FIRST MLP TAG CHAMPIONS CROWNED, SWANN VS. RICOCHET, GISELE VS. DEONNA, MLP TITLE UPDATE & MORE: COMPLETE MLP X ROH GLOBAL WARS COVERAGE FROM WINDSOR, ONTARIO

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor present Global Wars, from Windsor, Ontario at St. Clair College. Our commentary team is Mauro Ranallo, Ian Riccaboni, and Don Callis.

Eddie Kingston and Ortiz vs Adam Priest and Tommy Billington

Eddie calls for the Code of Honor and Priest obliges. They lock up and release quickly before locking up again and move to Priest getting a side headlock takedown. Eddie reverses and Priest breaks it with a head scissors. Eddie grabs Priest and pulls him into the corner where Ortiz is tagged in and they get a two man suplex and Ortiz converts for two. Ortiz grabs an arm drag and Billington is able to tag in. Billington gets a slam for two.

Priest and Billington get a two man suplex and Priest covers for two. Priest gets a slam and a Priest chops him down for one. Billington gets a tag and a cover for one only. He gets a snap mare and Ortiz counters a pickup and slams Billington for two. Eddie is tagged in and gets a drop-kick for two. Eddie holds an arm bar to keep Billington down for a bit and as Billington gets up, Eddie gets a full nelson suplex. Billington forces them to his corner where Priest tags in and beats down Eddie.

Priest wraps an arm in the rope and holds it for a four count. Priest gets to work on the arm with an arm bar. Eddie fights free and Priest snaps Eddie to the mat by the arm. Billington tags in and Eddie tries to chop his way free, but they get a double team suplex. Ortiz tags in to eureka up the pin and all four men throw hands. They fight until all four men are down.

Ortiz is up and tries to fight off Billington and Priest, but Priest gets a signal leg crab on Ortiz and Billington gets a crossface. Eddie and Billington roll to the floor and Ortiz breaks free. He and Priest trade two counts. Billington tags in and is knocked to the floor. Priest hits Priest and Eddie comes off the top with a bulldog. Billington, the legal man, goes to the top with a double drop-kick.

Billington hits snap suplexes on Ortiz and Eddie. He puts Ortiz on top and gets an avalanche suplex as Eddie tags in. Eddie gets an Oklahoma roll on Billington for the pin and the win.

Winners: Eddie Kingston and Ortiz

We get an update from Josh Alexander that he needs knee surgery and can’t defend his title tonight. 

Nic Nemeth announced that in his hometown of Cleveland, he's calling his title shot for Rebellion.

Red Velvet (ROH Women's TV Champion) vs Alice Crowley

Crowley is from GCW. 

Alice gets a quick rollup for two and Red gets a casadora into a rollup for two. Red gets a backslide for two. Alice gets a Mongolian thrust to Red’s throat and grabs a headlock. Alice gets a shoulder block. Red gets a leg lariat. They fight through the ropes and Red gets a cover for two. They move to the apron again and Alice snaps Red on the top rope and then rolls Red into the ring. Alice gets a snap suplex and covers for one.

Alice works over Red in the corner. Red fights back to the middle of the ring and Alice drops her and covers for two. Alice gets a chip in the corner, but misses the second. Red gets chops on Alice in the corner and then leans a foot in Alice’s face. Red charges, and Alice gets a drop toe hold into the buckles for two.

Alice gets a fisherman’s suplex with a bridge for two. They run the ropes and Red gets a snap mare and a pair of clotheslines. Red gets a casadora into a bulldog. Red gets a meteora into Alice’s back in the ropes and then hits a standing moonsault for two. Alice gets a pair of knee strikes, a big pump kick and a Saito suplex for two. 

Alice gets to the top and Red joins her there and hits an iconoclasm for two. Alice gets a rollup for two. Alice gets an air raid crash for two. Red blocks attacks off the ropes and gets a big kick. Alice is able to grab Red for a slam for two. Red dodges strikes from Alice and gets the Chef’s Kiss spin kick for the pin and the win.

Winner and still ROH Women's World TV Champion: Red Velvet. 

Sam Leterna is with Deonna Purrazzo in the back and Deonna says that Gisele Shaw is the type of wrestler she wanted to wrestle. Shaw has not been in a pure wrestling match so she will walk out having shown Shaw "Pure Purrazzo." 

Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, and Lee Johnson) vs Psycho Mike, Bhupinder Gujjar, and Evil Uno

Lethal and Mike start They lock up and Lethal gets a side headlock. Mike pushes him off and Lethal gives us the Strut. They lock up again and Mike gets a side headlock and they run the ropes. Mike gets a shoulder tackle. Mike asks who wants to see a body slam and the crowd pops. Lethal rolls to the floor. Lethal runs from Mike around the ring. When they return to the ring, Mike grabs him and tries for a body slam, then the rest of the Swirl breaks it up.

Gujjar and Lee tag in and they lock up and Gujjar gets a tejaris and gets an elbow in the corner. They run the ropes and Gujjar gets a drop-kick, covering for two. Lee drives Gujjar into the corner and works him over there. Blake tags in and suplexes Gujjar. Gujjar is tied in the tree of woe, and the Swirl is able to knock Uno off the apron and they hit a series of moves on Gujjar.

Lethal tags in and tries to suplex Gujjar, who reverses and gets a chop. Lethal is able to reverse it as well into a DDT. As the ref keeps Uno out of the ring, Lethal and Lee snap Gujjar’s legs. Blake tags in and he and Lee snap Gujjar’s leg. They hit a super kick and cover for two. Gujjar fights his way out of the Swirl’s corner and gets a leaping cross body from the top onto Lethal. 

Gujjar crawls for the tag in Uno, and as Lee tags in, Uno runs wild handing out splashes in the corners on Lee and Lethal. Uno gets a bulldog lariat on Lethal, running into Lee as well. Uno goes for a suplex on Lee, but Blake tries to break it up. Uno gets a DDT on Blake, a shoulder breaker on Lee for two, broken up by Lethal. 

Uno and Lethal trade waistlocks and Uno gets a neckbreaker after Uno hands the ref one of Lethal’s legs. Mike gets the hot tag and it’s time for body slams on all the members on Lethal Swirl. Mike then slams Blake onto everyone on the floor. He then dives onto everyone on the floor. 

Lethal is rolled into the ring and Lethal escapes out the back and it’s time for everyone to get a big move on the last person in the ring. Mike sets for a body slam on Lethal, who pokes the eye. Blake picks up Mike, Lee gets a stomp on him from the top and Lethal gets a Lethal Twist for the pin and the win. 

Winners: Lethal Twist

Gisele Shaw cuts a promo that she knows what Deonna Purrazzo brings to the ring, and she will be able to beat her and take her title. 

Deonna Purrazzo (ROH Women's Pure Wrestling Champion) vs Gisele Shaw (MLP Women's Champion)

Shaw’s title is not on the line.

They follow the Code of Honor and we are told they have wrestled 17 times.

They lock up and move to arm bars before breaking. They lock up again and Shaw picks the leg. Deonna reverses into a leg bar and Shaw escapes and drops Deonna. They lock up and run the ropes with Deonna stopping before running into Shaw and grabbing an arm bar takedown. Deonna goes for a rollup and then her arm bar and Shaw goes to the ropes.

Shaw has one rope break.

Shaw rolls to the floor to regroup. Deonna waits for her and Shaw re-enters the ring and gets a kick to Deonna and they fight in the corner with Shaw getting a big knee and knocking her to the floor; Shaw kicks Deonna and follows Deonna to the floor. She slams Deonna’s arm on the apron and then on the steel steps. Shaw rolls Deonna into the ring for a one count. Shaw grabs a wristlock and Deonna works to her feet and tries to work her way free, but Shaw pulls the hair for a takedown for two. Shaw mounts for a ground and pound and the ref breaks it up.

Shaw gets a series of charges in the corner. Deonna gets a boot up and then drops the knee from the second turnbuckle. They clothesline each other down. They struggle to their fewer, Deonna gets a series of clotheslines, a Russian Leg Sweep and the arm bar. Shaw breaks free and Deonna gets a clothesline for two. 

Shaw tries for a power bomb, and Shaw is able to get an uppercut and struggles for an arm bar. Deonna knocks her into the coroner and gets a kick in the corner. Shaw gets a twisting neckbreaker for two and then grabs an arm bar. Deonna grabs a rope for the break.

Deonna has one rope break.

They go back and forth in the middle of the ring. Shaw is able to get Shock and Awe for two. She fumes for a bit and covers again for two. Deonna grabs the arm bar and Shaw gets a foot on the rope as Deonna goes for the Venus De Milo.

