4/17 GRINGO LOCO'S THE WRLD ON LUCHA REPORT FROM LAS VEGAS

Gringo Loco's The WRLD on Lucha is from the Horseshoe Las Vegas as part of The Collective 2026. Our commentary team is John Mosley and Veda Scott 

Jimmy Lloyd vs. KJ Orso vs. Devon Monroe vs. Dulce Tormenta vs. Resplandor vs. Rafael Quintero - Scramble Match

Orso trash talks everyone in a match and he is immediately tossed to the floor. We get down to KJ and Resplandor. KJ comes off the ropes with a springboard backflip and then pokes Resplandor’s eye. Resplandor gets a multirope arm drag. He follows with a handspring back elbow. They fight on the apron and KJ gets a vertical suplex and tosses Resplandor onto the apron. Quintero is next in the ring and runs into a shoulder thrust from KJ. He then nails KJ and gets a leaping roll-up for two. He works KJ in the corner with leaps and kicks. He then gets a leaping back elbow.

Lloyd takes KJ’s place and gets kicks, a neckbreaker on Quintero for driver for two. Monroe takes Quintero’s place and gets a facebuster and a pop-up meteora. Tormenta takes Lloyd’s place and gets an O’Conner roll for two. She follows with a double underhook back kick and a backbreaker. She follows with a short arm clothesline for two. Tormenta goes to the top and KJ nails her and tries to pull off the mask. 

Monroe joins them on top and Monroe gets a hurricanrana from the top on KJ. Monroe dives into everyone on the floor. Tormenta dives from the top onto everyone as well. Quintaro gets into the ring for a double jump tornado off the top rope. Resplandor then hits a shooting star from the top to the floor. KJ is tossed into the ring and Resplandor hits a two jump splash for two. Lloyd suplexes Respledor and follows with a power bomb for two. 

Monroe breaks it up and gets a spinning DDT on Lloyd. Quintero gets into the ring and gets a handspring backflip power bomb for two Monroe. Torments gets a facebuster on Quintero and a low superkick. She then blocks a tejaris from Resplandor and turns it into a blue thunder bomb. She covers, but KJ gets a double stomp to her back and covers Tormenta for the pin and the win

Winner: KJ Orso. 

Righteous Reg joins commentary and John Mosley leaves

Thunder Rosa vs. Julissa Mexa 

They shake hands to start the match. They lock up and break a couple of times before they go to waistlocks. Mexa is able to grapevine the legs and works the knees. They grapple on the mat and Mexa gets a two count. Rosa gets a takedown and then rolls into a cover for one. Rosa gets an arm bar with a headlock. Rosa gets another takedown for two. 

Rose pulls Mexa up and Mexa tries to drop Rosa and Rosa gets a tejaris into the ropes and then gets a charging kick into Mexa to the floor. Mexa knocks Rosa off the apron and then hits a dive. They fight on the floor and then into the chairs. Rosa runs Mexa into the ringpost and goes back to fighting in the empty chairs. 

Rosa sends Mexa into the ring and covers for two. Mexa gets a series of strikes and gives a short dance. Rosa gets an arm drag and whips her to the corner. Mecca goes to the top and hits a chocolate kiss. She then tries for a two rope leap, and Rosa dodges it and does her own dance. Rosa then drops elbows and dances as she takes off her poncho and covers for two. Rosa then slams Mexa into her…swimsuit area three times and covers for two. 

Mexa gets a pair of suplexes for two. Mexa gets a punch and a knee lift and Rosa reverses a power bomb into a hurricanrana and then a running drop-kick to Mexa’s back. Mexa turns around in the ropes and Rosa hits her again, following with a Northern lights suplex to a bridge for two.

Mexa gets a German suplex with a bridge, but Rosa lands sideways and the ref counts two anyway. Rosa gets a series of kicks and then an airplane spin. She stomps Mexa and goes to the top. Mexa catches her on top and throws a slap. Rosa slams her head into the turnbuckle repeatedly. Mexa joins Rosa on top and they fight. Mexa gets a fallaway slam moonsault from the top for two. 

Rosa lays in strikes and gets a fire thunder driver for the pin and the win.

