Spotlight Match: Will Keidis vs Darren Richardson
Richardson impresses with his flips and highly athletic offense. Keidis might jet lagged from his flight from Australia and hating on us for remembering that we think he looks like Gomez Addams…but he puts Richardson away with a vicious tornado leg lariat.
Match 1: Big Bacon Brad Hollister vs Oxx Adams (w/ BRG)
Maybe Bacon can take Oxx out of the equation for tonight’s main event. Bacon is clearly ready to fight and goes right for the big man. Oxx might be getting staggered but every shot he lands turns Bacon into crumbles. Hollister stays on it, he drives Oxx into the corner and pummels him with hip attacks. A huge German doesn’t get the job done but BRG is looking worried. Oxx goes for a chokeslam but Bacon sends him to the apron. Bacon going for the tornado jackhammer…this would be a CRAZY spot but BRG pulls Oxx to safety and tells him to take the countout.
BRG grabs the mic to start ripping into Hollister and he completely misses that Krule comes out of the back and and choke/drags Oxx through the curtain. And who is left standing behind BRG? THE REST OF BIG BUSINESS! BRG runs away. Love Doug gets the mic and says that he needs to get some payback to Erik Chacha for costing them their match on Thursday. It’s Big Business vs Bombs Over Beyond!
Match 2: Bombs Over Beyond (Rickey Shane Page, Kennedi Copeland & Erik Chacha w/ Jake Gray) vs Big Business (Love Doug, Julio Cruz & Victor Chase)
Welcome back again Kennedi Copeland! Love Doug wants to take her to prom! She’s never been to prom and kicks off of that. Bring in Chacha and he starts landing some heavy kicks to the chest. Chacha is in the bad corner and is getting covered in bricks. RSP and gets into a big meaty clothesline battle with Big Rizz Victor Chase! BoB running a unicorn stampede on Doug! He’s crawling free and Kennedi intercepts…Doug with the rebound! Chacha runs into a double brick chokeslam. Chacha escapes a slice of love and a flying knee almost ends things! Brick City clears out Chacha and Copeland…leaving RSP in a three on one! Chacha tries to make the save but he runs right into a Business is Booming from Brick City and Doug makes the cover for the win!
Match 3: Hot Sauce Tracy Williams vs A-Game Joseph Alexander
This is an interesting match as it puts A-Game in the ring with another of the original former IWTV champions. Williams is looking ripped and ready to FIGHT. Alexander manages to pick the leg but that puts him square in Hot Sauce’s world….and Williams is VERY good at this type of combat. At one point he has A-Game locked up and even Williams is annoyed that he doesn’t grab the rope, so he puts Alexander’s own hand on there to force the break and slaps him in the back of the head for his lack of ring awareness. This fires A-Game up briefly but Tracy just runs him over. Alexander putting up his dukes but the lights aren’t entirely on….Williams slapping, chopping and stretching his opponent at will. A-Game finally lands a huge toss and starts to roll. He fights hard for it and gets a superplex for a VERY close two! A HARD slap to the back of the head and a fisherman’s buster almost keeps Williams down. The crowd starting to come to life on this comeback. Williams starting to rage back to life…huge lariat turns A-Game inside out! We’re in the finishing arc of the match as both guys start hitting big moves and escaping from others. A flying knee meets a lariat and they both crumble! Back to their feet, they start trading hard shots…Williams lands a defining blow and Alexander staggers into a piledriver that folds him over and puts the lights out for the three! This was really good.
Match 4: Tyree Taylor vs Bobby Casale
Bobby has a LOT to prove here tonight…otherwise, he’s gonna be a victim. Bobby actually starts matching strength with Tyree and giving him a lot of trouble. But just at the moment he feels the most confident? Tyree bowls him over. A huge spinebuster leaves him yelling in pain. Taylor is unstoppable and the Brooklyn Zoo bomb hits home and sends Bobby home with a well earned L.
Next up is the “Mystery Partner” tag match. DJ Powers is out here. And his partner? CHARLES MASON. DJ loves this. Eye Black Jack is out here and his partner? Rain Conway??? He reminds Jack that they’ve had their problems. Jack wants nothing to do with him. Rain tries to join DJ’s crew but they ALSO don’t want him. Jack hits him with a uranage and this might be a handicap match now??? NO! It’s Marcus Mathers!!!
Match 5: DJ Powers & Charles Mason vs Eye Black Jack & Marcus Mathers
Big Welcome Back Pop for Marcus! Mason is unfazed and takes it right to the former IWTV champ and Powers is more than happy to lend a dirty moist hand in the proceedings. This is almost a two on one against poor Marcus as EBJ is blasted off the apron. Ref Gina trying to keep control but DJ is right in here face. booooooo! Marcus finally with a flying back kick to make space but Mason doesn’t let that go…and Marcus sends him flying to the floor! Jack gets the tag! DJ tries to run but Mason is still out on the floor! Jack is going at DJ so hard that Gina has to pull him off! Powers tries to take advantage of that but Jack just hits a big powerslam for two! Mason showing life as DJ fights for survival. Charles cuts off the 450 and spikes Jack into the apron! DVD Frogsplash combo to Marcus! Jack makes the save! Mason tries to bite his nose off! DJ hits a claymore for two! Mason strangles Jack with Powers’ chain. DJ sets up to KO Jack but he dodges and Mason eats it! Jack with a uranage on DJ and Marcus hits the 450 for the win! This was some wild fun to close out the first half!

