4/18 GCW PRESENTS EFFY'S BIG GAY BRUNCH 2026 IN LAS VEGAS REPORT

Welcome one and all to PWInsider’s coverage of the BIGGEST, GAYEST, BRUNCHIEST show of the year: It’s EFFY’S BIG GAY BRUNCH presented by GCW. Veda Scott has the call of the action with rotating color commentators.

Amy Rose, Pollo Del Mar and Val Capone introduce Cosmo, the host of the event.

Lucha Rules: B3CCA introduces Monomoth, Jevon Monroe, Hunter Gallagher, Anton Voorhees, The Gnomie Gabby Forza, Booke Havok vs. Jai Vidal, Evan, Murray, Gordon Blake, Billy Dixon & Jordan Blade.

I apologize if the above names are incorrect. The audio is not good

Lucha rules ensue. There is no WAY I can keep up with this. Forza got booted to the face. Dixon with a headbutt. Dixon with a 5 knuckle shuffle to Forza. Jordan Blade tags in and throws some chops. Gabby fights off team Dixon. Monomoth comes in and we’ve got a dance off. Blade throws Monomoth from the ring. Forza comes back in and lariats Blade. German by Blade. Northern lights by The Gnomie. Hunter Gallagher with a rear view.

This is nuts!

Spear by Gnomie. Dixon with a powerbomb to Gnomie. The music starts. The person with the GOONER shirt on gets dancing and Gallagher joins him. Tope to the floor by Gallagher. Voorhees with a springboard elbow. Dixon with a spinebuster and widow’s peak on Voorhees.

WINNERS: TEAM DIXON

Mad Dog Connelly vs. Brick Savage

They go nose to nose. Kiss by Connelly. They trade right hands. Chops by Connelly. Slam by Savage. We’ve got a Cory Strode Hoss Fight! Lariat by Connelly. Atomic drop and a cross body into an elbow by Savage for 2. BIG chops by Brick. Brick is a monster with a GREAT look. Connelly sends him over the top rope. Connelly with a dive to the floor. Running clothesline by Brick. Connelly nails Brick with a chain. As a hoss fight, this might be no DQ. Savage is busted wide open. Connelly licks the blood. Connelly whips Savage with the chain. Savage wants more! They trade forearms. Suplex for 2 by Savage. Splash off the 2nd rope for 2 by Savage. Savage to the top. Connelly stops him and nails a gut wrench for 2. Running headbutt by Connelly for 1. Classic hoss fight. Suplex by Savage and that’s all she wrote.

I, for one, would love to see more of Savage.

Vipress vs Mercedes Martinez

Rollup for 1 by Vipress. Backslide by Vipress for 1. Clothesline by Mercedes. 3 Amigos by Vipress. Right hands by Mercedes. Vipress avoids a cross body. Running knee by Vipress. Spine on the pine by Mercedes. Vipress takes over with a brainbuster. Vipress with a DVD. We’ve got another hoss fight! Faceplant for 2 by Mercedes.

Small package and a sliding kick into a piledriver for 2 by Vipress. German off the buckles by Mercedes. Vipress with 2 piledrivers for the pin

Kidd Bandit vs Charlie Evans vs. Allie Katch vs Steph De Lander

As expected this is crazy from the get go. This is Allie’s last Big Gay Brunch as she lost to Effy last night. Steph gets sent over the top rope to the floor. This crowd LOVES them some Allie and, quite frankly, so do I. Kick by Charlie to Allie. Steph trips Charlie and sends her to the floor. Steph with an electric chair to Evans. They keep saying this is Bandit’s last ever match. Bandit misses a charge. Kick by De Lander. Evans with boots to the face to all 3 opponents. Hip checks by Allie. Double Northern Lights by Allie.

Allie had an INSANE fight with Effy last night/VERY early this AM. Allie has to be hurting. Steph with a clothesline to Bandit. Evans germans Bandit. Steph with a Samoan drop to Evans. All four trade forearms. Back elbow by Evans. Allie with a piledriver for 2 on Evans. All 4 trade pins and break ups. Bandit cleared the ring. Bandit and Allie slug it out. Allie pins Bandit with a piledriver

WINNER ALLIE KATCH

It’s emotional in Vegas. Allie hugs Bandit. Bandit leaves her kick pads in the ring.

