Do you know how much money was raised for Dennis Condrey's wife?
The last I saw it was in the area of $50,000.
It was interesting to see the Twitter response to you breaking the Paige story, especially fans upset it was spoiled. Why did they read the story then? You had it listed as a spoiler.
I don't blame them for being upset, but they shouldn't be upset with me. One, the article I wrote was specifically listed as a spoiler, so no one could read it unless they chose to read it on PWInsider.com. The problem is that when others swipe the news or repeat it on social media, they aren't providing the same choice that we are here. If you were scrolling on Twitter or other social media platforms, chances are that if you came across it, it was thrust upon you, taking away your choice to want to know or not. I don't particularly care for that, but I can't control people stealing our content or repeating it. I gave everyone a choice as to whether they wanted to know or not. Others took that choice away, so the anger should be with the people who stole the content and then repeated it - because they don't have show the same respect for their readers that I have.
Since this is there only site I and many others trust for the truth I needed to ask a question. I saw a guy post that Vince was in talks with Saudi investors to buy the WWE back. Is there any credence to that "report" or was this just another idiot desperate for clicks?
I don't believe there is any truth to that story.
I am starting to get just as worried as you when it comes to the safety of the talents. For one, seeing the complete lack of boundaries some of the fanatics had towards the personal space of the talent at WrestleMania is infuriating. On top of that, there is an undercurrent of fanatics on social media who are running with a rhetoric that the famous owe fans 24/7 access to them because of their occupation—which should be more than a clue that the threat is REAL. My question is simple: Why isn't Endeavor and TKO listening to you?? Why don't they just hire Atlas Security to escort the talent?? If they own UFC, shouldn't they have access to mixed martial artists that probably need extra cash? It's already an egregious thing that Kevin Nash points out they had no catering for the talent. But do they really want to cut so many corners at Mania the talent has to be their own bodyguards? The brand is too big for a Bill Watts mentality that "the boys have to be legit tough" when there's an entire culture of Travis Bickles out there that can end a talent's life in an instant. Hopefully they are willing to spend on this issue because what message are they sending to the talent if they don't? Why should anyone work for a company that won't invest in the safety of the talent?
I don't know. I don't care whether they listen to me or not as long as they do whatever needs to be done to protect their talents. I'm going to hope it was just an abberation and they will course correct.
By my count you went to 10 shows in Las Vegas. When the hell did you have a chance to sleep?
It was 10 shows and a charity event that I covered. I slept on the flight to and from Vegas. I actually, based on my fitbit, did fit in 5-7 hours of sleep every night, which is far more than usual.
Did you see Hulk Hogan once again claimed he didn't know he was going to beat Andre the Giant on his Netflix doc. Really?
Well, he also said he got Arsenio Hall his hosting job....
