Jr. then took over the match with a series of aerial attacks, including a spinning dive onto both opponents on the floor and a rope-walk assisted attack that wiped out both men. Cruz responded by yanking Octagón outside the ring and diving onto Lince on the opposite side before Octagón answered with a dive of his own onto Cruz.
There was fast-paced series of near falls and momentum swings. Octagón nearly won with a twisting senton before Lince pulled him outside the ring during the cover attempt. Lince later stunned Octagón with a handspring stunner, only for Cruz to break up the pin. All three men exchanged strikes and superkicks before Octagón connected with a cutter, Lince hit a backstabber and Cruz dropped Lince with a Michinoku Driver, leaving everyone down on the mat. Cruz trapped Octagón in the Tree of Woe and hit a Coast-to-Coast dropkick from the opposite turnbuckle. Lince immediately flew in with a shooting star press, though Cruz avoided the impact. Seconds later, Dorado recovered and drilled Cruz with a brainbuster for the pin.
Your winner, Lince Dorado!
This was a lot of fun.
Dorian Roldan encountered Chessman, who revealed he was interviewing with Marisela Pena for the vacant AAA General Manager position.
La Catalina vs. Jessy Jackson
This was Catalina's debut after coming over from CMLL. After an even exchange early, Jackson used Catalina’s hair to gain control and repeatedly drove her into the mat. Catalina answered with arm drags and a dropkick before connecting with a cannonball dive to the floor. Jackson regained momentum after Catalina missed a charge in the corner, leading to a Meteora for a near fall. Jackson slowed the pace with chops and strikes before Catalina battled back by driving her opponent into the turnbuckles and landing a missile dropkick off the top rope. Catalina followed with a running hip attack for another near fall. She drilled Jessy with a superkick and another hip attack before hitting a top rope splash for the pinfall.
Your winner, La Catalina!
OK introductory match.
Flammer confronted Catalina. They went back and forth. Catalina invited Flammer into the ring to face off. Flammer's fellow Las Toxicas members Hiedra and Maravilla attacked Catalina. Lola Vice ran out to make the save but was overwhelmed as well until Bayley made a surprise appearance. Bayley cleaned house alongside Lola and Catalina before the trio celebrated together in the ring while Las Toxicas retreated. Obviously a six woman bout in the future.
They recapped Omos attacking El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
Psycho Clown came to the ring demanding answers regarding the recent attacks on members of Psycho Circs and called out Pagano. An emotional exchange followed, with Psycho accusing Pagano due to mounting suspicion. Pagano denied any involvement and insisted he would never betray his family. Psycho shoved Pagano before leaving the ring. The War Raiders attacked Psycho Clown on the entrance ramp. Pagano ran to assist him, though commentary questioned whether he was hesitating. Psycho and Pagano stared at each other, then left through opposite sides of the stage, so they are not on the same page. The drama continues to build.
That's it for this week!