Winner: Thunder Rosa

Rey Horus, Toxin, and Latigo vs. Briyante Jr. and The Mexa Boys (Noisy Boy and Spider Fly) 

This is gonna be too fast for a play by play. 

After handshakes, they all attack and we immediately get dives. Spider Fly works over Latigo in the ring and gets a LOT of high flying stuff. Latigo is sent to the floor by Spider Fly getting a twice around tejaris. Toxin tosses Spider Fly and Noisy Boy takes his place. Noisy Boy is another fast moving high-flier getting a ton of high spot moves on Toxin. He gets an impressive move where he is flipped into the ropes by Toxin, and he handsprings backward and lands with the standard superhero pose. He sends Toxin to the floor with a tejaris. 

Horus is next in the ring and gets a spinning body scissors to sent Noisy Boy to the floor. Briyante is now in with Horus and they run the ropes and he sends Horus to the floor with a double rope tejaris. 

We then move to everyone on Horus’s team sent to the floor again. Briyante’s team takes too long to dive and Horus’ team retakes the ring. Horus beats down Briyante and sends him to the floor. Toxin and Horus work over the Mexi Boys. They send Noisy Boy to the floor and then Spider Fly takes a gut buster and Horus gets a UFO splash for two, broken up by Noisy Boy. 

Briyante gets back into the ring, but he’s alone against Toxin and Horus. Horus and Toxin are sent to the floor and Briyante gets a moonsault from the ringpost. Spider Fly then hits a dive. Noisy Boy and Toxin are in the ring and Toxin is sent to the floor and Noisy Boy gets a tornado over the top onto Toxin.

Toxic is sent into the ring and all of Briyante's team work him over. Briyante hits a frog splash for two. Horus clears house and works on Briyante Horus puts him on top and joins him there. They fight on top and Toxin joins them. Then the Mexa Boys join and power bomb everyone from the top. The Mexi Boys get covers for two. 

Toxin does a humor bit where he can’t quite kip up and asks for another chance. Finally, after the third try, Noisy Boy helps him up. They hug and then Toxin attacks him and sends him to the floor. 

Toxin dives onto him. Briyante is in the ring and he does a dive onto Toxin. Horus and Noisy Boy are in the ring and they go to the top. Horus hits a leaping body scissors slam for the pin and the win.

Winners: Rey Horus, Toxin, and Latigo

Jack Cartwheel vs Galeno Del Mal 

Galeno just towers over Jack, and is probably double his weight.  Galeno piefaces Jack and Jack goes back to yell at him. Galeno piefaces him again. Jack gets a drop-kick and Galeno doesn’t move. They run the ropes and Galeno just trucks him with a forearm. Jack tries to avoid Galeno and gets in kicks to try to get some damage on him. . Galeno grabs Jack and Jack gets an arm drag sending Galeno to the floor. Jack dives onto him and joins Galeno on the floor. Galeno gets a big boot.

Galeno runs Jack into the ringpost. He rolls Jack into the ring and covers for two. He covers again for two. Galena kicks Jack and whips him to the corner. Jack dodges a charge, but Galeno catches him and puts him on top. Galeno nails Jack and Jack sits back up. He does it again and then leaps at Galeno, who catches him and gets a brain buster. He covers for two. Cartwheel rolls to the floor and Galeno follows. Jack lays in chops and Galeno drops Jack with an elbow.

Galeno whips him into the steel steps, but Jack cartwheels over them. Jack tries for a tejaris and Galeno catches him and swings him into the steps. Galeno gets into the ring and the count starts. Jack gets into the ring at 9. He sends Galeno to the floor with a low bridge. Jack dives onto Galeno, who catches him. Jack turns it into a DDT.  Jack rolls Galeno into the ring and flips into the ring onto Galeno. He hits a springboard phoenix splash, but it looks like Jack hurt his arm. Galeno calls a time-out and the ref ends the match. 

Winner: No contest. 

