The original plan for Smackdown last night was for Jade Cargill vs. IYO SKY to open the show after the Rhea Ripley promo. The Pat McAfee promo and segment would have closed the show. Over the course off the day, they flipped those segments.
The Drew McIntyre segment was filmed in New Jersey, we are told.
Molly Holly produced the Zelina Vega vs. Jordynne Grace match that was taped for this week's edition of Main Event. This was Grace's return from her ankle injury and we are told she looked good and the match was very fun.
