TMZ.com released audio from a 911 call from a fan who alleged they were shoved by CM Punk over Wrestlemania weekend at the MGM Grand Hotel. This would have been a separate incident from Punk slapping a cellphone out of the hand of someone following and filming his wife, AJ Lee and Bayley while they having a private discussion, which led to Bayley asking the fan to leave them alone.
During the call, this caller states he was waiting in the hotel trying to get photos and autographs from WWE talents but when he got close to them, he alleged Punk pushed him and chopped him in his chest. The called stated that while he was not an expert, he believed Punk may have been "drunk or high" (which given Punk being famously straightedge, has to put the claim into question) and that Punk's face was "red" and "full of anger." TMZ stated that Las Vegas police did come and speak to all involved but there was no further action taken.
PWInsider.com reported all Wrestlemania week that fans had been camped out in the MGM Grand hotel and were swarming talents with relatively little security to protect them from being mobbed. Beyond the other Punk incident, there were videos of Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Royce Keys and more dealing with fan issues. WWE Hall of Famers Sean Waltman and Booker T also spoke out publicly about the issues, which including accusations of fans following Booker into a bathroom and Waltman allegedly being assaulted.