Match 6: Mercedes Martinez vs Jonathan Gresham
This is a VERY COOL 1st time ever matchup. Mercedes is here to fight…Gresham might be looking for a LITERAL dance partner??? They feel each other out carefully before the octopus traps Mercedes in a deep head scissors. Mercedes shuts Gresham down with a simple “you’re not my type, honey.” Well, it’s a fight now and Gresham goes to work on the leg. Martinez is trying to fight it off but Gresham is wily in this game. but a spinebuster will change the game QUICK. Mercedes can’t keep up the pace with her leg jacked up and Gresham stays on the attacks with ankle locks and a series of Germans and DDT’s. Martinez does not stay down though. She catches Gresham in the corner and hits a razor’s edge dominator!!!! A shining wizard follow-up can’t keep the lights out long enough for the win. She tries to tie Gresham into a surfboard but he gets free of that. Mercedes with a hard lariat but she’s hobbling around the ring. Back and forth pin attempts. Props to ref Tiger for keeping up with this! Gresham ties her up in a figure four and she’s in pain and fading. She keeps trying to get a shoulder up as the ref counts. She tries to turn the hold….she tries for the ropes….he stands up secures the hold tighter. Mercedes shoulders gone down as she screams in pain and she takes the three. Wow. You do NOT see that finish every day. Gresham gives ALL the respect in the world to Martinez for inspiring him and bows deep in gratitude for the match.
Match 7: Davey Bang & August Matthews(c) vs Brando Lee & Ichiban (for the IWTV World Tag Team Championships)
Bang & Matthews are getting booed hard. They aren’t HEELS persay. They just aren’t Brando & Ichiban. What Somerville gets is a high energy, high speed, high impact tag title match between two VERY good tandems. Lee gets picked apart early by the champs. He finally send them to the floor as Ichiban tags in. Spike DDT to Matthews doesn’t end it. Matthews blocks the Ichi Bankai! Bang with a springboard back elbow and tornado DDT to Ichiban. The champs with big flipping dives to the floor! The crowd is INTO this chaos! Doomsday leg lariat into Bang! Lee with a styles clash! Matthews makes the save on a deep pin! Lee sent flying into Ichiban! Matthews is perched! Nobody hitting home on these dives! Ichiban with a destroyer!!!! He gets Lee back into position! Rolling DVD smash combo! Matthews with a standing double stomp into ichiban to break up the pin!!! WILD. Lee goes toe to toe with August! Bang and Ichi back in there. Ichiban sent to the floor, leaving Lee to each a quad stomp to the back and a rolling slingshot spear for the win. The crowd may not like it but damn they have to RESPECT THAT. The “Please come Back” chant solidifies that respect.
Main Event: Krule(c) vs BRG (No-DQ Match for the IWTV Undisputed World Championship)
And now? It’s time for chaos and murder. Oxx ain’t here. Krule saw to that earlier. It’s just BRG and his shoulder brace and the Atrocity Krule. And probably some f***ery. Brett runs initially….and the crowd taunts him into bravery with a hard slap to the champ. Bad move. Krule just running Brett over. BRG makes a run for it again. He grabs a kendo stick and that does NOTHING to Krule. Krule cracks him with it HARD. BRG disappears under the ring and comes back with a bunch of chairs. Krule punches the chair right into Brett’s face. This is delightful. Krule has a bag of…something. BRG is bloodied up but manages to blindside the champ and start to work over the arm of the monster in the post. He cracks a chair into Krule’s arm and head. He pillmanizes the wrist! Brett grabs the bag and of COURSE it’s full of tacks. And that’s when Krule flapjacks him into the tacks…and then picks him up for a chokeslam into them as well. Then he drags him through them. Good horror movie s***. Brett grabs some tacks and slaps them into the monster and then superplexes him! Of course he kicks out…and then Brett tries an anaconda vise? Krule doesn’t tap out. To Brett’s credit, he knows to keep the hits coming or else Krule will get up. Krule coming back to life and crawls into four square of chairs that BRG set up. Brett with a hard shot to the dome with a chair. He wants one more big shot but Krupa chokebomb him through the chair square…AND HERE COMES OXX ADAMS. Oxx hits the ring, chokeslam! He throws BRG into the pin. Krule kicks out! He throws Oxx to the floor and hits Scorched Earth on BRG for the empathetic three. Brett is rolled out in a heap as Oxx stares up at Krule. They have unfinished business.
