KNOCKOUTS MAIN EVENT, EIGHT MAN TAG, THE DEVIL IS BACK AND MORE: 4/3 TNA THURDAY NIGHT IMPACT REPORT

By Mike Johnson on 2026-04-03 00:15:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's TNA Thursday Night Impact report!

We are live to tape from New Orleans with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt!

Mike Santana opened the show with a promo, noting his victory over Steve Maclin, noting he defeated one of the toughest competitors in the company. He reminded fans that he promised to leave Sacrifice as TNA World Champion and fulfilled that promise. Santana then shifted his focus to Eddie Edwards ahead of their scheduled clash at Rebellion.  Eddie Edwards interrupted, accompanied by Cedric Alexander. Edwards reminded Santana that he scored a pinfall victory over him last week and stated that when he captures the TNA World Championship at Rebellion, The System will effectively take control of TNA. Santana countered by questioning Edwards’ confidence, suggesting that if Edwards truly believed that, he would already be in the ring fighting him.

Cedric Alexander then addressed X Division Champion Leon Slater, accusing him of avoiding a rematch. Slater came out and responded, reminding Alexander that he defeated him nine months ago and stating he would do so again. Alexander replied that he no longer cares about fan support, instead focusing solely on The System holding all the championships following Rebellion.

Mustafa Ali and Order 4 made their way to the ring, further escalating the segment. Ali stated his intention to defeat Trey Miguel for the International Championship at Rebellion. Miguel came out and fired back, calling Ali a coward who relies on numbers. He added that regardless of Ali’s approach, he would not be leaving with the title. Ali responded with a verbal jab as tensions continued to escalate.

Santana challenged them to a fight. Ali pointed out the imbalance, but Moose came out to even the odds somewhat. Moose immediately attacked and in the chaos, Santino Marella  announced an eight man tag team bout.

TNA Champion Mike Santana & X-Division Champion Leon Slater & International Champion Trey Miguel & Moose vs. Mustafa Ali & Agent Zero & Eddie Edwards & Cedric Alexander.

Moose started the match vs. Ali, who quickly tagged out to Alexander. Moose dominated the early exchange, overwhelming Alexander. Santana entered but was briefly cut off by a cheap shot from Edwards, who was unable to maintain control. Santana regained momentum and tagged in Slater.  Slater and Santana worked effectively as a team, isolating Edwards with double-team offense. Slater connected with a rana from the middle rope but was later driven into the apron by Alexander, who followed up with a dropkick to the back of the neck.  Frequent tags with the heels in control, working over Trey Miguel. Miguel mounted brief comebacks but was repeatedly cut off through interference and double-team tactics. Agent Zero delivered a chokeslam, and the heels continued to control the pace.

Miguel eventually created separation with a clothesline to Ali and, after further exchanges, made the hot tag to Santana. Santana entered with offense, taking down Edwards with a flying knee and diving onto Alexander on the floor. He hit a frog splash on Edwards, but Ali broke up the pin attempt. The match broke down into a series of multi-man exchanges and high-impact sequences.  Santana hit a rolling stunner on Alexander, but Edwards capitalized shortly after with a Boston Knee Party, scoring the pinfall over Santana.

Your winners, The System & Order Four.

Backstage, Daria Rae complained to Santino about his decision to make the eight man tag, saying he was in trouble with the board.

A separate backstage segment featured talents welcoming Ricky Sosa.

The Hardys cut a promo.  Vincent and Dutch interrupted, with Vincent claiming that love requires sacrifice and they are all truly family. Dutch said The Hardys were not victims, but “the offering.” The Hardys issued a challenge for next week, which The Righteous accepted   Jeff Hardy said they would fight in a Tables Match for the TNA Tag Team Championships.

Backstage, a bunny abducted Victoria Crawford while she was walking with Tessa Blanchard.  Is Adam Rose afoot?

Tessa Blanchard vs. Jody Threat in a Bunkhouse Match

Blanchard attacked Threat during her entrance.  They brawled and used lots of weapons, including trash cans, Singapore Canes, chairs, and a bull rope. Threat gained early control with weapon offense, but Blanchard recovered and took over portions of the match.  They exchanged control with multiple weapon spots, including a powerbomb on the ring apron by Threat. Blanchard later used a belt as a weapon, striking Threat before applying it as a choke. The finish saw Blanchard choking Threat with the belt.  The referee stopped it.

Your winner, Tessa Blanchard!

Ryan Nemeth attempted to find out who attacked Nic Nemeth but ran into Elijah, who ran him off.

The Bunny was shown leading Tessa Blanchard into a crimson room.

AJ Francis vs. Home Town Man

Francis overpowered HTM early.  HTM mounted a comeback, including a slam, but quickly cut off. Francis finished the match with a spear followed by a chokeslam for the pinfall.  Short.

Your winner, AJ Francis!

Francis cut a promo revealed he attacked Nic Nemeth at the PPV.  He claimed Nemeth has been taking opportunities from him and would destroy him again at the PPV.

Lei Ying Lee pscyhed up Xia Brookside for her Knockouts title match tonight.

TNA Knockouts Champion Arianna Grace vs. Xia Brookside

Stacks and Lee are ringside.  Brookside looked good early with quick offense, working over the arm.  Grace regained control following interference from Stacks at ringside.   Brookside mounted a comeback with strikes and a Tornado DDT.   They battled back and forth with both Stacks and Lee interjecting.  Grace used the championship belt while the referee was distracted, striking Brookside to score the win.

Your winner and still Knockouts Champion, Arianna Grace!

Grace and Stacks attacked after the bell but Mike Santana made the save. Eddie Edwards appeared in the crowd and said that after he defeated Santana twice, Mike has lost control and now Eddie will beat him at Rebellion.

We ended with the Devil, Father James Mitchell appearing, welcoming Tessa Blanchard to "The Undead Realm.”  Interesting!!
