SMACKDOWN TAPING NOTES, LESNAR GOES ALUMNI, ARDA OCAL, MIKE BUCCI AND MORE

Smackdown will be taping on Tuesday 6/23 as part of the UK tour.  It will likely air live on Netflix and be held for taped delay on Friday 6/26 in The United States.

The 6/29 WWE Raw and Smackdown taping in Atlantic City, NJ will feature WWE taping the 7/4 Smackdown in advance so staff and talent can have the holiday off.  This would be the first TV taping in nearly two decades in Atlantic City.  The last taping would have been a Smackdown & ECW taping back in 2008.  

Speaking of Lesnar, WWE shifted him to their Alumni section on their website.

Smackdown will return to two hours for the summer, as it did last year.

Arda Ocal, who worked for WWE under the name Kyle Edwards, announced his departure from ESPN this week after a decade with the sports network.

Mike Bucci, aka Simon Dean during his WWE run, will be doing a standup comedy set opening for Mick Foley's one man show in Louisville, Kentucky on 5/13.
