TNA announced:
Nic Nemeth Invites Legendary Former Cleveland Browns Quarterback Bernie Kosar To Be In His Corner At Rebellion
Nic Nemeth is ready for the Rebellion pay-per-view on Saturday, April 11, in his hometown: Cleveland, Ohio. And the former TNA Wrestling World Champion has invited help in his yet-to-be-announced match at the spring showcase event.
Nemeth today formally invited former Cleveland Browns legendary quarterback Bernie Kosar to be in his corner at Rebellion.
Kosar played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, leading the team to a national championship in 1983. He then played in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns from 1985 to 1993, the Dallas Cowboys in 1993, and Miami Dolphins in 1994. He was a member of the 1993 Dallas Cowboys team that won Super Bowl XXVIII, serving as a backup quarterback behind Troy Aikman.
Will Kosar come to Rebellion? Nemeth has told close friends that, yes, Kosar 100 percent will be in his corner at Rebellion.
The Rebellion pay-per-view marks TNA Wrestling’s return to Cleveland for the first time since 2013. Rebellion will be held at the Wolstein Center on the campus of Cleveland State University.
Cleveland fans can perhaps look forward to seeing two hometown legends united on April 11 — Nemeth in the ring and Kosar in his corner — as TNA Wrestling returns to the city for the first time in over a decade.