Parrow’s Parade of Punishment

Vivan Cross and Gwen Neodonna come out. Forgive me for any spelling errors. Reggie Coy and Damien Desire (Platonic Romance) come out. This is a gauntlet as far as I can tell.

Platonic Romance wins this round. Coy and Desire start to wrestle. Logan Cabassa (?) comes out next. Logan pins Coy.

Jay Locks is out next. Low blow by Logan. Locks is giving a fashion show. Logan pins Desire. Splash by Locks.

Julsie is out next. Locks slams Logan into the buckles. Julsie with a reverse standing moonsault and a superkick to Locks.

Devin Carter (audio stinks - I may have that name wrong) comes in next. Low blow by Logan. Carter with a 2 on Logan.

Marko Mayor comes out next. Everyone teams up on Mayor. Carter goes over the top rope as does Locks for eliminations. Logan as well. It’s Mayor vs Julsie and that person goes over the top.

CP Gay comes in next. Gay with a boot to the face and a dropkick. Body block by Mayor

Nicki XS comes out next.

This match is insane. Effy’s Big Gay Brunch always brings it. XS takes over with….ahhh…breast rubs. XS grinds Gay. Elbow by Marko. OVER THE TOP GOES MARKO for the elimination.

Judi Underwood is out next. Very quickly, Anakin Murphy comes out next. XS goes over the top for an elimination, as does Underwood.

Parrow, a frightening-looking wrestler, is next. Gay gets sent through a door. Anakin gets powerbombed over the top through chairs for an elimination.

Cosmo and Priscilla Kelly come out and introduce Bear Bronson. CP Gay keeps getting tossed aside and splashed. Double goozle into a double….groin claw. Bronson over the top for the elimination. CP Gay with a 1099. He Chicago Skylines Parrow for the pin.

Effy vs. Zack Sabre Jr (Today known as ZS Gay - I’ll call him ZSG in the report)

We are seeing a side of Effy that we never thought we’d see. A man breaking down. Losing all personal relationships. Effy tries to seduce ZSG. Lockup, slap by ZSG. Arm twist takedown by Effy. ZSG with lockups. Straightjacket by Effy, reversed by ZSG. ZSG misses a charge. Effy with….hip attacks and a boot to the face. Effy with a tarantula. Neck crank by ZSG.

The commentary makes clear that ZSG is not gay and just completely supports both wrestling and the cause. Nothing but love and respect from me.

Stretch by ZSG. Stomp by ZSG. Nipple twist by Effy. Effy bites ZSG’s nipple. Suplex for 2 by Effy. Seated senton by Effy. STF by ZSG. ZSG with a stretch. Rollup for 2 by Effy. Kicks by ZSG. Palm strike trade! Kick by Effy. Blockbuster by Effy. Spear by Effy. Effy kisses and slaps ZSG. Palm strike exchange. They each offer their…posteriors to the other.

Suplex by Effy for 2. Palm strike exchange. Low blow by Effy. F5 by Effy into a dragon sleeper. Rollup by ZSG for 2. Pele kick by ZSG. Zack Driver for 2 by ZSG. Clothesline by Effy, followed by punches and chops. ZSG with a kiss. Zack Rider by Effy for 2. Elbow by Effy. Triangle by ZSG. Effy loses consciousness.

Dark Sheik vs Nyla Rose

For the record, Veda Scott has been an announcing MVP this last week. Code of honor adhered to. Shove by Rose. Takedown by Rose. BIG forearm by Rose. Sheik can’t possibly match strength. Sheik rolls out and throws chairs into the ring, as does Rose. Sheik gets a 2 after a trash can shot. Choke into the corner by Rose. Facebuster by Sheik into a takedown. Bulldog by Sheik on the apron. Plancha by Sheik to the floor. Chair shot by Sheik. Rose with a chop on the outside and mocks Sheik.

Back in the ring, Rose with a senton. Dragon sleeper by Rose. 619 out of nowhere by Sheik. Takedown by Rose. Plunder has been introduced. Sheik with trash can shots. Coast to coast by Sheik for 2. Chokeslam by Rose for 2. Chair shot and a German for 2 by Sheik. Leg drop off the top on a chair by Sheik for 2. Superkick by Sheik for 1. Boot by Rose into a powerbomb. Inside cradle by Sheik for the pin!