Shaw has two rope breaks. 

Shaw fights off a pile driver and gets a jack knife cover for two. Deonna gets a package pile driver for two and then then arm bar, and Shaw grabs the rope.

Shaw has used all three rope breaks.

Deonna gets a series of stomps on Shaw and Shaw gets out of a pickup. They run the ropes, and Shaw runs into a big boot. Shaw gets a super kick into a Michinoku driver into an arm bar. Deonna goes to the ropes for a break.

Deonna has two rope breaks.

Shaw misses a running knee and Deonna gets a two count. Deonna grabs an arm bar in the middle of the ring and Shaw rolls through for two. Deonna grabs the arm bar again and Shaw grabs the rope, but she has no more rope breaks. Deonna gets the second arm for the Venus De Milo and Shaw has to tap out.

Rohan Raja (PWA Champion's Grail Holder) vs Stu Grayson

Stu immediately hits a Busiako knee for two. Raja goes to the floor and Stu dives onto him. When they return to the ring, Stu gets a flurry of offense and Raja has no answer for any of it. Raja goes to the apron to escape and Stu sweeps his legs and then gets a senton over the top rope to the floor. Raja gets back in the ring and Stu lays in a series of blows. Stu hits a back suplex and goes to the top and Raja drop-kicks Stu to the floor.

Stu gets into the ring and Raja lays in blows, but Stu gets to his feet and lays in blows. Raja gets a backstabber for a one count. Raja gets a series of big kicks. Raja gets a chop in the corner, but Stu fights out of the corner. Raja runs Stu into the middle turnbuckle and stomps on his back. Raja whips Stu into the corner, who hits hard and drops to the mat. Raja whips Stu across the ring again. Raja lays in stomps and whips him across the ring, but Stu pops out of the corner with a lariat and both men are down. Stu gets an insigiri when Raja charges. Raja gets a series of blows when he returns and covers Stu for two. 

Raja mocks Stu with slaps and as Stu gets up, the slaps and then forearms do nothing. Stu lays in blows on Raja and Dodges a discus lariat and hits a Pele kick on Raja. They work to their feet and throw hands. Stu finally gets a series of clotheslines that drop Raja. Raja gets a strong forearm and Stu is able to get a belly to belly suplex. Stu gets two more.

They fight in the corner and Stu gets a swinging DDT and goes for the springboard moonsault, but Raja gets the knees up. Stu gets a flatliner and follows with a springboard suplex for two. Stu tries for a suplex, but Raja lands on his feet for a swinging sidewalk slam for two and holds on for the Rings of Saturn, but Stu rolls through. Stu gets a power bomb and holds on for two.

Stu puts Raja on top and joins him to hit a super plex. Stu drops the knee pad, but Raja grabs a small package for the pin and the win.

Winner and still PWA Champion's Grail Holder: Rohan Raja

Sam Leterna is with Ricochet in the back and he says he is a winner and Rick Swann is a loser, so tonight Swann will learn Ricochet has leveled up.  

Michael Oku vs. Jake Crist vs. Daisuke Sasaki vs. Michael Allen Richard Clark vs. Ace Austin vs. Brent Banks

Clark grabs a mic after being the first person in the ring and says he is getting disrespect and the crowd tells him they would rather he would not speak with profane language. Clark says he is a Hall of Famer in the push-up hall of fame and is cut off as the others get their entrances. 

Everyone misses clotheslines in a row and then everyone but Oku and Banks are thrown to the floor.

Banks gets a rollup for two and then Oku gets a tejaris and a drop-kick and then a single leg crab.

Sasaki breaks it up and goes for a crossface on Oku, who breaks out. Sasaki gets a spear on Oku

Crist takes Oku’s place and covers Sasaki after a series of moves.

Clark comes in and takes Sasaki’s place

Ace then takes Crist’s place, Clark and Ace run the ropes. 

Ace fights on the apron until Clark knocks Ace to the floor and dive onto him.

Sasaki knocks Clark to the floor and then dives onto Clark.

Oku takes to the ring and starts for a dive, but Crist dives instead. 

Oku and Crist fight on the apron. 

Banks hits a drop-kick on both and ruins the ropes with Ace

Banks gets a drop-kick on Ace. He goes to the top where Sasaki crotches him on the top.

