4/25 NJPW RESULTS FROM HIROSHIMA, JAPAN

From Hiroshima, Japan:

1 - Master Wato, YOH, Toru Yano and Shota Umino vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru, SHO, Yujiro Takahashi and Chase Owens

Kanemaru spits whiskey into Takahashi's eyes by mistake.  Yano rolls up Takahashi into a cradle pin.

2 - Masatora Yasuda, Ryusuke Taguchi and Taichi vs. Francesco Akira, Great O-Khan and HENARE

Akira forces Yasuda to tap out to the Ground Tarantula.

3 - Togi Makabe, Tiger Mask, Aaron Wolf and Boltin Oleg vs. Dick Togo, DOUKI, Don Fale and Ren Narita

This match broke down into a wild brawl.   The match was a no contest.    DOUKI and Tiger Mask fought in the ring.  DOUKI ripped off Tiger Mask's mask.   Hontai (YOH, Yano Umino and Wato) comes out to make the save and protect Tiger Mask's face.   DOUKI gleefully parades around the ring with the mask and IWGP Jr. belt.   TIger Mask tells the fans that his title match against DOUKI will be a Lumberjack Death Match.

4 - Tomoaki Honma and Yuya Uemura vs. Hartley Jackson and Ryohei Oiwa

Jackson hits the Jagged Edge and Honma and gets the pin.

5 - Daiki Nagai, Gedo, Yota Tsuji and Shingo Takagi vs. Zane Jay, Jakob Austin Young, Jake Lee and Callum Newman

Newman hits Made in Japan on Nagai.   Young follows with Another One Bites the Dust on Nagai and gets the pin.

6 - IWGP Jr. Tag Team Championship:   Robbie X and Taiji Ishimori vs. Kosei Fujita and Robbie Eagles

Eagles traps Ishimori in the Ron Miller Special.   Ishimori taps out.    

TMDK win the IWGP Jr. Tag Team Championship.

I think Robbie X should have gotten a longer reign with these titles, but as we head into Best of the Super Juniors, Eagles and Fujita may look better with the belts.    

7 - IWGP Tag Team Championship:  OSKAR and Yuto-Ice vs. YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto

All men worked hard in this match.   Goto hit a single Shoto and a GTW on Yuto.   OSKAR whipped YOSHI-HASAHI into the turnbuckle.   YOSHI-HASHI hits a lariat.  Yuto hits a lariat on YOSHI-HASHI.   Knockout Brothers hit The Rumbling on YOSHI-HASHI.  Goto makes the save.   All four men trade shots.  Knockout Brothers hit the KOB on Goto.    Yuro hits a basement dropkick on YOSHI-HASHI.  Yuto punches YOSHI-HASHI in the jaw.   They hit KOB on YOSHI-HASHI.   OSKAR pins YOSHI-HASHI.

Knockout Brothers retain the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.

Awesome match.   All four men were completely spent in the ring.   The Knockout Brothers are now the kings of Tag Division after their 6th successful title defense, and they deserve to hold the titles till another team along.   

 Yuto cuts a passionate promo to send the fans home happy.
