TKO held an all-hands on deck virtual town hall earlier today, during which WWE President Nick Khan announced that Paul Levesque just signed a new employment contract with the company to remain WWE Chief Content Officer, PWInsider.com has been told by those who attended the call.
In asking around, we are also told it is a "multiple year deal", possibly as long as three years. We are also told the deal was completed prior to Wrestlemania weekend.
During the WWE portion of the call, Khan also shot down social media criticism of Wrestlemania 42, noting that in the past, previous Wrestlemanias have also received online scrutiny but such complaints are not reliable barometers of how the events are received by the overall audience, nor its success.
During the call, each department of TKO (WWE, PBR, UFC, etc.) spent around five minutes going over each of their successes. It was very much a rah rah call, we are told.
Other topics discussed included UFC's event at the White House later this year, On Location's work, The World Cup and The Olympics.