Ace, Sasaki and Crist fight in the corner. Ace is able to hoist Sasaki and Crist.

Clark drop-kicks Ace and then does push-ups on Ace’s back. 

Everyone take out the last person in the ring

Clark gets a power slam on Crist, pin is broken up by Sasaki

Sasaki gets a series of attacks and gets a crossface on Crist, Ace gets a Muta lock on Sasaki and Oku gets a double stomp on the pile.

Ace gets a clothesline on Oku, then a Russian leg sweep on Oku, and then leg drops both Sasaki and Oku

Banks gets a tornado from the top onto Ace and then a Michinoku driver onto Ace

Oku grabs a crucifix pin on Banks.

Oku gets a moonsault on Banks and then dives onto everyone at ringside.

Oku goes to the top and leaps into a Death Valley Driver from Crist, who then hits Sliced Bread and a Key Crusher for two. 

Crist goes to the top and Banks joins him there. Clark breaks them up and Banks gets a blue thunder bomb on Clark.

Banks goes to the top as does Crist, and Christ leaps into Banks for two. Oku gets a frog splash on Crist for the pin and the win.

Winner: Michael Oku

Super fast-paced spot fest, well put together. 

We get a hype video for the next match.

Athena (ROH Women's Champion) vs Taylor Rising

They sort of adhere to the Code of Honor as Athena holds her hand out as if to be kissed and Taylor shakes it.

They lock up and Athena forces them to the corner and then drops Taylor before breaking. Taylor goes to lock up and Athena pops her in the face. As Athena gloats, Taylor grabs her from behind and they get a flying head scissors takedown. She then hits a tejaris and drops Athena to the apron. Taylor gets a tiger feint kick. Taylor dives and Athena catches her and tosses her into the apron.

Athena works over Taylor on the floor and rolls her into the ring. Athena follows with a PK and covers for one. Athena hits a series of knee strikes. Taylor gets a small package as Athena tries to suplex her. Athena gets a shotgun drop-kick and then grabs a rear face lock. Taylor breaks free with elbows. Athena gets a clothesline for two. 

Athena grabs a face lock and a series of rising knee strikes. Athena works her to the mat and Taylor works to her feet, fight free and get a rollup for two. Taylor fights out of an electric chair into a rollup for two. Taylor gets a double stomp on Athena and both women are down. Taylor gets a series of clotheslines and then a codebreaker. Taylor gets another tiger feint kick and follows with a facebuster for two. 

Both women are slow to get up and Taylor gets a big boot into a pedigree, but Athena breaks free and gets a knee lift. Athena gets a running clothesline into a Samoan Driver for two. Athena argues with the ref. Athena nails a series of slaps and shouts at Taylor. Athena poses for the crowd and goes to the top. Taylor meets her there and they fight on top. Taylor gets a super plex for two. Taylor gets a sunset flip into a DDT for two.

Taylor goes to the top, Athena runs into a big kick, and then a codebreaker for two. Taylor tries for a pump handle, but Athena blocks up and Taylor turns it into a German suplex. Athena gets a Saito suplex and goes to the corner and starts to stomp for a super kick. Taylor catches the leg and gets a discus punch. Athena gets a power bomb and a suplex into a Coquina clutch and Taylor has to tap out.

We then get the announcement from Scott D’Amore that MLP Mayhem premieres on TSN in July.  

Ricochet vs. Rich Swann

These two have wrestled 75 times.

There is no Code of Honor here.

Ricochet leaves the ring to stall. When he returns to the ring, they lock up and Ricochet forces them to the corner. They break clean, and lock up again and Swann forces them to the corner and they break clean. They work arms bars, They break and go to opposite corners. They lock up again, and Ricochet turns it into a straightjacket hold. Swann tries to reverse it and Ricochet powers him down. Swann whips Ricochet and Ricochet grabs the hold again. Swann reverses and Ricochet tries to escape by dropping to the mat. Ricochet tries to whip Swann who rolls through.

They go back and forth with attempted high-flying moves and Ricochet finally gets a drop-kick that connects. They run the ropes and Swann gets a tejaris and a drop-kick. Ricochet goes to the floor and Swann hits a cannonball to the outside. Swann works over Ricochet on the floor with chops. Ricochet is rolled into the ring, and Swann slams him into the top turnbuckle. Swann gets ten in the corner and then a big right hand when Ricochet comes out of the corner.

