Where are Taven and Bennett?
Matt Taven has departed AEW and has since wrestled in Florida's BRCW. Mike Bennett is, to the best of my knowledge, still contracted to AEW.
Who was the older man the cameras were fixated on when Chris Jericho returned on AEW?
I believe that was his father, Ted Irvine.
You mentioned you thought Chris Jericho would return tomorrow on Audio, were you sure on that or just a good guess?
When I mentioned it, I was joking because it was Winnipeg, nothing more. If I knew for sure he was there, I'd have reported. I did ask earlier in the day and he wasn't in the venue, so they hid him well. Kudos to AEW for that.
What did you think of the return?
It was a nice moment that made the crowd live happy. Hopefully the surprise led to people tuning in as they heard he was on. We will see.
Who should Chris Jericho wrestle first?
The person Tony Khan wants to get over as a bigger name. Jericho's role, to me, should be similar to what Terry Funk did for ECW, raising the profile and legitimacy of the next generation that needs to rise into main events to keep AEW fresh.
I'm watching old Wrestlemanias and I have a question. Why was RUN DMC booked for Wrestlemania V?
They were one of the biggest rap groups on the planet in 1989. Their Raising Hell record had moved over 3 million albums and they were a big part of pop culture at that point, even putting Adidas sneakers on the map. They were booked to add some celebrity flair to the show, especially since New Jersey wasn't far from their native NYC. DMC especially has always been a huge wrestling fan. I've seen him at WWE shows countless times over the years with his famiy.
Who is the biggest celebrity WWE could get at this point to sell out Wrestlemania?
My guess would be Taylor Swift or President Trump. Each has legions of fans loyal to them to the nth degree. I don't see either happening.