Team Gringo: Arez, Gringo Loco, and Vengador vs Team Dragon Gate: Hyo, Kzy, and Yuki Yoshioka 

Gringo and Kzy start the match and after the trading holds, Gringo gets an arm drag. They lock up again and break. Gringo calls for a handshake and Kzy has no part of it. They run the ropes and Kzy gets an arm drag, dodges a clothesline and does the worm, then they have a handshake and dance for a bit. 

We get tags and it’s Arez with Yuki and they start with waistlocks and arm bars. Yuki grabs a q quick rollup for two. Arez gets a rear rollup for two. They start avoiding each other’s movers until they get arm drags and both miss drop-kicks. 

Hyo and Vengador are tagged in and they run the ropes and Hyo waits to get a great flying leg lariat. Vengador asks for a handshake and Hyu thinks about it and when they do, Hyu tries to walk away and Vengador holds on and pulls him in for a knee. They run the ropes again, and Vengador snatches Hyu and runs him into the turnbuckles. Gringo tags in and hits a moonsault from the top for two. 

Gringo’s team works Hyo over in the corner. Gringo slams Hyu, Vengador gets a long stalling vertical suplex, and Arez just hammers him. Kzy tags in and Gringo’s team works him over. Kzy is tossed in the air and Gringo comes off the top with a power bomb, grabbing him out of the air. They go back to work on Kzy, and Hyu tags in.

Hyu starts to fight his way free and gets a big move on each of Gringo’s team as Yuki and Kzy join him for dives. Arez is rolled into the ring and he becomes the punching bag for Yuki’s team. Gringo takes his pace until he is suplexed for two. Arez is back in and takes over, clearing out Yuki’s team and puts Yuki on top. Arez joins him and they go back and forth until Yuki tries for a sunset flip and Arez holds on until Kzy gets a neckbreaker from the top.

Yuki dives, followed by Gringo diving, and then Vengador after Hyo and Kzy are pulled off the apron. Hyu is rolled into the ring by Vengador. Kzy joins him and they work over Vengador, ensign with Hyu coming off the top for two. Arez, Kzy and Yuki enter the ring and as they are on top Gringo gets on the ropes and gets a double crucifix bomb on Kzy and Yuki.

Vengador gets a pop-up sutter, Arez gets a front the top and Gringo gets a moonsault from the top for the pin and the win.

Winners: Team Gringo: Arez, Gringo Loco, and Vengador

El Desperado vs Vipress 

They lock up and quickly go to waistlocks. They move to arm bars. Desperado picks the leg and they work to their feet. They go back to waistlocks and go to the mat. Desperado gets a one count and rolls to the floor where he starts to pull out plunder. 

He returns to the ring and he puts Vipress on top and Vipress gets a hurricanrana. She then gets an arm drag and hits a lackluster dive. Desperado catches and slams her into chairs and turns it into a Boston Crab. He runs Vipress into the steel steps. They go back and forth with blows and both grab chairs. They bash chairs and Vipress loses her chair, allowing Desperado to use one on her. 

He rolls Vipress to the ring and pulls out a door. He uses chairs to set the door up on them. He returns to the ring, puts Vipress on top and nearly falls out of the ring. He goes up top and they fight until Vipress gets a superplex. Vipress lays in blows and gets a Death Valley driver into the turnbuckles for two. Desperado gets a back body drop and then a brain buster for two. Desperado goes to the top and Vipress meets him there. They fight on top and Virpess tosses him off the top into the door he set up earlier.

Vipress dives onto him from the ring. They return to the ring and Vipress gets a flying cross body for two. Vipress lays in blows and charges at him and he hits a spinebuster and follows up with a blue thunder bomb for two. Both wrestlers are down and they struggle to get up. They throw hands and they get to their feet. Desperado finally batters Vipress down and then tries to butterfly the arms and Vipress escapes for a hurricanrana for two. She then gets a running knee and tries to pick Desperado up, but he reverses it into a dead eye for two. 

Vipress gets a destroyer for two. Desperado gets a tombstone like driver for two. Desperado gets a double underhook facebuster for two. Desperado goes to the floor and starts tossing in chairs. Vipress gets to her feet and throws weak chops. Desperado says bring it on and she does. Desperado hits another double underhook facebuster for the pin and the win.

Winner: El Desperado