Ricochet hits with a slap and Swann beats him down. Ricochet drops Swann across the rope and then gets a corkscrew kick. Ricochet works over Swann on the mat. Swann rolls to the floor when Ricochet lays in chops and slams Swann into the floor. Ricochet lays in stomps as Swann rolls into the ring. He then lays in chops on Swann in the corner, whiles Swann into the opposite corner and follows with a clothesline. Ricochet whips Swann into the corner and hits a massive chop. 

Ricochet whips Swann again and follows with an uppercut. Swann finally gets a big boot out of the corner and then another from the ropes. Swann gets a leaping lariat and starts to power up. Swann gets a series of jabs and then a neck breaker. Swann gets rolling thunder into a small package for two. Ricochet dumps Swann over the top rope and snaps Swann neck on the top. Swann gets an insigiri on Ricochet on the apron. They go back and forth and fight into the ring.

Ricochet gets a German suplex, a springboard moonsault off the second rope for two and then a standing shooting star press for two. Ricochet gives disrespectful kicks and taunts Swann. Swann powers up in the corner and lays in a series of blows. They fight back and forth with Swann ending it with an insigiri. Swann gets a frog splash from the top for two.

Swann takes his time to get to his feet as Ricochet is on the mat. Swann hits a big kick to Ricochet’s chest and starts yelling at him. Swann gets a pair of kicks and Ricochet gets to his feet and they throw hands. Ricochet is able to get a Northern Lights suplex into a Michinoku driver for two. 

Ricochet misses a spirit gun and Swann gets a poisonrana and Ricochet gets one as well and then Vertigo for two. Ricochet gets a Spirit Gun for the pin and the win.

Winner: Ricochet

We are told that tomorrow night an interim MLP World Champion will be crowd in a multi-man match. 

The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) vs The Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Leona) vs Bishop Dyer and Kaito Kiyomiya vs Sheldon Jean and Bryce Hansen - This match determines the first-ever MLP Tag Team Champions.

GOA attacks everyone before the bell and everyone starts brawling in the ring. 

The brawl spills to the floor. 

All of the smaller guys start diving

Kaito and Karl throw hands in the ring as the bell rings and the match starts.

They run the ropes and Kaito gets a leaping elbow drop. 

Dyer is tagged in and they get a double drop-kick on Karl

Kaun tags in as does Gallows and Gallows works over Kaun in their corner. 

Gallows gets a series of elbow drops and covers for one only.

Karl tags in and they double-team Kaun, and Karl covers for two.

Hanson tags in and Kaun has to leave. 

Hanson is dropped by Karl, but Hanson is able to rake the eyes.

Kaun tags Hanson out, and GOA knocks everyone off the apron before double-teaming Karl for two.

Karl is worked over by GOA with quick tags.

Karl gets some chops before Toa slams him and holds him down with a nerve hold. 

Karl works to his feet and fights free before getting a jawbreaker. 

Jean tags Toa out. Jean and Hanson work over Karl. 

Hanson is the legal man and gets a two count on Karl.

Jean is tagged back in and he continues working over Karl, who tries to fight free, but fails.

Karl forces Jean into the GOA corner and they tag in and Jean has to leave as they double-team Karl.

Karl fights free and gets a neck breaker on Hanson.

Gallows is tagged in and cleans house ending with a jackhammer on Hanson for two, broken up by Jean.

Kaito and Kaun both tag in, Kaito gets a series of clotheslines and then a drop-kick.

Kaito gets a dragon screw on Gallows and then a jumping knee on Kaun. He follows with a shining wizard and covers. 

This sets off the tag team siren and everyone takes out the last person in the ring into everyone is down and recovering

Gallows and Kaito are left in the ring and Toa gets into the ring and hoists Kaito. Gallows attacks and Toa hoists Gallows as well for the fallaway slam.

Toa is dragged out of the ring and Kaun gets a dive onto Jean and Hanson. Toa then clotheslines Hansen and Jean.

In the ring, the Good Brothers run Kaito into Dyer and then hit the magic killer on Dyer for the pin and the win.

Winners and new MLP Tag Team Champions: The Good Brothers

Dyer stays in the ring and hits the deep six on Kaito as we lose the signal. We’ll be back tomorrow night for MLP Uprising.
