By Richard Trionfo on 2026-04-13 22:30:00

Your announcers are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

Roman says you should have enjoyed your time and enjoyed your relevance.  When I won the Royal Rumble, what did you do?  You lied.  You tried to revise his history.  His fan base lived through it all and all you did was expose yourself as a hypocrite.  What did I say?  Embarrassing.  He says he liked Pat, but never has a punter run his mouth to him.  Nobody believes in you.  This isn't 2012.  They trust him.  He will give you one more opportunity tonight Phil.  You tell the truth, or he will.

We take a look back at the contract-less contract signing from last week.

Adam welcomes everyone to Raw.  To make sure this match makes it to Wrestleania, Oba and Brock will sign the contract separately.

Paul says this Sunday, in the real main event of Wrestlemania, here is something that is not a prediction, but a spoiler.  There will be a winner and there will be a loser.  The loser's name is Oba Femi.  To go balls deep into the rumors that Brock can win this, he will be the winner of he match.

Oba signs the contract and gives it back to Pearce.

Oba is handed a mic and Triple H points up the aisle to show Oba Paul Heyman.

Paul says he has never seen someone come across to the audience as the biggest star as fast as Oba Femi.  He says he knows where he is safe and where he is not.  Since you are a violent man, he will stay here.  You are the most violent person to come into WWE since . . . Brock Lesnar.  You are the fastest rising star to the top since . . . Brock Lesnar.  You are the most impressive athlete, fighter, or combat athlete . . .

On Sunday it comes to an end and comes crashing down in Suplex City.  It comes crashing down with an F5 when you are conquered by Brock Lesnar.  Paul says there is no shame in this loss. You are in the real main event of Wrestlemania.  When you are conquered, Paul promises that when you need to rebuild your career, his door will always be open to you.

Oba says it is taking everything not to come down the aisle to take you from pillar to post.  The physical scars will heal.  Oba says if he beats Paul up, the physical scars will heal, but the emotional scars to beat Brock will last forever.  Oba says the only door he needs is already open.  The door to Wrestlemania.  You and Brock made an open challenge to anyone who dared to step up.  Why should you worry because of Brock's inability to be beat.  I have four weeks to show that he can.

It has never been personal.  This time the business is different.  Everyone can feel it.  It is time to put an end to the Beat and you have been there the whole time.  You have been a good mouthpiece, but never an honest one.  If you were honest, you would say that your client is scared of Oba Femi.  He says he will win at Wrestlemania and slay the beast.  Oba says he is the one and he has always been the one.

Oba says he is the one and he knows it.  They know it.  At Wrestlemania, you will know it too.

Pearce says he has to call the person back but Danhausen has left the room.

Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring.

Roman looks around and he wants some acknowledging.

Since Roman's promo is done, CM Punk's music plays and he makes his way to the ring through the crowd.

Punk says after watching that smear campaign in the cold open, he is here to tell the truth.  You can be the jury and executioner.  Tell him when he is telling lies.

Roman tells Punk if he gets in this ring, they won't need these mics.

Punk says the truth is that he hates Roman.  He hates Roman because he envies him.  This is all he ever wanted.  It is the only dream he had in his heart since he was a little kid.  He envies the fact that it was handed to you.  He hates that you were champion for 1,316 days because after some self reflection he knows how hard you worked your ass off.  In the history books when they talk about legacy, they will not ask how, but how many.  He hates how many times Roman has main evented Wrestlemania.  He asks Roman if he is lying.

He hates that he feels this way.  Punk says Sika was a great man and a great wrestler.  He was a champion and a hall of famer.  He loves and respects the old timers.  He hates that he invoked his father's name in vain and he apologizes.

Punk enters the ring and walks up to Roman.

Punk says he hates that there is more than one royal family in wrestling.  He hates that he envies that he wasn't born into a dynasty.   He doesn't know what it is like to have that family.  He was born in the backyards and alleys in Chicago.  He found his family in the streets of Sacramento.  He found them in the locker room of every VFW, bowling alley, and abandoned churches.  He found his family on the indies.  He went to Japan, England, and Puerto Rico.  He wasn't born on third base.  He busted his ass and made pro wrestling his home.

Punk says he hates that he feels this way and that he has to share anything with Roman, especially his first singles match headlining Wrestlemania.  On Sunday, he has gold on his shoes, around his waist, and late Sunday night, when the dry air gets cold and steam rises off his blood caked face, he will have gold above his head as he is announced the champion.

Roman says that is probably the truest stuff you have said, until the end.

Roman says he hates Punk too and has hated him for a long time.  The main reason is because of your relationship with all of them.  He hopes that when he leaves, they miss him as much as they miss you.  He hopes that they chant for him for ten years.  You have the connection with the fans and no one can take that from you.

The reality is that the time is up.  You were given two months to hold this relevancy.  It won't be 'and still' on Sunday, it will be 'and new'.  This little nostalgia act is done.  We fix this mess that you started.  We make this place at the top worth every dollar.  He goes back on top and the world will acknowledge him.

We go to credits.
